Maya VS. Momoko (archived)

Maya looked down at her opponent she knew that this was going to end badly for both of them and she already figured she'd be off her leg for a whole after this match. "Sorry Momoko san I can't let you win this one even if it means I don't wrestle for a while." With that she pressed up harder into Momoko's elbow but also pressing it off to the side just a little bit now causing thee different areas of pain in the arm.

Momoko gasped at her arm feeling like it was going to crack in three places all at once. But it was Maya's determination that determined her reaction. "I understand, Maya-san," she hissed back- then shut her eyes as she released the pressure on Maya's leg, calling out as loudly as she could, "I give up! I give up!"

Cousin Kaoru, I am sorry... but Yatori has shown me another way... I guess I do not really deserve the Hanayama name...

Maya let go of her opponents arm as soon as her opponent gave and laid down on top of her unable to move now. She went to move but pain shot through her leg keeping from doing anything. "You were great Momoko-san you really would of had me after a few more seconds. Even though I won I believe that you were the better this time."

Momoko briefly huffed in relief as Maya released her. Her arm ached, but right now she could not tend to it, what with Maya in the way.

"Iie, Maya-san," the sumo girl humbly protested. "You displayed stronger fighting spirit than I. I knew I could not continue with the match after your declaration."

Sensing Maya seriously hurt: "I deeply apologize for injuring you. Will you let me assist you?"

Maya rolled off the girl looking up at the fans "if you say so though I guess that spirit has come from many losses more than wins." She looked over at her cute opponent smiling "it would be greatly appreciated if you assisted me."

"Wanting to win garnered you your victory tonight." Momoko made to assist Maya to her feet. She smiled back reassuringly at her victorious yet also hesitant opponent. "You earned it well. I am honored that you chose to wrestle with me, and I look forward to wrestling with you again."

Maya smiled at her opponent her injured leg not even touching the ground as she kept it up not putting any type of pressure on it. "I enjoyed our match also and I look forward to a rematch one day. Though next time I want take it easy on you" she said jokingly smiling at her opponent.

"Same here," Momoko returned. She helped Maya hobble out of the ring to loud applause for a hard-fought match.
