Background
Born in San Diego, California, Talia grew up watching wrestling on television.  Even at a young age, her parents brought her to wrestling events.  She knew it was all she wanted to do when she grew up.  Her parents didn't approve of her choice, but she still dreamed of becoming a wrestler one day.

She spent years training in gyms.  The people she trained with were almost all boys.  Her small size and frame made sparring and practice matches difficult as the larger boys could always manhandle her.  Talia became quick as a result; knowing her agility was her strength.  Because of her history with wrestling boys, it seemed natural to join the Tension league of AFW when she felt confident enough to do so.  She moved to Japan at the age of twenty.  Alone in a foreign country, Talia was not discouraged and has trained and fought in the AFW ever since.

Though she has always been overshadowed by her brother (a successful wrestler in the USA), Talia never compares his successes to her own.  Even though the two have shared a rivalry since they were kids, the difference in distance and class between them has kept the tension minimal.

Personality  
Talia is kindhearted and gentle.  She has a certain effervescence that always seems to prevail despite beatings she has taken in the past.   Though bright, she can be very naive at times.  She often assumes everyone is as nice as she can be, and it has gotten her into trouble.  Regardless, it never seems to influence her views.  She has incredible perseverance.  She never gives up, no matter how dim the circumstances can be.  This also gets her into trouble; and she has suffered immensely in matches when she is outclassed. She loves to push things to their limits, and enjoys a good adventure.

Signature Moves:  
Running Bulldog - When her opponent is standing, Talia will run behind him/or and bounce off the ropes to gain speed.  She leaps into the air and grabs the back of her opponent's head in a makeshift headlock.  She sticks her legs out forward while still airborne, landing on her bottom with her opponent's head hitting the ground face first.
Missile Dropkick - Talia climbs to the top rope, either in the corner or on the sides.  She leaps into the air, with her feet together and in front of her.  She kicks both legs forward and towards her opponent while rotating her body.  The kick is usually aimed high around the chest or head.  The rotation ensures she lands on her knees and hands after the kick.
Swanton Bomb - Talia jumps off the turnbuckle in a slow and graceful front flip.  She times it so her back collides with the target.  It is best on a laying opponent, but also works if they are standing.
Guardian Angel - Talia bounces off the ropes on one side of the ring, sprints to the other side, and leaps over the top rope in a diving crossbody to the opponent(s) outside of the ring below her.  Can be very devastating to both her opponent and her, even when she does it right.  Named by a friend of hers, who suggested she had a guardian angel since Talia has never been injured despite the fact that it's just a glorified suicide dive.

Finishing Moves:
Heavenrana (Hurricanrana) - Talia leaps off of the top rope either from the outside of the ring or from the corner turnbuckle.  Her legs catch her opponent's head between her thighs and she pulls them toward her.  This flips them over her and if done right results in her painlessly landing on her knees with her opponent flying across the ring.  She almost always follows this with a...
Angel Splash (Frog Splash) - When her opponent is laying face up on the floor, Talia climbs to the top rope of the corner.  She leaps into the air, pulling her hands and knees inward, and then the pull back outward right as she lands on him/her.  Down right, it's aimed right for the opponent's midsection with the intention to pin immediately after impact.

Preferred Matches:  Any Tension matches; though she wouldn't mind wrestling in the Friction league as well.

Wrestling - She has extensive training in submission, striking, and counter techniques but her weak build severely limits their effectiveness especially against powerhouses.  She is an incredible acrobat, and her strategy for victory always includes an array of aerial maneuvers.

Background
Dark Angel is Talia's new persona.  Her first experiences in the AFW ring weren't very pleasant and it was usually a result of her naturally kind and gentle demeanor.  Of course in hindsight she realized she was doomed from the start to believe she could be that way in such a violent sport.  It didn't take long for the pain and humiliation week in and week out to get to her.  After her arm was nearly broken by a friend after a misguided attempt to get back at a rival, Talia finally broke.  She became bitter and hostile to even her friends and left the AFW.  She eventually did return after an obsessive training routine, but had no intention of resuming her career where she left off.

Personality  
Though the kind young woman is still somewhere inside of her, Talia has become rather vicious and angry at others.  She has no interest in making friends or allies as the relationships only made her feel more pain when conflict did ensue.  This reluctance to open up has made her quiet and resistant to communicate with others.  Talia also always wears her new costume when in any AFW building and even avoids the AFW gyms.

Seated Head-scissors - With her opponent lying face down on the ground, Talia puts her back to the ground and pulls one of his or her arms and head toward her.  She then traps the arm and head between her thighs and squeezes her legs together.  Finally, she traps their trapped arm by stretching it out.  She particularly enjoys this form of the headscissors as it forces the opponent to look at her as she squeezes the life out of them.  If her opponent is still particularly resistant, she even uses her free arm to assault their undefended face.

Appearance: As shown above, Talia's new outfit covers most of her features.  She always wears the kitsune mask.  In an effort to change what she use to be, she even dyed her hair brown.

Figure Four Leglock - Talia stands over the opponent who is lying on the mat face up and grasps a leg of the opponent. She then does a spinning toe hold and grasps the other leg, crossing them into a "4" (hence the name) as she does so and falls to the mat, applying pressure to the opponent's crossed legs with his own.
