Everything is in black and white. The piano introduction begins. The TV screen appears to flicker on and off. About 15 seconds in, a silhouette of a woman appears in the distance. Her hair is in a ponytail and she seems to be wearing some sort of mask. The TV continues to flicker on and off again until about 27 seconds in. It is then that the eerie whistling starts up. The camera zooms towards the silhouette a bit. Light appears to be shining on the figure a bit, making it easier to see her. As we get closer we can see that she is wearing a leotard that seems to have barbed wire wrapped around it. About a minute into the promo, the whistling is suddenly interrupted by an electric guitar and we rush to the face of the masked woman. Everything is in color Her mask appears to be made of a black material and has bolts and barbed wire surrounding it, but they are obviously painted on. Her eyes are cold and expressionless, staring into the soul of the viewers, but this only lasts for about 20 seconds. Flames seem to be surrounding this mysterious masked one all the while.

As "Satin" is mentioned, an elegant purple mask is shown with a pink flower located on the side of her head. A set of red kissed lips can be found on the side of her face. The eyes are different as well. They appear to be pink and flirtatious.

As "Steel" is mentioned, we see the familiar mask from before, but this time with a silver-gray base. The bolts and barbed wire from before seem to be jutting from the mask itself. The cold steel expression of her face is even more accentuated now than before.

As "Silk" is mentioned, a full white mask is shown on the mysterious woman, letting only the eyes and mouth be seen. It is trimmed with golden lace around it. Her eyes are blue, kind, and heroic; her mouth with a light smile to it.

As "Leather" is mentioned, a blue luchadora mask covers her face (for the time being think Rey Mysterio, Jr.). The area around her eyes appears to have orange flames coming out the sides and upwards to the back a bit. Her expression is one of a serious luchadora.

As "They're the faces of a the stranger, but we love to try them on," is playing, the music and the picture fades out. At the final seconds of the 1:30 long promo, the screen is black and the name, "The Stranger" fades in in white.

Adrian munched on her snacks, watching the images flash on screen. "Barbed wire, masks...bolts... um... They made human-look alike robots? God dammit Japan!"
