I want your thoughts on a new Fantasy fighting tournament

Hmm well I think I am in, as for setting and such, I guess I would ask how much or how little magic would be in, for example will it be Eragon magic where it's fire and all kinds of things, or will it be Lord of the rings magic that is more mysterious and doesn't really work for a rpg type of thing.

another question for setting, only European medieval or ? maybe put in like Chinese and Japanese medieval ages, or something like that, that way one can create a variety of different characters and such, using mythology and fantasy from different cultures.

Just as an example, say I want to make a character, I want her to be....let's say and elf....she is going to be quick and strong, and skilled with daggers, and let's say i want her to have some kind of magic, how about wind magic, maybe make her sword slashes or dagger thrusts amplified with magic, lets also say she has a limit of how much magic she can use, and how powerful it can be.

I'm thinking since it's fantasy, you can do whatever kinds of things you want. Western, Eastern, it should all be avaliable.

Magic I'm kinda iffy about, mainly because it can get overpowered very quickly. It should be ok if the power level of the magic isn't too much. Like you can use it to enhance abilities, maybe offensively a little, but nothing that would shatter mountains or kill someone instantaneously. Keep things simple and fun, is what I mean.

So will this involve things other than wrestling? Like sword fighting and what not? Or inhuman people?

Since it's fantasy, yes it will involve sword-fighting and non-humans, though try not to get any weirder than Lamias. And the tournament will involve more serious fighting styles than wrestling, I think. I mean, I'm certainly not gonna try and wrestle with a sword-wielding elf warrior lol.
