Hitomi Fujishima vs Cassie Elliot

Cassie was discovering new things about being beaten up. First, that she could take more shots than she would have thought and still be in the game, and also that it really, really sucked. This sort of concussive pain was something that older girls with more experience were probably used to. Her head was swimming. She might not remember everything she did at this point in the match, but her instincts to grab something and twist it were strong.

Hitomi's fists thudded against the top of her head and caused her to shrink away defensively. Instead of moving up to try to mount Hitomi, she kept hold of her leg. She wrapped her own legs around Hitomi's thigh, squeezing it between her knees to hold it still, and wrapped her arms around Hitomi's ankle. One hand pushed against Hitomi's instep and the other supported it. Cassie wasn't content to feel things out and judiciously apply pressure anymore. She just cranked on Hitomi's foot as hard as she possibly could, turning it to the outside and forcing the ankle and the knee to twist in ways they were not meant to.

Somewhat panicked, Cassie squeezed her eyes shut and silently mouthed the word "tap" over and over to herself. She wasn't worried about hurting Hitomi as much as she was about self preservation.

Even after those multiple punches Cassie didn't seem to want to let go. Now Hitomi was the one in a bad position. Cassie had her leg trapped, her hands tightly around Hitomi's ankle. Hitomi threw a quick punch at Cassie's legs to try and get her to let go, but that failed. Then Cassie began twisting Hitomi's ankle.

"AHH!" she shrieked. It seemed that Cassie was putting everything she had into this attack. Within seconds, Hitomi was lying on her back, screaming in pain, tears flowing from her eyes. Cassie really went too far with this move, putting so much pressure on Hitomi's ankle that it was going to be damaged for the rest of the match. Still, Hitomi did not submit. Rather, she sat back up, a twisted look of anger and pain on her face. Raising a fist, Hitomi would punch down on Cassie's kidneys, aiming to cause maximum pain in one hit.

Cassie cried out in pain. Hitomi still wasn't tapping, and while Cassie might be wrecking her joints, Hitomi was beating her up. In spite of herself her eyes started to tear up.

Her body recoiled away from Hitomi's punch, and after a second of being frozen in place by the pain Cassie started to roll. She tried to roll in the same direction that she was forcing Hitomi's foot, and she'd either be able to cause more damage or at least get Hitomi to roll with her... if she was rolling around she wasn't throwing punches. Cassie was getting desperate in her attempts to get Hitomi to stop hitting her and tap. Still, it would all be worth while when her hand was raised.

After the punch Hitomi felt a bit of pressure loosen, before Cassie started to roll off to the side, taking Hitomi's leg with her! "Yahhh!" Hitomi screamed, forced to roll along with Cassie so her own leg wasn't ruined. She knew she had taken enough damage that her leg would be near-unusable now. Still, Hitomi wasn't willing to give up. Now she was on her side, with Cassie conveniently sandwiched in between her legs. Hitomi took her free leg and began to kick at Cassie, aiming especially at her head, hoping to concuss her and make her let go.

Once Hitomi's kicks began to fly Cassie called it quits and let go of her hold. None of the kicks had connected cleanly, and she was getting out before she could take any more damage. Conveniently, she's rolled Hitomi somewhat near the ropes, and a few more rolls and she was out of the ring. She clutched the ring apron with one hand for support, the other hand to her aching head, and quickly circled the ring to put distance between herself and Hiromi. She just needed a moment to clear her head and rest.

At this rate, Hitomi was going to leave in a wheelchair and Cassie wont' remember having put her there. The adrenaline blotted out the worst of the pain, but there was still the fear and alarm at having taken the damage... and then there were the people. Once she was out of the ring Cassie remembered they were there, and how many there were... they weren't as intimidating as they were before. Now that she was in the thick of the match, the crowd in support of both of them, she felt more... welcome. She wanted to give them a show. She wanted to put a finish on this match that her family could be proud of. She just hoped she had enough left in her.

While Cassie rolled her way out of the ring, Hitomi stayed inside, nursing her wounded ankle. With both hands she gently massaged that area, a few tears dripping from her eyes from the pain. She could already feel it swell up, no doubt Cassie sprained it with her horrible twisting. Hitomi knew she should give up, especially since she probably wouldn't even be able to stand with her ankle like this, let alone fight. But still, she wasn't going to let this end this way.

Hitomi grabbed onto the ropes, and slowly began pulling herself up. She obviously favored her wounded ankle, slowly getting to her feet while putting as little pressure as possible. Finally she stood, leaning heavily against the ropes, sweat flowing down her face, waiting for Cassie to get back into the ring.

Cassie rolled back into the ring a safe distance from Hitomi. She saw that her opponent was a bit worse for the wear, and wasn't very mobile as a result. She frowned.

Her brisk stroll around the ring had given her the time she needed for her head to clear up. It still hurt, but she could see straight and think again. She certainly wasn't as fresh as she was at the start of the match... sweat was beading off her forehead and her hair hung limply. She adjusted her suit a little and spoke to Hitomi as she approached, concerned.

"Are you sure you want to continue? I can't take it easy on you just because you're hurt." She was telling herself this as much as Hitomi. With an uncharacteristic sort of grim determination she scanned her opponent's battered body and assessed her options. She didn't want to be mean, but so far she had two obvious targets on Hitomi, and she didn't look like she'd be getting away from her very quickly now. On a happier note, without two legs to push from, there'd be a lot less power behind Hitomi's strikes. She was happy about that. She resumed her grappler's stance.

While normally Hitomi would've gone straight after Cassie after she rolled back into the ring, she was obviously in no position to move. She leaned heavily against the ropes, chest rising and falling as she panted hard, the pain from the multiple submission holds finally catching up with her. Still, it looked like Cassie was worse for wear too, though she was obviously in better shape, as she was still able to move.

When Cassie finished speaking, Hitomi gave her a little smirk. "Heh, you should worry more about yourself," she said. She raised her hands in a defensive posture. "Well, what are you waiting for?" Hitomi said, "Come!"

Cassie looked confused. "Oh, no, I'm fine. Well, I mean like I-oh. Nevermind."

Cassie took a big step in and to the side and swung her right leg like a baseball bat low at Hitomi. She aimed for the spot right above the knee of Hitomi's bad leg, but with enough follow through that if she checked that leg her kick would plow through to her standing leg. It was her very favorite thing that Muai Thai fighters did, and she figured it would do a good job of further hobbling Hitomi.

Hitomi could've and would've easily dodged the attack had one of her ankles not been ruined. As it was, she couldn't sidestep or jump over the kick, so she was forced to take it, yelping out in pain and crumbling to the mat. Hitomi fell onto her hands and knees, in obvious pain after Cassie struck her wounded leg again. Everywhere hurt on Hitomi's body, her neck and back, her arms, her legs. She knew that she couldn't take much more of this, and that if Cassie got ahold of her again the only ways out were tapping out or passing out.

So Hitomi made a desperate move. She pushed forward, using all her strength, and attempted to tackle Cassie in her legs, hoping to take the girl down onto the mat as well. Hitomi couldn't stand anymore, so her only chance was to get Cassie on the mat as well and overpower her there.
