Archives?

For the newbies like myself, we kinda miss out on some of the old, hidden gems in the long line of matches you guys have done. I was wondering if any of you were sitting on archives that you could be sharing with the world. I know the Google Group has a load of good stuff, and I have procured all of that, but I'm sure there's plenty more that has been done, and I'd hate to see it all disappear. (Hell, the way Yatori's character... er... Yatori describes the first bed match makes it sound like a fight not to be missed, but I can't seem to find it.) This forum, combined with file-uploading sites like Megaupload, Rapidshare, Mediafire, etc, means getting that stuff online could be really easy.

Anyway, I am just asking if there are archived matches I have yet to find.

The RP after the Yatori v Mia futon match is still continuing which is why it hasn't been posted yet I guess.

I do have a few archived matches that aren't up yet, but each time I have to go through a edit out all the OOC comments and make it a little easier to read. So I've got a backlog of them which I don't want to spend all of my spare time working on, I just post up a few every now and again. I know some other people also have PM matches which haven't been posted up for what ever reason.

Yeah, I understand that editing and compiling these is a giant pain for the most part. I've just been grabbing stuff randomly from these boards just in case by using a Firefox save complete webpage plugin.

I didn't realize you could save complete websites, and it working on message boards too? so it saves all the posts?

Also, are you asking because you've read all of the current completed matches already?

Oh, I have to save them page-by-page. It is inelegant, but a damn sight quicker than copying post-by-post into notepad or word.

I am nowhere close to finishing every match on these boards. I prefer to savor them.

The only reasons I ask are a combination of nostalgia from matches lost since the adultboards site, the fact that AFW seems to be under a website jinx of sorts, the possibility that with all the website switching that someone might have already parsed archives that they never uploaded, and.... while I don't want to play favorites here as everyone here is wonderful... sometimes I just get a thirst for more of Yatori's writing style, and thus I fear losing an opportunity to have archives of it. Well if you are saving them anyway, you could always put what you've saved up on the google group (that's not a function reserved to the admin and mods). Unfortunately most of the matches that actually took place on freeadultboards will be lost, back then I didn't think forward enough to save completed matches to my computer and I doubt anyone else did either :\ The only ones I've got are IM matches which still need posting up, some from long ago back such as:

Dominic v Mimi
Dominic v Mimi rematch
Luci v Heidi rematch
Dixie v Reiko rematch
Erin v Kotomi
Princess Nocturnal v Sailor Mercury rematch
Amuro v Nurses
Sandy v Yatori (somewhere in mails, pokes Yatori to post that one)

Possibly some more that I hadn't noticed, and that doesn't include matches that have not been completed yet (quite a few that would never get completed). I think Yatori has had a few other matches not yet posted, the editing usually acts as an effective barrier for getting this done.

I would have been surprised if you'd said you'd read all the current matches posted ^_^ I only VERY rarely get a chance to read someone elses match and usually I do so with a specific motive in mind (like future storyline ideas)
