Questioning Sarah

Stephanie was only getting more and more worked up, even breaking Sarah's nose wasn't making her happy, which was unusual since the redhead always got her moods lift by breaking someone's nose. She lifted her fist one more preparing another punch but Naoko stoped her with a gesture.

"enough" was all that Naoko said. Stephanie groaned but did as she was told. Letting Sarah's hair go, Steph stepped back and Naoko moved closer. The Japanese gangster, pressed the lit cigarrette on Sarah's left hand to turn it off.

"I am going to ask this just one more time, Sarah. What you know about this one-eyed woman?"

Sarah prepared herself for the punch as best she could from her bad position, shutting her eyes and gritting her teeth. She was surprised when nothing came. It seemed like the only thing that could stop Stephanie after such taunting was Naoko. Though Sarah wasn't sure who she should be more worried about.

When her hair was released Sarah's head drooped to her chest with a groan. She breathed heavily, her nostrils clogged with blood, making breathing difficult. She was close to passing out, but when naoko stubbed out her cigarette on Sarah's hand she was brought clawinjg back to reality. Sarah screamed through gritted teeth, her eyes watering from the pain.

When it was over Sarah wasa again left panting heavily, the back of her hand burned and singed. "God dammit," Sarah snarled, coughing a bit of blood as her head hung low. "I told you already. I don't know anything!"

"...lets chop some of her fingers..." Naoko said with the same cold dead tone she always spoke. "Ok..." answered Stephanie, who couldn't hide that she was actually going to enjoy it. The sound of a metal blade could be clearly heard as Stephanie produced a sushi cleaver.

"...take the right thumb first..." Naoko instructed and Stephanie simply nodded and grabbed Sarah's right hand and make the thump poke out as she slowly brought the cleaver against the finger, right below the second knuckle.

sarah's eyes widened at what Naoko said, waondering if she was serious, but from the sound of the blade being prepared Sarah could tell that she was. She immdiately started struggling, trying to find some way out of the binds, or to keep her hands away from the girls, but both proved to be useless. Sarah's ight thumb was set to be chopped right off.

Sarah's breathing increased to a steady pace, showing true signs of fear creeping up on her. "You're out of your fucking mind," Sarah growled. "I swear to almighty God that I will kill you for this!!"

"Is that so?" asked Naoko with an uninterested tone. She walked to Sarah and grabbed her prisoner's hair, pulling it back so make Sarah look up into her cold expressionless eyes. Naoko moved one finger on Sarah's face, playing with the blood that was coming from the Queen of Brawl nose and mouth. "You are a very dangerous woman, Sarah Gatt. I respect you. Your threats are not to be taken lightly... And since you are being of no use to me... I believe it would be better to kill you now that I have the chance... Rather than risk regretting it later on..." Naoko said and then moved her now blood coated long nailed finger to her mouth and sucked Sarah's lifeblood, and moaned softly, showing for the first time a glimpse of emotion, delight.

Stephanie was holding Sarah's thump with one hand now and pressed the blade below the second knuckle, making a deep cut that was closing to the bone. She looked at Naoko slightly worried, but trying to hide it. The redhead yakuza had understood they were just trying to scare Sarah, all this talk about choping a finger and killing her was supposed to be a bluff... But now that she saw Naoko, she was getting more than a little scared. Murdering Sarah after kidnapping her in front of a full crowd would be way too stupid. Did her Japanese friend had lost her mind? She certainly didn't seemed like herself since her father's murder. Stephanie kept the blade digging in Sarah's flesh, but didn't pushed it further, gulping as she saw Naoko licking Sarah's blood of her finger.

Sarah grunted as she was once again grabbed by her red hair, forced to look up into her tormentor's cruel eyes. She hated this woman. hated her with every fiber of her being. She wanted nothing more than to break free of her binds and teach both these bitches what it mwant to be tough, but of course that was impossible. She grimaced as her blood was sampled and licked by Naoko.

Being forced to look at Naoko Sarah didn't see Stephanie start to cut at her thumb until the pain struck her like a lightening bolt. Sarah screamed bloody murder as she cut deeper and deeper, blood spurting from the open wound. The pain was like nothing Sarah had felt before. So bad was it that tears started to leak from the corners of the Queen of Brawl's eyes.

When Stephanie stopped Sarah slumped into her chair, completely spent. She looked like a complete mess. The Yakuza duo had really done a number on her. More than even Sarah could handle. Sarah choked back a sob as Stephanie kept the blade in the open wound. Any further and Sarah would surely lose the finger. "F-Fuck.....fuck you...." Sarah whispered, her bloodshot eyes glaring weakly at Naoko. Even in the face of such pain, Sarah would not go out like a bitch.

Naoko gave Sarah a sinister smile and let a switch blade slip from one of the sleeves of her white trench-coat into her hand making the blade spring out with a characteristic metallic sound. She ran her fingers on Sarah's hair as if she was caressing the redhead and then grabbed a firm hold pulling it back to make Sarah expose her vulnerable throat fully. The Japanese gangster had a glimpse of madness in her eyes. She ran the blunt cold side of the blade against Sarah windpipe and then lowered her head to kiss Sarah's lips as she turned the blade to place the edge against the Queen of Brawl's throat ready to slice it.

Seeing that her friend was seemed determined to end Sarah's life, Stephanie dropped the cleaver and grabbed hold of Naoko's arm before she could but draw a little blood. The Japanese yakuza wannabe was pulled back forcefully by her redhead partner who had stood up and had dragged her away from Sarah. Naoko stared at Stephanie coldly as she tried to pull the knife wielding arm free, but the redhead held it firmly and stared back into the Japanese girl's eyes.

"Let...me...go..." Naoko said calmly at the suddenly defiant redhead, but Stephanie held her arm until Naoko finally stepped back pulling it away. Stephanie wanted to have a serious talk with Naoko, but she felt it would be better to do it in private, so she turned around and aimed a vicious fist to Sarah's face, trying to knock the brawler down, along with the chair, and out so she couldn't hear them.

THe sound of a switchblade being drawn was a very familiar sound to Sarah, and her eyes widened when the blade sprung out from the handle. It was then that Sarah realized that she was about to die. All of the stupid decisions she had made in life had led up to this moment. All the violence, all the drinking, all the fighting; how could it lead to anything else? Sarah winced when her hair was yanked back, fully exposing her throat to the blade. She shivered as the flat side was run across her skin, and accepted her fate then and there. So long, cruel world, Sarah thought dismally, and shut her eyes tight to await the inevitable slash.

But apparently it was inevitable. The blade suddenly was removed from sarah[s throat, daring to open her eyes and dound her savior was none other than the red headed Stephanie. Sarah released the breath she had been holding, looking to Stephanie in confusion when she turned to her, only to be smacked in the face once again.

Crying out Sarah's chair tipped over from the hit, and Sarah collapsed sideways onto the floor with a loud crash. Unlike what Stephanie wanted, Sarah remained conscious, but groaned lowly in pain. She wanted to clutch her head, but unfortunately her hands were still bound. But just when sarah was thinking this, she realized that the fall had loosened the ropes on one of her hands, specifically the hand with the finger that had nearly been chopped off. Her eyes widened. This was her chance! With renewed determination Sarah started to shake the arm side to side to loosen it further, though discreetly so as not to alert Naoko and Stephanie.

Naoko and Stephanie stood one in front of the other like two statues looking into each other's eyes intensely. Although their bodies didn't moved save for breathing there was enough tension between them to make it seem as if they were both shivering. Both yakuza girls were badly surprised with the other. Naoko confused as to why Stephanie had dared to stop her, and Stephanie shocked by her friend going wild... and try to murder Sarah.

After a couple of minutes of silently staring into each others eyes, Stephanie finally spoke. "You can't kill her..." the redhead said, panting. "Too many people saw us take her away..." she explained noticing Naoko's left broweye raising as if asking 'why?'.

Naoko frowned for a second but then she realized her friend was right. "She is going to be trouble..." the dark haired girl said coldly.

"Dead will be more trouble..." Stephanie answered. Naoko and her were in no way law-abiding citizens, but the redhead still felt murdering was a little too much. "She isn't worthy it." the irish girl added trying to convince Naoko, who seemed to be calming down, recovering from the sudden bloodlust that had overcame her earlier.

"Fine..." said Naoko with a sigh as she approached Sarah. "But the bitch knows about my father's murderers" she added placing a boot on Sarah's face to press it down, resisting the urge to snap the brawlers neck.

"I'm not so sure..." Stephanie said. "I get the feeling she is just an asshole... A very stubborn asshole..." she added. "... And anyway... If she knows something...there are other ways to find out... Maybe we could get someone close to her." Stephanie concluded with a smile.

Naoko groaned in agreement and then turned around, picking her knife she started walking towards the exit. "OK... I think I know who can help us with that... Lets get out of here."

As Sarah struggled to get out of her binds she listened in to Naoko and Stephanie's conversation. Stephanie seemed dead set against murdering Sarah, something Sarah was pretty happy about, but Naoko still seemed pretty ready to end the Queen of Brawl's life. Sarah wasn't about to lay around and find out what their decision what, and redoubled her efforts to get free. She shook her arm side to side, until finally it came loose from the ropes. That was one arm free at least.

Sarah was about to set to work on the other when Naoko suddenly stepped down on her head. Sarah groaned in pain as her skull was pressed down against the floor. It was just as humiliating as it was painful. Sarah winced in pain, but through teary eyes she saw something that caught her attention. It was the knife Stephanie had used to nearly sever Sarah's thumb from her hand, still wet with her own blood, laying on the floor where Stephanie had thrown it.

When Naoko removed her foot Sarah knew this was the moment to make her move. She reached out for the knife, wondering if this really was a good idea. Those thoughts were quickly cast aside when Stephanie mentioned getting someone close to her. Thoughts of Rika, Nha and Sha, and even Akashi flashed through her mind. She wasn't about to let them go through what she did tonight.

As soon as Sarah's hand grasped the handle of the knife, she would swing it backwards towards Naoko as she was walking away, aiming to drive it into the back of her thigh.
