Is that the sport with the oblong pigball and the huge dudes, the one with the little white ball you hit with a stick, the big orange ball you bounce around, the one with the black puck you hit with a bent stick, or the one where everyone gets their own tiny white ball that they try to put into a far off hole?

No... no wait, it's the white spotted ball with the really excited announcers! I think I've seen that once or twice...

Also, I've never stepped foot into /b/! From my time on the internet, the stories have led me to steer clear of 4chan. XD

4chan itself isn't so bad when you're at the right non-/b/ board. Hell, at it's best, it's a bunch of morons without names saying dumb things on purpose and occasionally talking comics, sports, video games, whatever the topic of their board is.

Plus, since most memes tend to spring out from 4chan, most of them are already TIRED of the meme du jour and refuse to brook people spamming it.

Hell, the best way to describe /v/ is GameFAQs or SA with much fewer 8 year olds, much less drama, and an average thread lifespan of two hours.

/sp/, the sports board, was renamed "ENGLISH GOALKEEPING" due to the eruption streaming from that wonderful, wonderful goaltending in the USA vs. UK game. The average time there is a bunch of US vs. Europe/Canada/whoever is making the thread this week/everyone else trolling, except during games, where the entire board can be consumed with all caps cheering, hooting, hollering, and quick reaction image cropping regarding the game. Like a bunch of crazy nerds enjoying sports.

Of course, 4chan is also utter trash half the time too, ragefests, trollfests, ronery, and fanboy circlejerks, but that's the nature of the internets for you.
