Hardcore Match: Annelle deSade vs Marita (no contest)

The crowd sat, fidgeting amongst themselves as they waited for the next match to start. The upcoming match was part of the first half of Friction's new Hardcore Tournament, and a lot of them already knew that it would be involving Annelle deSade-- a woman who was downright frightening for her capacity for cruelty. Whatever happened in this match, it would no doubt be fairly brutal.

Suddenly, dark and gloomy music came on, and Annelle strode into the arena. Those who were brave enough booed her, but she paid them no notice as she walked into the arena. Quite a few others were shocked into silence by the sight of the girl being dragged behind her by a long choke-chain. It took them only a few seconds to recognize her as Seraph, the girl that Annelle had beaten in her last match. The girl looked bedraggled and numb; something in her eyes seemed dead and unfeeling. The audience shuddered as they wondered what Annelle had done to that poor girl.

As she reached the ring, Annelle tied Seraph to a nearby ring post. Seraph seemed to make no objection, and Annelle slowly slid into the ring, standing up and waiting patiently for her next victim to arrive...

The lights brightened and directed to the entrance, where Marita was standing, eyes closed while her ears listened to her own theme song. Marita was wearing a loose black shirt and black baggy pants, fingerless gloves and black boots. The girl tilted her head up and looked over at the two girls, one near the ring and the other in it, taking only a few seconds to calmly walk towards the ring, sparkles flying around to end her intro.

Marita gave Annelle only a second glance but the other girl wasn't given one, rolling into the ring, quickly hopping upon both feet and heading for the center of the ring, turning to face Annelle, bowing down with one arm over her stomache, much like a bow one would give to a queen.

Without a word Marita stepped back towards the opposite corner Annelle was in, leaning against it and waiting for the bell to ring to signal the match.

At that moment, the bell rang. Slowly, Annelle walked towards the centre of the ring, arms crossed, staring Marita down as she waited for her to make the first move.
