Of course old dudes. The young people today can't appreciate pro wrestling. With their John Cenas and Undertakers, and Jeff Hardys. Back in the day, George Hackenschmidt (...I have no clue if thats the right spelling) would body slam a random guy 30 times in a row and pin him, and thats how they liked it!

Seriously though Kitten, theres only 3 types of wrestling "fans".

"Old Timer" fans: They want the 30's-70's back and hate everything after that.

"Internet" Fans: They want the Attitude era back. 1997-2000 and they hate EVERYTHING before AND after.

"Retarded Children" Fans: Anyone that dares like, or even watch, the current product.

Meanwhile, "People who actually just enjoy watching wrestling, whatever era or brand" are not, and really have never been, considered fans. Its like dealing with Sports Teams, only Stupid.

I am the snowflake or the cheese, I stand out from that with being a fan of the new generation era and technical wrestling(not mat wrestling alone) in general. I don't want wrestlers to bash their heads in with chairs or blade, that's disgusting and could be seen better in UFW. I want stories and wrestling at once. I would rather watch a match for a figure on a pole with Tatsu vs. Kidd or Storm vs. Styles BFG series match than Cena vs Show for no reason at Raw. <img src=

Cena vs Show was a number one contenders match wasn't it? That sounds like a much better reason then whatever "figure on a pole" Tatsu and Kidd would be fighting over, despite their talents. And they had a pretty good match as well.

Also, just in general, I love how there is always talk about how bad Cena is, and how there are so many people that are better then him, yet even Cena facing Johnny Ace in a stupid pointless nothing crap "match" gets more of the crowds attention and gets better reactions then the 5 star wrestling match that Punk and Jericho put on at Wrestlemania, and gets better reactions then literally anything featuring any of the guys that people claim are better to main event then Cena.

Cena has plenty of flaws, yes, but the guy works his ass off, has made several improvements, and is still ahead of everyone else on the roster. Even CM Punk, the closest in line to Cena, can't get the crowds attention and hold it like Cena can, nor has he ever been able to get bigger reactions then Cena, aside from the "Summer of Punk" in 2011. Seeing as WWE DOES base alot of its decisions out of the way the crowd reacts to someone, followed by PPV buys, The fact that nobody has been able to get a bigger reaction then Cena, nor outdraw him, and you cannot deny that Cena is a draw. As soon as somebody can do that, Outdraw Cena and consistently get bigger and better reactions and capture interest then him, THEN that person can take his place, and so far nobody, not even Punk, has been able to do that. Cena was able to take a fued with Johnny Ace of all people, and get the big reactions and interest with it. Punk failed to outdo that despite having much better matches and having workers like Jericho and Daniel Bryan/AJ to work with.

George was also in the era when the shit was real. And he was a very real grappler, and freakishly strong mofo who could do some of those seemingly inhuman stunts like bending railroad spikes over the corner of an anvil with his bare hands. Hard work using the "old fashioned" and "outdated" methods of 100 years ago could produce someone like that. He could have easily been a modern day bodybuilder like these guys nowadays on steroids with the appearance he got from doing what he did back then to just simply get strong as hell for functional purposes with no interest whatsoever in his muscular shape. He just had a brutally strong look that suggested If he grabbed you, you knew you were automatically done for. I'd love to see roid freak Dave Batista try to go against "The Hack" in a real wrestling match. <img src=
