[Rampage] Karina vs Megumi

It hadn't been long before Karina's sudden uprising begun, displaying raw strength and zero compassion towards her opponents, she quickly climbed back up the ranks of threats. Karina was backstage, practicing silently on her guitar, her fingertips idly grazing over the strings of the instrument while Akuma was watching her with her arms folded within her sleeves. It was amusing for her to watch Karina's change. Karina's strength was truly fascinating for her, the way she fought, how angry she could get or even how concentrated and silent she turned if she was facing a smart and quick opponent, it was Akuma that managed to develop Karina into a lethal beast.. All that she wished for her was her protection as she went.

" Tonight is your final test, Karina.. You have to fight the one you love. " Akuma smirked, staring off at the entrance while the staff member gave them the thumbs up, this would be an entertaining match to see, how Karina would react towards Megumi and how it would turn out, there was still so many things she wished to experience from Karina.

When the theme song started, Karina automatically got up and gave the guitar to Akuma, walking to the entrance and stepping out without a moment's hesitation. She walked down the ramp, giving no regards to the crowd around her. Whether they were here to cheer or see her fall, it all didn't matter to her. She rolled inside the ring while Akuma walked around the ring and waiting outside the corner Karina was as usual, watching her stretching and get ready for this match.

" Remember, Karina.. Wrestling only, best her at her own game. "

Karina nodded as a reply, resting back against the corner and looking towards the ramp Megumi would walk down of, mixed feelings running in her mind but only with one destination.. To prove that she was the merciless beast.

Megumi seemed surprisingly relaxed backstage, lazing about on a bench. She didn't seem worried that she was facing a known heel at all, but that was mostly because she knew Karina well, and thought that there was no way the girl would hurt her. They were friends, they were even lovers. Megumi knew that Karina had lots of issues, and she was glad to help the girl work her way through them.

She stepped out onto the ramp, sparks shooting up into the air as her music played. Megumi raised her fist, allowing the crowd's cheers to fill the entire arena. She walked with pride and resolve down the ramp, moving towards the ring.

Megumi stepped into the ring, sliding through the ropes, giving the crowd one final wave before turning towards Karina. Megumi noticed something wrong about her. Karina looked fierce and angry, as usual, but there was something more primal about all this, she looked like she was out to kill. This unsettled Megumi. She narrowed her eyes, before trying to smile at Karina.

"Hey, long time no see," Megumi said, "How have you been Karina? I wish we didn't have to meet here, in the ring."

Like it fell on dead ears. Karina did not reply to Megumi, merely staring at her as if she was watching prey, food that would not quench the thirst for violence.. Despite Karina not speaking, Akuma did however, who was mostly the ' messenger ' that translated the Beast's emotions towards her emotions, or perhaps it's some kind of code that helped Karina co-ordinate in the ring. There was no real evidence of either though.

" I'm afraid she does not like you anymore, Megumi. She's here to really hurt you. "

Akuma smiled almost innocently up at Megumi, watching the girl infront of Karina, it was easy to co-ordinate and speak from outside the ring but that didn't really matter to her.. She couldn't wait for this match to start, shifting her eyes back to Karina.

" Karina, you know what to do. "

Karina pushed off the corner, gripping her black fingerless leather gloves and cracking her head from side to side to get a better feeling in her neck before she rubbed the sides of it, waiting for the bell to ring.

Megumi turned to glare at Akuma. "So, I'm guessing you're responsible for this then," Megumi said coldly, "I knew just from looking at her that Karina wasn't all right. But that's ok. I'll beat some sense back into her."

Seeing Karina starting to move, Megumi quickly shifted into her fighting stance as well, moving forward towards Karina. "I don't know what happened to you Karina," Megumi said, "But just remember, I was once your friend, and I still am." With that, Megumi would suddenly step forward, sending a kick at the back of Karina's thigh to trip her and make her fall to the mat!

Karina gave Megumi no words to work with, gripping her fingerless gloves to make sure they were tight enough, she wanted a solid grip on the girl once she is able to grab her. Even the words Megumi gave, which no doubt came from her heart, Karina did not listen to them, all she wanted was more violence..

Karina did not move when the kick came to her thigh. It did sting right away but it did not bring Karina down, instead she kept her gaze fixated upon Megumi and bended forward, like she was ready to fall. Then came the suddenly leap, trying not to use the leg that was just attacked and tried to spear Megumi right down onto the mat.

Megumi's kick didn't do much damage to Karina, it seemed, though Megumi could tell that Karina's leg stung from that kick. Karina suddenly leaped forward, tacking Megumi in the gut. Megumi grunted, falling over onto her back. But she quickly rolled with the motion, kicking her legs up into Karina's gut as well, then pushing up and trying to flip Karina over in a monkey flip!

Karina wanted to continue her attacks upon Megumi's body, which the best leverage she had. Still, Megumi managed to get her from doing that, being flipped over Megumi and falling upon her own back, grunting from the impact but immidiatly getting upon her feet and turning to face Megumi.

Karina did not want the girl to have complete freedom in this match, so if Megumi wanted to get back up, she quickly tried to bring her arms around Megumi's waist and pulling her clean off her feet for a tight bearhug.

Megumi sat up and quickly got to her feet, turning around to find Karina charging at her. She caught Megumi flat-footed, catching her in the bearhug before Megumi had a chance to respond. As Karina hugged Megumi tightly, pulling her up off her feet, Megumi quickly counterattacked. She wasn't to let Karina get any more of an advantage over her!

Megumi raised her arms, and clapped Karina around the temples. She hoped that it would stun Karina enough for her to break the hold and release her, while stunning her enough as well for Megumi to counterattack!

Karina squeezed with all her might, really looking to crush Megumi. However, the girl proved to be quite a nuisance and her counter proved effective against Karina, who released Megumi and brought her hands to her head to hold it. Karina took a few steps back to recreate the distance they once had, trying to focus and go back in the offensive but she was completely open to any counter attack.

Megumi stumbled back a step when Karina released her. The bearhug hurt, even though it wasn't held for very long. Megumi quickly regained her air though. Seeing Karina holding her head and backpedaling, Megumi quickly went on the counteroffensive. There wouldn't be any better time than this to put the hurt on her.

Megumi ran forwards, before jumping up into the air. She kicked her leg upwards, aiming to drive her foot hard right into Karina's chin, hoping to stun the girl a bit more with that attack!
