The Mothman vs. The Moon Goddess

Backstage, Mothman had finished his brief lesson on the proper etiquette when entering an arena. A young woman held his clawed hand, guiding him to the tunnel leading into the arena itself. She had babied him through the tutorial, but he did not mind it at all. Mothman found her a bit cute. She wore some risque clothing. The most notable article of clothing was her short-shorts. The Mothman nodded to everything she told him, though he did not pay one bit of attention to what his backstage "helper" had to say. He was more eager to stick his tentacles down her shorts, but his better judgment hindered him from doing so. Mothman was just worried that he wouldn't be well received; he shied away from large crowds, and an arena filled with thousands of people? Not his cup of tea.

The two stopped at a hallway that led to the tunnel. The lady looked him in the eyes. "Your opponent is going to be powerful. She's a goddess, supposedly. I was skeptical, but who am I to say what she is?" A goddess? The word was familiar to him. He pondered its significance until his train of thought was put to a stop by his assistant. "Hey..just do your best!" She patted his head, and he nuzzled the palm of her hand. The lady giggled. "It's been fun. Now go get her!" His helper gave an encouraging slap on the buttocks, and the butterflies in his stomach disappeared. The winged wonder chirped sharply in response and shuffled through the hallway and into the tunnel.

~~In the Arena~~

The arena became still and quiet. Penetrating the inky darkness were two glowing red orbs. They were Mothman's eyes. He emerged from the tunnel, his form enshrouded by darkness. No lights were on. Preparations had been made to ensure the safety of the audience. The officials didn't know if Mothman would react violently to a bright arena. He was not doing it to be intimidating, but because those were the sounds he normally made. He eyed the shocked faces that were staring at him. Many did so in excitement, while some did it out of pure fright. His wings spread, revealing their leather-like hide. From the top of the ramp, he jumped and glided downward. He landed inside the ring.

The stage light flickered, and gradually turned on. The light was dim at first, but it became brighter with each passing second. With his gigantic wings, Mothman shielded his eyes from the light as it slowly increased in brightness. It would take a small amount of time for them to adjust to the luminous stage light. Shortly after, he uncovered his eyes, and folded his wings. The light struck his body, and his form was revealed to the world:



The gray skin, the red eyes, the wings---everything that made up the Mothman was in plain sight, aside from much of his face which was obscured by the shadows. A small section of the audience started chanting "MOSSSUUMAN! MOSSSUUMAN!" The bulky humanoid bashed his fists together and screamed once again, eagerly awaiting his opponent.

Moon goddess was backstage getting dressed. She was a wolf creature and considered very beautiful even by human standards. Her outfit contained a long silk loincloth with panties underneath And a jewel encrested bra. She was looking forward to this match for one reason. To show the world that evil can never win. The stage assiasstant came in and told her it was time. "Great, i will love humiliating this demon." She said proudly.

She walked into the arena and the crowd went wild seeing the sexy wolf wearing very little. She looked to her opponent and saw that he was huge but still she fought bigger. She just had to be faster and smarter than him. Some kind of rock music played in the speakers. In truth she did not really care for what kind of music played and told them to play one at random.

She jumped onto the stage with grace and stared at her larger opponent ignoring the whistles and catcalls from the guys. "Ready to go down demon? " she asked arrogently. She really did not know if he was a demon bug decided to call him that anyways.

Mothman's wings fluttered lightly upon seeing the Moon Goddess in all her splendor. She wore little clothing, though she did not need it. The way the crowd ogled her was justifiable. The Moon Goddess gracefully leapt into the ring, which elicited a light squeal from the winged wonder. From what he knew about goddesses, they were supposed to be heavenly in both appearance and spirit. She certainly had both of those qualities. However, his opinion of this beautiful deity would change when she challenged him:

"Ready to go down demon?"

Demon. That last word echoed in his mind. Mothman did not fully understand the meaning of the word, but he didn't need to in order to understand its negative connotations. Was his physical appearance the only thing people saw when they looked at him? Humans apparently were not the only biased entities who saw him in such a light, especially now that a goddess had just referred to him in that manner. What got to him, however was the Moon Goddess's pompous attitude toward the monster, as though she felt that he was an inferior creature.

The bell rang. He came out of his trance and narrowed his eyes at the Moon Goddess. The friendly, curious orbs that were his eyes became a twisted, slanted pair shaped like blades; a look of hostility. One of Mothman's many tentacles slithered out of his body. Then Mothman slowly trudged forward, making those same breathing sounds he displayed during his entrance.

His arms were moderately extended in front of him; not an ideal fighting stance, but it was not intended to act as one. As he approached the lupine deity, he lashed his tentacle against the air. It made loud cracks like a whip. When he was within several feet of her, Mothman's tentacle slithered along the mat of the ring. He tried to let it coil around the goddess's leg and pull her to the floor.

Moon goddess stared him straight in the eyes not impressed with his size. "What? Did i hurt your feelings? " she asked. In truth she was not artogent but in the ring she had to be or else others would have eaten her alive.

She watched his tentacles move and crack like a whip. She remembered tentacles well since quite a few demons prefered them. None of the less she had experience with them and hated them. Anticipating the tentacles she tried to dodge to her left but it wrapped around her leg and dragged her down to the floor.

His attempt to trip the goddess up was successful. The Mothman's eyes shined with glee while still retaining their intimidating shape. The fighters were only separated by several feet, a proximity that the Mothman favored; less walking. So he started to take a few more steps forward, his eyes reflecting his hunger for the divine beauty he had restrained. The tentacle squeezed the Moon Goddess's leg with a death grip.

Mothman stopped within inches of the goddess. He was close enough to pound her into the mat if he wanted to. Mothman had other plans, however. The giant beast loomed over the Moon Goddess. He came down on the Moon Goddess, almost touching his face to her own. He reared his head. The Mothman opened his gaping mouth. Like his eyes, the inside of his throat pulsated with a ruby-red hue.

If the Moon Goddess could not escape his tentacle's grip, she would most likely feel the ear-splitting effects of one of Mothman's super abilities: the Hyper Cry, a scream so powerful that it could stun individuals who were within close proximity. In some cases, it even caused blood to leak from the ears of certain individuals.

Moon goddess imjediatly grabbed the tentacles on her leg and pulled but not matter how hard she tried she could not pry them off they had a death grip on her leg. "Let me go demon. " she shouted.

She watched him come closer. She tried not to be intimidated but it was hard when you are trapped and your opponent is larger. She heard him shriek as her hands covered her ears. Being a wolf they were extremely sensitive ad she was stunned for several seconds.

Once again, his efforts did not go to waste. During those several seconds, Mothman tried to take advantage of the opportune moment. The tentacle uncoiled and was withdrawn back into him. The monster could not fly with any of his tentacles cast out, so it was only necessary to release the goddess. The Mothman mightily flapped his wings thrice, then stopped several feet in the air before dropping quickly.

The Moon Goddess's body lied there, still feeling the effects of his Hyper Cry. Mothman was trying to land on the Moon Goddess with his feet! If he did it while she was still stunned, he would surely succeed in landing on top of the goddess. But how long would she remain in that state? Most likely not for long.

Moon goddess was barely aware of the tentacles being removed from her leg. The sound still was echoing in her head well after the mothman was done screeching. It was the worst sound she ever heard.

She looked at her leg and noticed that the tentacles was no longer around and in fact the mothman was no longer in front of her. She looked around before realizing where he was. Above her.

Quickly she rolled to her left barely avoiding getting slammed on by mothman. The quake caused by him shook the stage as his foot landed on the back part of her loincloth.

Mothman screeched like a displeased bird of prey. He had the Moon Goddess under his feet, and she managed to escape from his mighty stomp. Or at least, he thought she escaped. He landed on a piece of the goddess's garment: a loincloth. The talons on one of his feet were snagged by the fabric of her loincloth. They penetrated the cloth, forming holes in them. Mothman craned his neck downward, eyeing the loincloth. It bothered the winged humanoid. To him, it was like getting one's foot stuck in tar.

He thrust his foot forward, as though he were delivering a kick. It did nothing but stretch the fabric. Once again, he screamed in displeasure. When Mothman became irritated, he never hesitated to show how upset he was; and it was evident that he was in fact bothered by it. Tiny things like this made him so angry that he would lose control of himself. Mothman cast forth four tentacles, and using them, he grasped the loincloth and pulled on it.

The fabric was being strained. The sounds of it stretching were signs that it was about to snap. But taking a step back, Mothman forgot that his foot was snagged in the first place. He tripped and fell on his back clumsily. Mothman thrashed his arms and legs about, hissing rowdily. Still pulling on the cloth, his tentacles were about to tear off the Moon Goddess's loincloth. It was at this point that he had forgotten about the match. Now he was wrestling with an article of clothing instead of a goddess...

Moon goddess looked over az her eyes went wide seeing that her loincloth was snagged. To make matters worse mothman was struggling to get the cloth off his talons making it rip more and more while dragging moon goddess around the arena. "Stop you fool you are tearing it " she cried at him.

A ripping sound was heard as he fell backwards ripping the entire loincloth off leaving her in her panties. She covered them embarrassed by the mortals whistling at her and teasing her. But the crowd was also laughing at mothman who was seemingly losing agianst her torn off loincloth.

Her embarrassment turned to anger as she charged at mothman and attempted to slam her elbow into his chest not knowing how much she could hurt him since she was only 120 pounds.
