A hot and cold break

It was a long and lonely night for Natalia. The fact that she didn't had anyone to cheer her up only made it much worse. She wasn't in talking terms with Adrian, Marisa was surely in New York and Akashi...well Akashi was surely celebrating with Taylor her victory over Natalia.

She laid face down on her bed, despite the pain killers they have gave her to help with the hurt neck, arm and knee, she couldn't fall asleep. In her mind she could do nothing but relive the match over and over again. Taylor not only had beat her at what was supposed to be her best, she had dominated her the whole match. The blue-eyed cutie felt her confidence shattered. First Adrian, then Heather and now Taylor, she thought, remembering her three official defeats in the league. And none of them were among the elite!

These girls weren't that tough, Natalia thought, then why had they all beat her? Something was wrong with her, but she just couldn't tell what. Maybe she had lost it...  Natalia sighed and rubbed her face in the pillow, softly since she was sporting quite a few bruises from the beating Taylor had given her. She tried to do what she always did when she lost, tell herself it didn't mattered, that she would get up, train harder and get back at 'them', show them she was better, but this time it didn't worked. Training was going to be difficult with the upcoming movie..that if they hadn't decided to end her contract because of her defeat, and for some reason she didn't felt like she wanted to get back at 'them'.  She didn't wanted to fight Adrian for obvious reasons, and Taylor, after the thrashing she had received she felt kind of intimidated, that punk was like pure kryptonite for her.

'If it had been Hentai, I would have won...' she said to herself trying to cheer herself up, but that just made her feel she was not a competent wrestler. She had to rely on porn tricks and stuff to win her fights, and the though only made her feel more down. Even Heather, she couldn't tell why, but she didn't felt like she wanted to face her again. She didn't wanted to face anyone. "Maybe I should retire...." Natalia said out loud.

The echo of her words in the lonely room made Natalia wake up fully, despite the induced grogginess from the pain killers. Retire? Quit? That wasn't her, not at all. Just to have thought of it made Natalia realize there was something very wrong with her. She needed to make a stop and find out what was happening before getting into more fights and more defeats. She needed a break to take care of herself. She needed vacations.

She got up from her bed with a jump and went to the bathroom to take a quick hot shower to wake up fully. Then she put up some make-up to hide the bruises and got dressed, putting a big dark glasses on her eyes to try to travel incognito, packed barely a few things and left her apartment. Down in the elevator she realized she had forgotten her phone, but she decided not to go back. 'Don't want anyone to call me...' she told herself. She picked a taxi and went to the airport to leave Tokyo by air.

Natalia had already picked a destination for vacations long before the PPV, a private onsen near Beppu in the Kyushu island that she had heard about.In a matter of a few hours Natalia was already installed in a small cabin in the mountains besides the hot-spring. It was winter so the whole place was covered by snow, save for the steaming pool of hot water.

Natalia left the cabin  wearing a bath robe and a pair of geta sandals. She looked around and just as she expected there was nobody around, so she quickly ran to the pool of water, taking out the sandals and bathrobe to jump into the water completely nude. 



"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....." Natalia purred as the water licked her body warmly, making her feel so good with an almost instant relaxing effect. She looked at the lovely winter scenery around her. It was so cold outside of the water and so hot inside, it made her feel extra cozy and soon her worries began to seem so small and unimportant, just like the city below the mountain

Megumi looked at the ticket in her hand, wondering to herself why Drake had gone out of his way to give her this. It was a ticket to a secluded private hot spring that was said to have incredible restorative properties, and was supposedly very difficult to get into. She wondered why Drake gave her this ticket; it wasn't as if she had done anything recently for him that would require such a favor. His reason was that he wanted his girls to be happy, and that perhaps Megumi would get a pleasant surprise there, which made Megumi even more suspicious.

Of course, that's not to say she didn't want a vacation. Any reason to get out of the stuffy studios and away from the ogling crowds was a good reason for her. In all honesty Megumi didn't feel like she was cut out for all this idol stuff. She was trained as a fighter, not as a celebrity. And even after all these years and all that experience, Megumi still couldn't say she felt confident enough to perform alone in front of the crowds. Fighting yes, but when all eyes were on her like that, it gave her the jitters.

Which was part of the reason Megumi wanted to get away from the crowds. In Tokyo, she was already famous enough that people recognized her on the streets, and oftentimes rabid fans would come and hound her for autographs and attention. It was starting to become very annoying. That, and the fact that she was working herself quite hard to get the new album out and to prepare for the inevitable slew of challengers for the Tag Team belt made this vacation a welcome diversion.

What seemed odd about all this was that Drake only gave a ticket to her, and told her she must not give it to anyone else. Megumi thought about giving it to Tomomi to comfort the girl after her loss, or to Chigusa, who seemed rather distant lately, but she abided by Drake's request, and used it on herself.

Finding the hot spring was a bit of a chore, considering how isolated it was. But that suited Megumi perfectly, since she was coming to get away from all those crowds in Tokyo. As she checked in, she was a bit surprised when the staff said they had been expecting her, and took her back towards an even more isolated cabin on the mountain. It was an extremely zen place, and Megumi wasn't complaining. It did bother her a little bit that Drake took all this time to set it up though. Almost like he was planning something.

As she headed up the mountain, she chatted a little with the girl leading her there. Megumi found out that the cabin was in fact occupied, but it was made for two so putting her in it was ok. Megumi didn't think much of it; it just meant she would have some company, which might be good considering how isolated this place was. The cabin was soon in sight. Megumi bade the girl farewell as she walked over to the door to settle in for a relaxing time.

The hot water, the beautiful scenery, the isolation, the snow, it was all perfect. Natalia let her senses get lost in the marvel of the hot spring. She submerged herself in the water and stretched her body fully, relaxing completely as she tested herself, trying to hold her breath for as long as she could before pushing her head up, over the surface of the pool to take a deep breath. Why couldn't all her life be like this?

Natalia then looked up and noticed a few snow flakes falling into the pool, most of them never made it to the water, melting and evaporating by the steam of the spring, but a few of the biggest ones managed to reach the surface, creating the tiniest of splashes possibles. Natalia raised one hand to catch one of this flakes, it was so cold and melted immediately against her warm flesh. "So beautiful!" Natalia said giggling happily ^_^

But then she heard a strange noise, she gasped suprised when she realized the noise was actually a person in the cabin. Natalia had thought that she would be completely alone, and she had more than a few reasons to fear that someone could be stalking her. She swam to the the border of the pool and raised her head to see who was there. The blue-eyed cutie raised and eyebrow when she noticed the intruder was a cute girl, but then her brow closed as she frowned. Natalia knew this girl. ò_ó

"....megumi..." she said, anger lingering in her voice. The Dream felt more than slightly upset. She had come here to get some peace and get away from AFW, but there was one of her rivals. When their irol girl match ended in a draw, they sailed off to a small deserted island to settle matters on their own, but they never managed to finish that battle. There were reports of an incoming typhoon, and the AFW personel had arrived to the island to drag them away, leaving their business still unsettled.

"MEGUMI!!!" Natalia yelled from the pool, breaking the mountain's silence to get the idol's attention. She then placed her elbows outside of the pool and rested her head on her hands, keeping the rest of her body inside the water. "What are you doing here?" she asked in a tone that left no doubt that she demanded an explanation.

Megumi was just about to enter the cabin when suddenly from the hot spring a familiar, and not particularly welcoming, voice called out her name. Megumi frowned, turning around, and saw a rather unpleasant surprise. Inside the pool was Natalia. Megumi blinked in confusion. Why was Natalia here? Then, it all dawned upon her. This was all a setup it seemed! Drake wanted her here, with Natalia, for some reason. Megumi turned to tell the girl to put her in a different cabin, but she was already gone! And Natalia was looking rather upset, glaring at her from the pool. This was certainly an awkward position for Megumi to get caught in!

"W-what?" Megumi said. She looked around for a way out, but there was no way to defuse this situation. She took a deep breath to regain some of her composure. "Is that a way you should be greeting someone Natalia?" Megumi said, her old coolness coming back, "I'm here on vacation, that's all. Why are you here? And why are we in the same cabin?"

"Don't play coy, Megumi!" Natalia hissed slamming a fist on the water. "I'm here on vacations and I find it extremely suspicious that you happen to be here too. What? Are you stalking me?" Natalia said smiling, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she looked at Megumi from inside the steamy pool.

"It doesn't matters. You are not welcome here...so... Natalia added with a smug smile. "Leave"

"I'm here on vacation too!" Megumi responded, "Just so happens I got a free ticket to this place from my manager, and they decided to put me in this cabin." Ohh Drake, I'm going to kill you...

Megumi was seriously beginning to regret this decision now. It seemed that Natalia wasn't budging, and knowing the girl she would gladly fight Megumi if it meant getting her way. Megumi considered just leaving, but there was no way she could do that without being labeled a coward by Natalia, and Megumi had way too much pride to let that happen. She preferred to get beat up than to submit.

"I could say the same to you Natalia," Megumi responded, "But luckily I'm not a mean selfish person. Now, share nicely, or I'll have to punish you!"

"Yeah, right. Your manager gave you a ticket to stay in MY cabin. What a coincidence..." Natalia said sarcastically as she watched Megumi. She didn't liked one bit the idea of spending her vacations with Megumi, sharing the cabin and the hot spring, but in her current state Natalia didn't felt like picking up a fight. She was still hurt from her battle at the PPV and part of her still felt guilty for having ambushed Megumi.

Yet she wanted to be mean with Megumi, or at least tease her and annoy her just for fun of making an idol look bad. No matter what, Natalia couldn't stop being jealous of Megumi's fame. "Ok...lets share..." Natalia would say as get jumped, getting half of her body out of the pool to reach for Megumi's belt and pull, trying to make the idol fall fully clothed into the hot water.

"It's the truth!" Megumi shot back. She didn't expect Natalia to believe her, but her tone was starting to annoy Megumi now. She wondered why Natalia couldn't be a little more pleasant. She stepped in close to give Natalia a piece of her mind, a mistake as it turned out.

Suddenly Natalia lunged out of the water and grabbed Megumi's belt. With a yell, Megumi tumbled into the water fully clothed. She burst out, eyes wide with surprise, coughing slightly. "Ahh! My clothes!" Megumi said, looking in horror as all her clothes got wet. Her red velvet jacket, which was never supposed to touch water, was completely soaked. Her shirt was see-through now, clinging to her body, and her pantyhose was utterly ruined as well! Megumi quickly moved to get out of the hot water and run inside, trying to strip off all her wet clothes and save what she can, and to get away from the mean Natalia.

Natalia laughed aloud as she saw Megumi all soaked with her clothes on. It felt so good to mess with the idol. The dark haired beauty felt somehow avenged, she could feel the bittersweet taste of revenge in her lips, although she wasn't sure what Megumi had done to her to deserve this...beside being way more famous than her.

As Megumi left the pool, Natalia took the chance to admire Megumi's bosom and give her cute butt a spank. "And don't come back!" The Dream said triumphantly.

But when she saw Megumi run in the all soaked up to the cabin, Natalia began to feel real guilty. She knew that venting out her frustration and jelousy like that on Megumi had been totally wrong. She had behaved like a stupid mean bully. Natalia sulked her body, sinking it in the water until it covered her mouth. Now she had to apologize to Megumi but...she didn't wanted to!

This made her feel so ashamed, so Natalia decided to hide and sunk herself completely under the water. Maybe Megumi will just get other clothes and leave and she won't have to face her, Natalia hoped as she hid underwater.

Megumi seriously considered leaving after Natalia did that to her, but as she dried off she realized that would only allow Natalia to win. Megumi wasn't going to let that happen. She had every right to be here as well, and Natalia was just going to have to live with that. If she wanted to be pleasant, then Megumi would be nice as well. But if Natalia was mean, then Megumi would happily repay her in kind.

After wrapping a robe around herself, Megumi grabbed a small basin and went outside. She filled it up to the brim with snow, packing it in tightly. Then she headed back to the hot pool where Natalia was. She walked right up to the submerged girl, and without a word, took all that snow and dumped it over Natalia's head. With a hmph! Megumi went back into the cabin to prepare for the inevitable war.
