League of Legends is awesome, but I haven't touched it in a while. I can't really recommend it though, unless someone wants to put in a TON of time towards it. It's got a really, really high skill cap, and the community is pretty shit. I still love it though.

I like games like Limbo, though. And Braid. I've played a bunch of that sort of thing. Bastion.
But yeah, they get really, really into League of Legends. Like... don't talk to them while they're oh my god if I finish this sentence I'll be such a freaking girl. Screw that. Anyway, they have a set team and everything.

It's a lot easier when you have an actual set team. The game is incredibly team based, and trusting matchmaking to give you someone intelligent to play with is like playing Russian Roulette.

Yes.
It's the worst. You either get a bunch of brazilians that can't speak english so you can't talk to them to plan out your movements, or you get a bunch of dumbasses that forget it's a team game and run off to fight the enemy all by themselves.
Sooo glad I have something of an actual team, I really am. >__>

I like team stuff. But... I've never done anything team-oriented before.
But what you're saying is that WA is bad at LOL. Good to know.

I did not know that. " title="Razz" />
I mean no offense to her at all! It's just that, a lot of these free-to-play games, you get Brazilians in them that can't speak English, and aren't too skilled at the game. In something heavily team based like League of Legends, it really, really hurts the team when it happens. :/

[quote="Bluemouse":2z0257vk]I like games like Limbo, though.
Indie games is one of the things I am sort of into. I used to be more into it, but in any case.
I was sort of disappointed that the spider part was only chapter one of Limbo. The game just abruptly ceased being overtly creepy. (Maybe it wasn't creepy if you're okay with spiders?)

I would probably recommend starting with a game where teamwork is a plus, but not totally necessary. Battlefield 3 is okay for this. I used to prefer team fortress 2, but it got too bloated for my tastes.

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.
