Devoted Siblings

"It kind of feels like I'm heading back home..." Dante and Heather Sunderland are on the plane ride to the nation of Japan as Dante is staring out the window. He doesn't remember much from his time in Japan since he was brought over to America at such a young age, however he still gets the feeling that it is indeed his real home. He looks over at Heather with a big smile on his face "It's great isn't it?"

"I don't really know to be honest, I've actually never been," replies his sister Heather. She returns his smile regardless, not being able to ignore the contagiousness of his excitement. Deep down she is just as excited as he is though. She finally gets a chance to really showcase the skills she has been developing in the past three years. The main thing on her mind is all the fun that awaits her in the ring, and how many wins she can rack up for herself once she begins.

Dante turns back to the window still in amazement of returning home, his excitement a bit different from Heather's. He is glad that he will also be able to show off his technical prowess in the ring in a more major stage than he has before, however his attitude towards winning is a bit different. Winning isn't the main cause for him as he just wants to find other people with the same goals as he does. If he can show off his skills while also helping someone else rise to the top, then that's all the more better for him.

Heather keeps her gaze on her brother as she begins to feel almost sad that she can't share the same feeling of home as he can. She has no recollection of her original home. Never meeting her biological parents for more than the first few seconds of her birth, she has no ties to that old life of hers, not even her actual name. She thinks back to how was kept in an orphanage facility up until the age of 16 where she was given the name Heather without a last name. The reason for the length of time she lasted was because she always felt her original parents would come back to her in the end and refused to be taken up for adoption by any other parents. When the Nakata family came in one day, she couldn't ignore the genuine smile on the face of her now brother. It was something that she had never seen before after being surrounded by the fake smiles put on by the staff. This led to her finally giving up on her stubbornness and settling in with a family.

"What do you think your first match is going to be like?" Dante suddenly asks Heather the question as she snaps out of the trance she was in thinking of her past.

"Uuhm, well it doesn't really matter to be as long as I can get that rush of flying through the air and coming out with the victory in the end." She replies. Dante looks back at her and laughs a bit. "You know you're never going to get anywhere just focusing on high flying moves." He says to her. This annoys Heather a bit and she snaps back at him "Well YOU'RE never going to get anywhere with that ridiculous attitude you have towards your opponents. Why can't you just realize they are only there as an obstacle to your win and nothing else?"

Dante shakes his head a bit and sighs. They've had this same argument plenty of times with a variation of him trying to convince her of the importance of submission maneuvers. Being one year younger than she is, it's a bit tough to get his word across since she doesn't take much heed to it, but he tries as much as he can to get Heather to see his ways and attitude towards wrestling.

It's going to be a long journey for the two of them, as the plane finally arrives at the destination and the two devoted siblings head off to their target location.
