And yes, there's a few Pokemon not on the list, BUT! Those Pokemon were all officially announced before the list leaked out.

...And if I did get a 3DS, I'd probably get Shantae and the Pirate's Curse before X or Y...

I don't even care about Mega Evolutions. I'm too happy that the Weather Gen isn't going to pass on over to Gen 6. 5 turn Weather Abilities make for a happy battler.

Basically, if you wanted to play a competitive match against anybody, they'd have something that would make it Rain/Sunny/SandyAsBalls/SnowyAsBalls weather and it was basically impossible to make a reasonable team without a Ninetales/Politoed/TyraniHippo/Abomasnow.
