A Serpentine Friend?

When Liana mentioned for her to stop squeezing so hard Tannis complied and loosened her grip only to squeeze harder again when Liana began to drive away. Now as the began to drive Tannis slowly began to fall asleep while clinging to Liana as by now her body was exhausted as she had not slept in her coffin and the beating from Josey was never treated.

It didn't take to long before they arrived at a little apartment complex, not to fancy, an average place, when she went to step of her bike, she looked back at Tannis, the girl was sleeping, that could have been very dangerous if she fell off, maybe they should have just taken a cab or something, but they had managed to get here without any difficulty.

She took the girl and decided to carry her in as well, also taking Luci out of the saddlebag and the box allowing him to slither around on the smaller girl as Liana began to carry her into the building, and waiting for the elevator.

Tannis stayed asleep in Liana's arms for a few moments but as the waited for the elevator Tannis woke up and immediatly began to squirm and struggle about as if she was having a bad dream. However that only lasted a second and without even noticing it Tannis had grabbed onto Luci in order to prevent him from going flying off her body. Now when she calmed down she looked at the snake and said "i'm sorry i had a bad dream" Tannis however didn't even realize she was being held by Liana and she continued to hold the snake in her arms.

Liana looked on as the girls struggled in her grasp, it was difficult to hold onto her, even if it was just for a second, Luci was a bit shaken by Tannis struggling, but it was nothing that it didn't just shake of and hissed a little to answer her.

"You okay there little one?...Bad dream?....just stay calm...you will get the chance to rest soon enough!" Liana said as the elevator came down and she stepped in, with Tannis in her grasp, as she walked in and pressed the button for the third floor, and took the ride up to the floor, and when the doors opened she stepped out and walked up to her apartment door.

Tannis stayed calm in Liana's arms the entire time, Tannis felt safe and secure in this girls arms but for the life of her she couldn't figure out why. "Um what are you going to do to me when we get to your room?" Tannis suddenly asked as the question just popped into her mind "I mean i'm thankful that you saved me but i should let you know that i'm legally crazy" Tannis said figuring Liana had the right to know.

"Well figured i would let you rest up and get better, and after that i don't really know" Liana answered the girls question, she had only brought her here, because the girl seemed scared and hurt, also Luci would never let it go if she left the girl there after taken such a liking to the girl.

Truth be told, Liana enjoyed the girl a little, an uncanny thing for the Serpent, because she was not the kind to take to a lot of people, but Tannis was kinda an exception, when Liana heard that Tannis was crazy, she raised an eyebrow, "So?...what kind of crazy?...Dingo ate my baby crazy? or....just talking to yourself crazy?" Liana asked, as she looked down on the girl and walked into her apartment, carrying the girl over to her bed, and placing her down gently.

Tannis felt relieved when Liana said she was just going to let her rest but when she asked what type of crazy she was Tannis answered "Well i see mini versions of myself and they talk to me and i talk back" Tannis however didn't mention the mini Josey that had appeared recently as she thought that if she ignored that mini personality it would go away. Tannis sat up on the bed and looked at Liana "I've actually never told anyone that, not even the doctors who kept me locked up"

"so...just the talking to yourself?...huh then...that should be no problem" Liana said as she patted Tannis on her head and took a step back, " As long as you don't kill me in my sleep...we should be fine" Liana said with a little joking smile, not really worried about the crazy girl, she wondered why she was opening up to her, just as much as she wondered herself, "Well...good then...it's always good to open up to someone" Liana said as she looked on as Luci slithered up to Tannis shoulder.

Tannis grimaced alittle when Liana moved to pat her head but when she just felt the gentle tap on her head Tannis felt relieved. "Well i don't think i could kill you in your sleep because that would leave Lucifer here with out a home" Tannis said trying to make a joke but it would come off as kinda creepy. "Yeah it did feel kinda good" Tannis said before reaching up and patting Luci on the head.

Liana was not sure what to do when Tannis made her kind of creepy joke....at least she hoped it was a joke, it sounded weird, " Well it won't just be Lucifer..that will be out of a home..." Liana said as she stood up and walked off a little, out of the room for a few seconds, before she came back with three snakes wrapped around her, one around each arm and the other hanging on her shoulders.

"Here we got Ozymandias...my little king....." Liana said gesturing to the snake around her left arm, " this is...Orochi...my little Cron Snake" Liana said as she gestured to her smaller snake, around her right arm.

"And this is is...Basilisk!" Liana said as she gestured to the large Boa around her shoulders, "He is the boss around here after me!....but where is....huh....he should be somewhere around here."
