Natasha Han vs. Tessa Price

Natasha started to pull Tessa towards the middle of the ring with the headlock, but then she felt the blonde wrapping her arm around her to try and set her up for the suplex. Thinking quick, she would try to counter it before Tessa could lift her up, by snapping back with a quick Russian leg sweep, hoping to take both of them to the mat.

It was a way of countering out of a back suplex she hadn't really anticipated so they crashed both on the mats, half leg sweeped, half suplexed in a tangling mass of headlock, waistlock and a pair of intertwined legs that were formed of one leg of Natasha and one of Tessa. Luckily the headlock of Natasha had protected her neck so they would have probably absorbed the same amount of damage from the fall, at least that was her thinking

After orienting for a moment, she would try to punch at the short ribs of the Russian while removing her leg from the sweeping maneuver.

Natasha landed in a heap with Tessa. She groaned a bit, starting to rise back up, but that punch forced her to pause a moment, grabbing for her ribs.

She shook her head, looking up at Tessa, and in response would fire off a punch of her own, this one aimed at Tessa's midsection.

Tessa had to take the hit too, but her head was free and so was she as she rolled away from Natasha until she reached the ropes where she got on her knees, holding her side where the fist of her opponent had hit her but a slight smile on her face. She was kind of satisfied that she could hold her own against a well known woman like Natasha Han for quite some time now, that probably meant that she could at least howl with the other wolves.

Natasha watched as Tessa rolled to the ropes as she climbed to her feet. Maybe it was her pride stinging her, but she was not pleased with how well a 'new' member of the federation was doing against her, sparring match or not. Shaking her head, she decided she would have to turn things up a bit, and try to turn this around for good.

She began to move in towards Tessa, and once close enough she would lunge in to her, trying to force a lock up and push her back into the ropes, and if she was able to do so, would pin her against them then bring her knee up sharply towards Tessa's midsection.

Tessa had barely come to her feet as Natasha was over her and locked up with her. That was a little surprising for her, who did a lock up in a more advanced stage of a fight? Anyway, she was eager to lock up with her as a lock up meant chances for further actions as it was more of a transitional move in her eyes for several holds.

But Natasha obviously had other plans and planted a knee in her torso as she was in the ropes where she had expected to be rather safe like in a real match and a knee in this position was more of a heel tactic.
"Hey! Uuhh!"
she let out a gasp of surprise as air was exported from and pain imported in her body. Her grasp at Natasha became weaker, but right now she held on to it to keep standing.

Heel tactic? Perhaps, but Nat fought to win, no matter who her opponent was. If it was something that Tessa wasn't expecting, she needed to learn to expect things like that more.

Tessa's cry of surprise was exactly what Natasha wanted to hear, and as she pressed towards her she would follow up with a second knee to the midsection, hoping to weaken the blonde further.

It was indeed a good learning experience, one that made her determined that mommy had raised no fool with a heavily breathing Tessa. When the leg of Natasha came swinging in for the second time, she would try to lose the lock up, letting the hands of the Russian lying on her shoulders while she tried to grab the leg of Natasha under the knee and kick at her other leg to send her to the ground.

Natasha grunted as she felt Tessa grab onto her knee. She eyes flashed up to stare into the blonde's for a brief moment, then the next thing she knew, she was lying on her back, staring up towards her.

As she had brought the Russian to the ground this time, the Blonde didn't want to waste time with a smirk or something like that. It had proven costly to give Natasha even the slightest opportunity to hit her hard or take a breath at all. And as she was now hurting much more than in the beginning phase of the fight, she would try to drop to the ground with an elbow to the upper torso of Natasha.
