Adrian all but collapsed on the bed afterwards, Rebecca trying to keep a serious demeanor but failing as a look of relief washed over her. "So how did it go?" she asked, sitting down gently nest to Adrian, moving her head onto her lap.

"I drank... a lot." Adrian replied, failing to count the drinks.

"I meant the match, idiot." She half scolded, half joked.

"I won! I think... gonna have to check the tapes to see if I did pull it off. But yeah, Cecilia was cool with it and I didn't even cheat that much!" She said, beaming up at Rebecca, her eyes starting to close

"Good...you're okay, that's the most important thing." She said softly as her friend fell asleep. Maybe she was too harsh on Cecilia, but for now: Adrian needed to sleep. "and you have got to stop bringing your singles opponents home with you."
