Masane stepped out to her music, raising a fist in the air as she stepped out. The crowd rose to their feet when they saw Masane making her normal entrance, and Masane smiled in kind towards the crowd. As she started to walk down the ramp, she scratched at her gi, frowning a little. Her clothing felt itchy, like she was wearing paper. Did someone wash her outfit the wrong way? She frowned, but decided to ignore it for now.

She hopped up, grabbing the ropes while leaping up to the outside of the ring, and then ducked under the top rope, climbing inside and moving to the farther corner. When her music died down, she started to scratch a bit at her clothing again. Whatever it was, it was starting to irritate her! She took a deep breath, and chose to ignore the urge to scratch, and instead started to do a few warm ups instead to limber up her body, waiting for her opponent. She didn't recognize the name of her new opponent, so she imagined that the woman was new to the roster.

It was then when Ryomou's theme started to play. While walking in her standard maid attire normally into the ring, without making a spectacle out of it, she tought for a moment that some of her former class-mates back from her school days might be watching without paying too much attention to the audience.

Altough being her first match, Ryomou didn't show any signs of nervousness, on the contrary. Calmly she stared, with her arms crossed, at Masane like a tiger who is about to go for the kill. "So, she is going to be my first victim?", she tought.

Masane watched as Ryomou made her entrance. She raised an eyebrow at the eyepatch and maid's attire as she made her way down the ramp, and watched her climb into the ring with her.

As she entered, she offered a friendly smile to her, before scratching idly at her shoulder. "Hello" She greeted calmly. "Best of luck to you... was it Ryomou?" She asked, trying to recall the name she read off the paper.

Not returning the smile and staying rather expressionless she replied "Yes, you are right Tajiri-sempai. The name 's Ryomou Shimei." For a second the screen froze in black and white and the Ikkitousen-esque subtitle "AFW Newbie - Ryomou Shimei" was shown. Ryomou slowly switchted to her fighting stance. "But enough talk! Let the fighting do the rest of the introduction!"

Masane blinked when Ryomou knew her name as well, and saw how anxious she was to begin the match. She nodded, raising her fist up into her palm and bowing to her before shifting into her karate stance, waiting for the bell to ring.

Her blue eyes focused on Ryomou's single eye, seeing a potential weakness already. But the stance the woman took; she doubted it would be easy exploiting it. Also, her gi and martial art pants were still feeling scratchy and stiff as hell, which was a bit distracting.

As soon as the bell rang Ryomou immediately rushed towards Masane and startet assaulting her relentlessly with a series of punches and kicks. Aloutgh the blue haired newbie was in no particular hurry she was eager to see Masanes full strength as soon as possible. "It's been a while since I got a real challenge the last time. I hope she doesn't disappoint me.", thought Ryomou.

Masane blinked when Ryomou suddenly rushed towards her, and raised her arms up to block her punches, feeling her punching at her forearms relentlessly. She'll try and hop to the side, smiling a bit behind her arms. This girl was going all out right at the start! It was only a matter of time before this woman ran out of steam if she kept up this pace. Her forearms already felt sore from blocking, but she decided she would keep up on the defensive, if it caused the one eyed woman to continue to attack at this speed.

Noticing that she had to break Masane's defence before it becomes too tiring, Ryomou to continued with the punches as a distraction while in the heat of the action she attempted to get her opponent on the ground with a sweep kick.

While crossing her arms up, and feel her continuing to punch at her, she had forgotten to protect her legs, and thus went down on her butt, gasping as she took the leg sweep, but then she'd try to counter and throw her feet up into Ryomou's gut hard to try and stun her. "Kya!!"

"Ugh!" Having underestimated her opponent for a second it was too late for her to react on Masane's counter attack which stunned her for a moment. "N-not bad..." said Ryomou with a slightly painful grin while holding her belly. "Maybe now she will switch to the offence."
