[Horus Heresy Target] Lain vs. Cirno?

Standard Match, Standard Ring

"Present day, heh, Present Time, ahahahahaha!" came an eerie voice of a young man, possibly a boy... distorted by transmission from some unknown and possibly jury rigged source. The large monitors cut to static before flipping to a random news show, then flipping to commercial, then a porn, then on and on to a series of seemingly uncoorelated events, like someone was flipping through channels without interest to anything that was on. The lights cut for a moment, but when they turned back on, Lain was standing on the stage, looking at an empty ring. She wore baggy blue jeans and a white cammy and sneakers. Her head was topped with a bear ear beanie... and she appeared mildly paranoid.

She took a step forwared and the lights flickered, and she was suddenly almost to the ring. The lights flickered again and she was working her way through the ropes going into the ring. A final flicker and she stood in the center of the ring. A finger extended and she drew upon the air. Her voice boomed, "No matter who you are, EVERYONE is ALWAYS CONNECTED." But her lips did not move.

Soon enough, Cirno came stepping outside from the backstage, again no theme song unisoned itsself with Cirnos entrance, her usual slow, quiet steps.. The pace that could be seen like a wolf that was about to pounce on it's prey, stopping infront of the ring since the referee stopped her from entering, pointing at the large two handed ice cream stick sword in her hand.

" I'm sorry Cirno, rules are rules.. Please hand over your weapon. "

Cirno moved out the sword infront of her, looking like she was going to give it to the referee but when the referee opened her hands and tried to grab it, Cirno jerking her sword backwards and to her side, just to have it taken by someone else.. It was none other then Lute who tok the sword from Cirno, a wicked grin upon her face while she held the blade tightly to her chest.

" I will be taken this weapon.. You're not worthy to hold onto such a divine weapon! "

" ...... "

Despite being cautious, the referee decided to let it slide, Lute nodding at Cirno and heading to one of the unfolded steel chairs to sit upon it so she could enjoy the show, watching Cirno get into the ring and getting herself ready for the fight.

She watched as the woman who would be her opponent entered into the ring, those eyes listlessly tracking the woman as she entered. What an... interesting... weapon. Interestingly, it made a lot of sense as long as it was used as a blade and not a paddle. Lain shifted her head to the side as her mind began to consider the area moment of inertia, very high high on the blade edge, but extremely low on the wide edge... which means bending followed by immediately snapping is highly likely. Her listless stare then shifted to the woman who took it, Lute was her name. There were some naughty videos of her on the Wired... Cirno too. The thought of them made the hacker blush. Joined in the ring, she backed up to give Cirno all the space she needed.

The ref entered the ring, explained the fight was a standard match, in a standard ring, then backed off to get out of the two girls' way. Lain offered a shy smile to Cirno and a slight wave before stepping forward and extending her right hand to shake Cirno's hand. It was a stupid idea. There were a lot of bad things about Cirno on the Wired. She was a not nice girl. But maybe she would be the hacker's friend anyways.

Cirno once thought that such a hand shake could be seen as honorable, taking pride into the match you have with your opponent and giving it her all, were it not for the White Gale's disloyalty..... She.. Would have accepted it with a bright smile but now she was different, she understood how the real world worked and that loyalty had no side, it was neither good nor evil, it was only your own will that you could follow and it followed the Horus Heresy to this point.

There would be a need to forgive herself for the following action but she had her orders from Lute, things had to be shown that the Horus Heresy meant business, even if it were against the people who were not in their rivalling factions.

Cirno extended her hand to take Lain's, looking like she was gonna shake it but instead she angled it a little and pulled Lain closer, at the same time extending her other arm and tried to clothesline her hard to the ground while yanking her closer.

She smiled as her opponent took her hand. Yes, this was going to be a good match, and she was goi- jerked off balance she stumbled forward and caught the elbow straight in her neck. With a scream, she fell backwards clutching her throat and opening her mouth wide. Eyes widened by surprise, she stepped and pushed with her feet to get back and away from Cirno. The scream ended with an "ahann..." and a roll onto her side as coughing began to open her throat back up.

If given enough time, she would roll fully onto her elbows and knees to begin to get back up. The ref stepped in to advise Cirno against making attacks before the bell had rung. Of course, as Lain had fell, the bell had rung anyways to begin the match... obviously whoever had control of the bell was a little more over zealous than the ref to start the match. She would back off after giving her warning and look to Lain, hoping the girl would recover.

Cirno showed no remorse this time, her acts were dangerous, lethal but in her own mind, she was still just. No matter what everyone said about the Horus Heresy, about Lute and Raiye, she knew better, she should have known better in the first place. While the referee was warning her and stopping her, her thoughts rushed through her mind and came into vision in her eyes, about the White Gale, Seraphim, Masane... All key parts of what she was now.

Masane would probably have not meant it but when she didn't even know Cirno, had cleared the young knight's mind that was troubled to fight her previous organization and now here she was, to make this girl a object, a memorial of what happes if anyone crosses the Horus Heresy.

Cirno stepped forward, her shoulder bumped the referee's, making her stumble back while her eyes remained on Lain, who was trying to get onto her hands and knees. Cirno wasn't going to allow that, she raised her foot up, just above Lain's head and tried to stomp down hard on it to bring her back onto her stomach.

The stomp struck her hard in the back of the head, and even harder when her face collided with the ground. A scream of pain was given as face met mat, both hands swiftly traveling to the back of her head and her face where she had been struck, writhing in pain from the low blow. This was not going to be a good match like she had thought. She needed to get away, so she rolled as best she could, and when she grew dizzy, she crawled he rest of the way to the ropes.

Becoming a wrestler suddenly didn't seem like such a good idea anymore...

Cirno waked after Lain as she started to retreat, she could hear the booing of her old fans, the dissaproval of her actions, the refusal of believing Cirno was acting like this and that she is even in the Horus Heresy, the once ' little blue knight ' she was nicknamed by Seraphim, who was always smiling, laughing, happy and hyper, seemed gone, her eyes were cold now, her expression showed only the seriousness they never nce showed, her stance was hostile yet composed.

Without waiting for Lain to get back up, she moved towards her and tried to stomp down hard on the top of Lain's head.

The stomp sent her back to the ground, face landing in the mat and a crunch minded that her nose snapped. A scream was given as both hands reached to clamp her nose. Rivers of crimson drooled down from her nose over her lips and chin. Rolling back onto her back she tried to catch a rope to get herself back up to her feet. "Ugh, your a bad girl!" she cried as she used the ropes to get herself back up.

The referee did not approve of Cirno's actions but she couldn't say anything when she was smacked in the back of her head by something big and when the referee fell, it was Lute who stood behind her with Cirno's weapon, grinning.

" Cirno, here you go. " She threw the sword to Cirno, who caught it with one hand, glaring down at Lain while she slowly started to raise the sword up high. She was certain this course of action was righteous, this was for the greater good, something Seraphim had always lacked, so she had the need to call her out before she'd strike.

" Seraphim, this is all your doing, if you were more considerate, you would have never abandoned us and given this place more corrupted souls such as this girl. It is my job to bring divine judgement to these people. " With her sword all the way up, she was ready to strike, looking down at Lain with a deadly glare.

" You're going to suffer. " Cirno then slammed the weapon with all she had down onto Lain's gut.
