Princess Nocturnal vs Cassie Elliot

Cassie had simmered down a little since her last match. She remembered why she was here, and had gone back to training hard and enjoying it. She didn't want to get so wrapped up in her pride that all she was doing was worrying about letting someone down.

Standing backstage she was more relaxed than usual. She was getting used to the crowd, so she wasn't quite so terrified. She had taken plenty of time to get warmed up and stretched out, and everything felt smooth and relaxed. Of course, there were still the pre-match jitters. Those were never going away, but mostly she was able to focus her nervousness into excitement. She tugged at the neck of her yellow and white suit and fixed the butt while she waited.

She slipped through the curtain and gave a wave to the crowd from the top of the ramp. The cheers that met her made her falter, she blushed, unsure of what to do. She tried raising her arms straight up over her head and wiggled her hips side to side a little, which brought more cheers. Beaming, she marched down the ramp and climbed up into the ring. She flopped onto her back in the middle and took a moment to stare at the lights. A few deep breaths and she'd be ready for another match.

Princess Nocturnal would come only when she was good and ready so it was quite a few moments from Cassie getting into the ring before Princess Nocturnal made her grand entrance; but when she did, it was indeed that... a grand entrance. Trumpets blared and then seamlessly fell into the tune that was Princess Nocturnal's entrance music

Princess Nocturnal stepped out onto the top of the rampway, her entire body drapped in her purple and white fur royal robe; a sceptor in one hand and a tiara on her head. She walked down to the ring with her nose turned up so high that Cassie could almost see the all of the underside of her chin, her eyes confidently closed as she glided down the rampway with her assistants holding up the trailing end of her robe.

When she got to the ring, her assitants took her robe for safe keeping... One of these assitants, insignificant enough to still not really have a determined gender, was foolish enough to allow the corner of the robe to touch the floor for a moment, earning a cross glare from the cross Princess and a stern whack over the head with the sceptor.

That being done, Princess Nocturnal strode up the stairs to the corner of the ring and waited on the apron of the ring for one of her assistants to follow her up and pull open the ropes so that she could step gracefully into the ring. Princess Nocturnal was dressed in her Princess uniform which was far to grand and majestic for Kelsea to describe and so heres a pic:

Cassie got back to her feet when her opponent was making her way down the ramp. Her smile faded a little and was replaced by confusion when she saw her. Her last opponent was a little odd. This one was... bizarre. Was she royalty or something? Why would royalty come wrestle in the AFW?

But this was the sort of thing she had learned to expect from AFW and the Friction roster. She didn't know if she wanted to know what sort of people were on the other AFW rosters... Still, it didn't change anything. This girl was a lot older and bigger, but that was nothing new. She would fight smart and hard and use her skills and hopefully neither of them would get hurt too badly. She was excited.

As the princess settled into the ring, Cassie marched and stood in front of her. She wasn't sure what to do, her mouth opened as if to say anything, her hand twitched at her side as if to wave. She smiled nervously, but then the nervousness melted away and she flashed a big grin before throwing her arms around the girl and giving her a big hug. With one last squeeze she separated again and backed up a couple steps.

"Hi! Um... I'm Cassie." She couldn't think of anything else to say, so she just nodded and smiled.

Princess Nocturnal didn't move away as cassie went in to hung her, but Cassie did feel that Nocturnal's body stiffened. Afterwards, as Cassie introduced herself, Princess Nocturnal cut her short with a curt raise of her gloved hand, not even looking at Cassie

"Silence!" She demanded before brushing her hands down the sides of her tight uniform and rearranging her hair. When she was good and ready, she spoke again.. Finally regarding Cassie with a stern look

"Whom do you think you are to lay hands upon the Princess Nocturnal without permission? By your outfit, I'd say you were another of them goody two shoe heroines... Your kind always have lack of proper etiquette!"

Cassie clammed up as the Princess asked. First she was shocked, but in a moment she broke into a huge, gleeful grin. She listened to the Princess.

She was confused. "This?" She said, craning to look down at her suit. "Oh, um, I made this myself. My mom took me to a sewing supply store and I bought some stuff online, and the boots I bought... where did I buy these?" She put a finger to her lips while she thought. "Well, anyway, I just wanted to hug you and hugging isn't against the law and everybody likes it anyway, soooo... You don't like hugging? Everybody likes to hug! We don't have to be all angry and serious like everyone else, we just like fighting, right? It's a sport and competition and we can just compete and be friends and it'll be great and if I win I'll help you up and give you a hug and it'll be great. Kaaaaay?"

With another giant grin, Cassie resisted the urge to hug her again and instead only bowed curtly. "And by the way, my kind is from Canada, annnnd, I guess you could say we lack etiquette." She laughed. "Are you a queen? Why are you a queen and wrestling? Isn't that weird? How long have you been wrestling? Do you make a lot of money doing this or is this just a hobby?"

Cassie would've been content to stand and chat and brutalize the Princess with questions all night, but the crowd was becoming anxious for a match.

...but the crowd was becoming anxious for a match... And Princess Nocturnal had no desire to make chit chat with this commoner. As Cassie went on and on, Princess Nocturnal covered her mouth and yawned, but it wasn't a tired yawn... It was more like an annoyed yawn, intentionally loud to draw attention to the fact that she was indeed yawning.

"I presume one would not know the meaning of the word silence, even if it strode up and sunk its teeth into one's derriere! ...I have no furhter intention of listening to another word of your lower class prattle. Now, bow down to my majesty..." With that, Princess Nocturnal struck out with a swift boot aimed upwards right at Cassie's stomach before the bell had sounded, intending to make Cassie double over.

Cassie was largely oblivious to the Princess' disinterest, but she clammed up when she snapped at her. She started to try to say something, like apologize or try to tell her she was being rude, but the Princess' kick caught her completely off guard.

The match hadn't started yet, so she wouldn't have really tried to counter the kick even if she had time to react. Since she didn't have time to react, the Princess' boot caught her squarely in the gut. She cried out in pain and surprise and doubled over and stumbled back a few steps from the force of the kick, and while clutching her stomach with both hands, she hurriedly backed away so she could have time to recover. She kept her eyes glued on her opponent. Now that she knew that this woman wasn't playing fair, she'd have to be extra careful.

The bell rang, the match officially started, and Cassie's percolating friendliness was set aside for the time while she focused on the fight. Her smile vanished, her eyes became intense, and while she was certainly not an imposing figure it was obvious that she meant business. Her adorability, though, remained unchanged.

Princess Nocturnal dropped her sceptor down at the corner of the ring and then made a grab for the back of Cassie's hair with both hands as she doubled over. The ref was about to warn the stuck up princess super villainess about hair pulling, but before she could Princess Nocturnal lifted Cassie's head up a bit by the hair and then tried to throw the Canadian down to the mat face first in a rather unglorified manner.

"Ack!"

Cassie flopped face first on the mat. She very quickly got the picture with this woman. She didn't want to be friends, and it was a fight and all, so maybe Cassie shouldn't be worrying about that.

She rubbed her cheekbone where it had bounced off the mat and frowned. She pulled her feet under her and pushed off to drive her shoulder into the Princess' midsection while hooking her arms around behind her legs. It'd be a lot harder for her to be such a pompous jerk when she was flopping around on her back like a fish.

Princess Nocturnal stood with one arm held just below her breast, her hand supporting the elbow of her other hand as she traced her index finger across her own cheek and examined her glorious work as she had already won.

"Now I think you are starting to see where you position should be as you are in the presence of royalty." She commented as Cassie was on her hands and knees before her. Princess Nocturnal had expected that in this match she would put Cassie on her hands and knees in front of her, but she hadn't quite predicted that it would be moments before the Canadian launched herself in a spear right into her stomach.

"Ugh!!" Princess Nocturnal coughed out deeply as the shoulder sunk right into her stomach, the back of her thighs wrapped around by Cassie's arms to ensure she fell backwards onto the mat with a thud
