Wouldn't It Be Neat If...

Like in a blog how there's a (hide-able) comments section after every post, ya know. Except here.

The purpose being that in ring matches you could have some degree of crowd participation without it mucking up the actual match. That way the crowd wouldn't be totally imaginary, and it'd provide another element to bounce off the matched people.

Anyway, I'm well aware that you guys (we guys?) didn't build this thread from the ground up and all. Just a little thought.

Also, all this writing for my Taylor has got me back into my punk roots.

Do you mean like posting something in a match but have it in a spoiler tag so it's there but doesn't interrupt the flow of the match?

I'm not even sure if we even have spoiler tags o.O

Ya, something like that. I'd imagine the best way is so that comments from the peanut gallery aren't in separate posts (people with giant signatures would become cumbersome <_< ) but attached to an existing post, and able to be hidden.

Something like that.

interestingly enough, am working on a similar match with Kitten right now. Pammy and Hela will be fighting with a christmas tree nearby, presents underneath. the presents will contain random weapons, sex toys, and regular cute toys for them to use in battle.

whenever one girl opens a package, we stop the thread until another player suggests what the weapon is. same person can't suggest twice in a row, but first post replying sanely is canon for the match. like who's line is it anyway, but for pervs

Just because I didn't mention it before I don't think, when I thought of it I was thinking that it'd let other people post in character, as if the characters were in the scene/crowd somewhere. The value of it varies a bit I guess, depending on the match/scene.

but back to the topic... what you can do is put as part of the title if you want crowd or not

Like... "Peggy vs Maria [Open to crowd]"

or even have, special referee matches..

Ya, that's true, but having each crowd post be show up as a separate post seems like it wouldn't quite be ideal. That is possible, though, and special referee-type stuff would be neat. Anything to throw more interesting stuff into the mix.

You could invite just one member to the match to play one or two of their characters as if they are in amongst the crowd watching... They could varry between their characters first person view of whats going on in the match and third person view as they see and describe the crowds reaction to the match
