Sitting alone backstage in an empty lock room was the notorious blonde-haired, alcoholic, scallywag, Clyde Gastin. He sat quietly on a nearby bench in the room, taping up a sore bicep that he had obtained following a car accident the previous day with his lover, Heather Sunderland. Which they managed to walk out of with only minor cuts and bruises. Or in Clyde's case, his body was extremely sore now, having endured A TLC Match, a 2/3 falls match with Cecilia Northman, and an all-out fight with Heather that eventually led to a night of passionate love making after enduring a violent crash in Heather's car that tossed him around the interior of her vehicle like a rag doll. He had endured all of this within the past 48 hours and was not about to participate in a Hardcore Match for the 24/7 Title. His body was battered and the odds were against him, but he couldn't turn down an opportunity like this. This was his chance to be a champion on his own.

"...I can do this... I ain't no loser..." Clyde muttered to himself as he finished taping his arm up before he reached for a nearly empty bottle of whiskey, downing what was left before he carelessly threw away the bottle and let it brake on the locker room floor, pounding his fist against a wall before storming out into the backstage area, going towards the Entrance Stage.

Although he had gotten a bit of Wrestling and some MMA Training from Zero Kotobuki a few weeks ago, Clyde was still the underdog and expected to lose against a another brawler by the name of, Catelyn Cormac, whom Clyde had never met or heard of before. He didn't have much time to prepare for this match, but that didn't bother him. He had gone through so much in the past 7 days, he felt nothing else could be any worse and didn't fear the possibility humiliation or injury in this match-up. The only thing Clyde cared about was winning, becoming a champion and proving his worth to the world, to anyone who ever doubted him, to his Mother back home in Texas, To his sister Bonnie, to Heather and to himself that he was among the best in AFW. The Texan was determined to either Win The Belt or Go Down Fighting.

As the main event was announced to the sold-out crowd in Kyoto, Japan; they would remain peaceful and quiet until the screechy sounds a distorted electric guitar would be heard playing in the arena. Clyde walked closer to the ring in front of him, seeing a ton of weapons scattered on the arena floor. He would make his way to the ring however, slid himself in and walk to his corner, awaiting the arrival of his opponent while he rotated his right arm. "Awww Baby, here we go!" Clyde exclaimed eagerly, ready for his battle with Catelyn and throw-down for the title.

Catelyn Cormac sat on a bench in the locker room, doubting that this moment was real and not a dream, she had gotten a title shot, but she wondered why she of all people would get one, she hadn't started out in AFW with the best record, but she had still gotten a title shot, and she couldn't be happier about it, she loved that she had gotten some recognition, but still she wondered if she was just chosen to make this Clyde guy look good or something, if she was chosen to take a fall for him, she had no idea who he was or why she would take a fall for him, if that was what was expected of her, she had no intentions of doing so even if she had been asked, but still she had been chosen in a hurry, just a few days before the match she had gotten a call from some high up person In the AFW, who told her she was going to have the chance to compete for the 24/7 title, she had to compete in a Falls count anywhere match, there was no way to be disqualified, It would be a hardcore match, and a winner could only be declared by an pinfall or submission, Cat liked the idea of the match.

She was sure that this would be a tough match, but she still had to win, to show everybody that Catelyn Cormac was a force to be reckoned with, and that she was going to be the next big thing here, and this was just the chance she needed to prove her worth, if she could take this belt she would be recognized as a champion, she would show everyone that she was not a pushover, she jumped up from the bench, the thought of actually becoming a champion had stirred a fire in her heart, she walked out of the locker room with fierce determination out to the hallway and began to make her way to the curtains right before the entrance ramp, she waited for this Clyde guys music to die down, and awaited her own.

When she heard the first line "Baptist in Fire 40 to 1" of her music [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSz1eZXpMKY:p2gdjdvh]40:1 by Sabaton[/url:p2gdjdvh] her new theme, she had chosen it to symbolize her new attitude and how she would be in the ring, she jumped out from the curtains and showed herself of to the crowd, wearing her usual outfit, a black bikini top with a flame motive, a pair of black hot pants, light pink stockings, white boots and a pair of black fingerless gloves, the left one being a very long glove and right being a mostly normal one, her long fiery red hair tied into a long ponytail, she stretched out her arms and basked in the glorious cheers of the crow, she didn't know how many cheered and how many didn't, all she cared about was that she seemed to have a great deal of support, she waited a second and clenched her fist and jumped up, when she landed on her feet again, pyrotechnics went of to the left and right and she began to jog down to the ring, moving towards the crowed to give a few of the fans a few high fives and quick handshakes, as she then sprinted in towards the ring and made and jumped in and slid herself in under to bottom rope, giving a few waves to the crowd before moving back towards her corner.

As Catelyn's theme song begins to blast through the speakers in the arena, Clyde to lightly bob his head forth in sync with the constant face-paced beat of the drums. While the song wasn't exactly his personal preference, he seemed to enjoy it enough with his light head-banging and foot tapping. He was starting to miss his own theme song though, he really liked that song and felt that it described a bit of his life, along with the kind of person that he is.

Clyde kept his gaze fixated on the entrance stage and saw Catelyn appear, a bit started by how attractive his opponent was, she was definitely easy on the eyes. He couldn't help but wonder though, if he'd be able to manage using brutal hardcore tactics against her, Clyde would try to disregard these thoughts however and keep himself focused on winning at all costs. He hated to admit though, he was a bit jealous by many fans were actually cheering for her, but Clyde figured they were probably only doing that because of how physically attractive she was, which Clyde didn't really blame them for.

He would remained leaning against the corner as Catelyn slid inside the ring, keeping his head low and his hat tucked over his eyes, wanting to keep to himself and keep this match all business for the night. But as the ref-girl called forth the competitors to the center of the ring to shake hands, Clyde lifted himself off the turnbuckle and walked to the center of the ring, knowing that he would meet his opponent there and that he might as well introduce himself now.

Once he reached the center, Clyde would tilt his hat up a bit and grin casually at Cat before extending his hand. "Good Luck, Missy!" Clyde would say to Cat in a friendly manner, even though he wasn't even bothering with introducing himself.

As Cat went to met what she could only describe as a cowboy in the center of the ring, she was surprised he didn't introduce himself, all she thought was if she was supposed to throw the match, why would she do so for this gut, she couldn't say he looked like anything special, as she looked o him for a moment before she extended her hand to met his hand and shake it, "Good luck to you as well.....Name's Catelyn...but call me Cat" Cat said as she clumsily tired to get some kind of introduction out before the match started, before she would back away a bit.

She couldn't believe how many people seemed to be cheering for her now that she actually thought about it, it felt great, there was no way she was supposed to throw the match, if these many people seemed to like her, she was still kinda hung up on the fact that she thought she was supposed to throw the match for this guy, with no reason for her to think that except for her not having the greatest start in AFW, but she quickly pushed that thought out of her head, when the bell rang, Cat bolted into her fighting stance, as if it was a reflex.

She looked on at Clyde, as she would begin to circle the cowboy, her fist up in shoulder height, as she kept her eyes on him waiting for him to make the first move, she was not going to be careless in this match, since there was a title at stake, she wasn't sure how good he was, so she would have to feel him out for a while to get an understanding of who she was fighting.

As Clyde went to shake Catelyn's hand, he continued to smile at her before breaking it, ready to turn around and get to fighting. But he is soon stopped once she introduces herself, which made Clyde realize that he hadn't done the same.

"Oh! Well...uh... Nice to meet ya, Cat... Im Clyde, Clyde Gastin." The Texan would say with a nervous smile before turning back to his corner, leaving his hat on the ring steps before going back to the center to meet Cat as the bell rang.

Clyde saw that Cat was getting into a fighting stance rather than a wrestling one, which surprised him for a moment before he got into his. Putting left arm out in front, letting his fist hang directly in front of his rib cage while his right fist laid beside his jaw, constantly moving his arms up and down while bouncing lightly on his feet, a real unorthodox stance, almost amateur looking, having no help in developing it what so ever.

Clyde was watching Cat carefully as she circled him, staring intensely at her while he clinched his fists tightly before he tried to step up towards her and instantly throw a wild and sloppy but fast and powerful right hook. His technique was ugly, but he had plenty of power behind it to make up for it.

Cat looked on at the unorthodox stance Clyde had gotten in, surprised by the way he moved and a bit curious over how this guy would fight, she kept her gaze on the Texan, not letting him escape her eye sight.

As they got closer, Clyde made his move, the sloppy and wild punch looked easy to catch or move out of the way of as she saw a glimpse of the fist flying at her, she was however surprised as the fist connected with her cheek, the powerful blow made her stagger and her head was rattling, the punch was faster than she had expected and more powerful as well, she almost felt a bit dizzy by punch, she would quickly shake it off and quickly step towards Clyde.

Reeling back a fist as she would throw a clean, straight and powerful fist at the Cowboys face in retaliation.

Just as Clyde threw a hard right hook at Catelyn, he would smirk in triumph as his punch connected with her cheek and caused her to stagger, seeing her head get rattled by the blow. He was honestly just about to follow up on Catelyn until he felt a sharp pain suddenly jolting into his right bicep.

"Fuck!!" Clyde thought to himself as he winced in pain, his arm starting to ache for a moment before the pain went away, looking back at Catelyn as he sees her reeling her fist back. Clyde would try to block the blow as best he could but wouldn't be able to save himself from taking the punch straight to the bridge of his nose.

"Gahh!!!" Clyde would wince as he gritted his teeth, staggering back a bit before trying to shake off the hit by releasing a huff of air from his nose.

"Not Bad..." Clyde would comment to Catelyn before he would then try to step back up towards Catelyn and try to throw a hard right uppercut to her stomach, hoping the pain in his arm wouldn't affect him too much.

Cat was not a girl to be taken lightly, she moved nowhere after her punch had hit, she only looked at the guy, still she found herself a bit concerned as it looked like he was going to come at her with a punch but didn't.

"Don't hold back on me alright..." Cat said as she gave Clyde a smile, she would begin to move in towards him ready to send a few punched at him.

But before she knew it Clyde sent a uppercut right against her stomach, driving the air out of her lungs as she was forced on her tippy toes, Cat wasn't out yet, as she would quickly take a step back and attempt to grab at Clyde's head and froce it down a tiny bit, before attempting to send a knee strike at his gut.

Clyde kept his gaze fixated on Cat the entire time, giving her a stern and focused look as he prepared to make his next move. But as Catelyn spoke, Clyde looked up with a hint of surprise on his face, slightly startled for a moment as he is awoken from his focused state of mind.

"Uh... Y-Yeah, Yeah..." Clyde would stammer before shaking his head, forming a slight grin before he spoke again. "Heh... Don't You worry bout me! Clyde Gastin never holds back! And you better do the same!" He yells over to her with a competitive grin before focusing himself again as Catelyn made her move, which Clyde countered by stepping up quick before throwing swift uppercut to Catelyn, which dug into her stomach and sent her onto her tippy toes. The crowd would respond to the heavy hit with a loud 'Oooooooh!' as Clyde nailed Cat in her abdomen.

"Damn!" Clyde would exclaim almost joyfully as his punch rocked Cat, slightly amused by her reaction and happy to know that his attacks could deal big damage to his opponent.

But before Clyde knew it, Cat was already counter-attacking as she took a step back and suddenly grabbed Clyde's head and forced it down before she delivered a hard knee strike to his gut. "Ughh!!" Clyde would cough out in pain as air was knocked out of his lungs while releasing some spit from his mouth, stunned by the hit Cat gave him.

Cat had almost no air in her lungs after Clyde's uppercut, she made a quick decision to make a move while she could and recover after it hit, quite risky but still, her knee strike seemed to have gone home, and made the cowboy cough, so now was the time to act, even if it wouldn't be her best move ever.

Cat would quickly try and tuck Clyde's head in under her armpit and wrap her arm around it, before she would quickly jump and fall backwards attempting to drive the cowboys head into the mat with a DDT, If it hit, Cat would roll away from Clyde and get up to her knees, and take a few heavy and needed breaths, holding one arm across her stomach, as she felt pain, and even a red mark had appeared from Clyde's hit.

"You..Really know how to throw a punch..." Cat would say as she looked over at Clyde, as she would begin to rise to her feet and get into her fighting stance.
