Joey Jericho vs. Songbird

Songbird was quite impressed on how Joey was able to handle that attack. She soon found herself being pushed backwards and on her way to the corner. As she was stumbling backwards, she had an idea. She would try to roll on her back and kick Joey in the stomach to throw him off and let his back hit the corner.

Joey's eyes widened it seemed like Songbird's moved had worked his back hit the turnbuckle although that wasn't all since they were pretty close there wasn't the impact to thrust him back out. The force made one of his legs snap back his foot hooking against the cornerpole. Now suspended upside down in the corner he tried to raise his body into a better position before The pink haired woman had time to react.

Seeing that her move had worked, Songbird would get up and quickly get to Joey to aim for several hard punches to the stomach while he's still upside down. If that worked, then she would try to charge herself at that very stomach.

Joey wasn't surprised when Songbird had gotten to him rather quickly. He felt the punches in his stomach the air beingf drove out of him with each punch she delivered although that wasn't the worse thing. Shemoved back his eyes wideneding as he shook his hands infront of him almost in a way to get her to stop. It was too late though She crashed into his stomach making him let out a cough as he gasped for air. His arms collapsing to the mat.

After the crash into his stomach, Songbird would go for Joey's legs and pull him off of the turnbuckle to get him to the center of the ring. If this worked, then she would try to sit on his back, get his legs under her arms, and apply a boston crab.

Joey's body collasped to the floor as Songbird unhooked his legs, he let out a groan as he felt her dragging him into the center of the ring althoguh she didn't really need to since it was an anything goes which meant no ropebreaks. It wasn't long before he was subject to a boston crab letting out a cry in pain as she applyed pressure. He tried to use his arms to raise his body off the floor in an attempt to relieve the pressure she was applying.

Songbird felt Joey lift himself up to try and relieve the pressure, but she would try to apply a little more. But since she didn't want the match to end just yet, she would release Joey from the submission after a few more moments and would back off to give him some time to recover.

Joey felt the pressue increase a little before it faded as Sngbird let go of his legs He pushed himself up to his feet one of his hands laying on his back. This wasn't really goibng according to plan. Well Joey's at least. He turned around to face Songbird inviting her for a lock up. Maybe this kind of move would be something he could turn this match around with.

Songbird would once again go for the lock up, but this time, she wanted to see what Joey's capable of. "Rough start for ya eh, Joey?" She would maintain her strength at a normal level and didn't want to be overpowering against Joey.

Joey let out a growl rough start indeed although Songbird didn't have to point that out he had experienced it after all. "What do yuo think?" he replied rolling his eyes as he went for an irish whip into the corner. It would be a little more restricted there. If that was successful he would charge in going for a spear to both knock their air out of her and pinn her in place.
