Songbird vs Quelin (Debut match)

"Of course, I am!" There she comes. Keep your guard up. A good defence is half the way, she thought. "A jump?!" Quelin was suprised again and so she went through the air landing painfull on her back. "Ouch" Panting for breath, she said "Not ready enough, I guess.", while she tried to get up again.

"Having trouble?" asked Songbird as she wiped the dust off her sleeves.

"Ah, I think I'm fine" she said back to her feet with a little smirk on her face. "Thank you for your concern", Quelin got in her stance again and started walking slowly towards Songbird to shorten the distance between them. After this attack, she hoped to have better chances in close combat.

"Well, come on, I don't have all day." With that, Songbird would go a quick uppercut.

Using a cross block Quelin blocked the attack. With both her and one of Songbird's arms up in the air 'cause of the block, she and Songbird were both open for attacks. Quelin direct facing Songnird now, knew: She still has a free hand. Now it's a contest of reaction and speed. And Quelin tried to place a kick right to Songbird's stomach.

Songbird would try to block that kick with her free leg and would use the other hand to grab Quelin's blocking arm and throw her over.

Ahh, to slow! She thought when her kick was stopped. She wanted to take one step back to get room for a second kick, but was surprised that her arm was grabbed and drawn in the other direction. Quelins only idea was to grab her opponent's arm as well and hoping that would be useful for a counter or something during or after what happens next.
"Ou..?!" And again Quelin went through the air. But this time, she would try to hold on Songbird's arm, so that both would get a little flight.

Songbird was also carried through the air and both went down together.

"Welcome to the ground..." Quelin mumbled. After a second to get the head clear, she would try to roll sideways still holding Sonbird's arm to get on her knees. If she could do this fast enough she would wring Songbird's arm and could try to start a triangle hold.

Songbird cringed as she was caught in the triangle hold, but then she would try using her other hand to blindly grab Lymsil by the hair, hoping she would let go.
