I think at this point like, half of my characters have profiles and haven't done anything yet. ;P

I need to clean up my profiles and get them up to modern standards anyway.

It's been harder than I expected to dig into a male character ._.

RP'ing them here is much different for me than writing them elsewhere, for what I presume to be reasons.

Maybe you just haven't found the write person to RP him with? I find I can RP certain characters better with some people then others.

School dances were stupid anyway, like most high school social events.

Well, I haven't had him in much of anything yet, and there's definitely a breaking in process, but I mean just the mental legwork of figuring him out. Apparently, whatever it is that makes guys tick just isn't as interesting. :/

I kid. But still, it's hard.

I feel the same way about female characters. Maybe take a "base model" from fiction or even someone you know then tweak them and write up a background that is something you can get into?

And prom.... I recall disliking mine, and waking up the next day in a lawn chair surrounded by beer cans and wearing nothing but pants and aviator shades.
