Cecilia Lombard vs. Nadine Hawker - No-DQ Match

It was time for Cecilia to get back in the ring. And to her luck, her second match in LAW just so happened to be something she was particularly accustomed to - a no-DQ match! Although Cecilia was a skilled submission specialist with a good grasp of technical wrestling, she also knew a fair bit about just flat-out hurting people, and her experience in independent hardcore wrestling promotions had put her name on the map as a ruthless competitor with a take-no-prisoners attitude. Now was her chance to reconnect with her roots. There would be no pesky referee getting in her way this time - she could do whatever she liked, and whatever she needed to do in order to get ahead. Just thinking about it backstage, it seemed like Cecilia's lucky day.

"Coming first to the ring, from Detroit, Michigan! At 5'6 and weighing 135 pounds, CECILIAAAAA LOMBARD!"

Just as in her last match, Cecilia's arrival to the ring was punctuated by the lights in the arena suddenly cutting, plunging the room into darkness before a spotlight shone down on the silver-haired girl. She cracked her knuckles and rolled her shoulders before she proceeded down the ramp and got into the ring, her head held high. She got plenty of boos, but she wouldn't let them stop her. Boos wouldn't slow her down, and neither would the ref. That was something her opponent was soon going to find out...

Nadi was getting her activity back up after the fight with Piper. Nothing was going to stop her now. She heard bad things about this person but she'd faced meaner and bigger without any fear. Why should an intimidating look stop her now? Nadi came out with Sarah watching close by as she didn't like the look of this girl just like Nadine didn't. Only Nadi came down to the ring, she wasn't looking to cheat or play dirty, she was prepared to meet Cecilia in the ring one on one and win, as usual.

Once she was in the ring she felt the bad vibes that Cecilia ooze grow, the intensity she had enough to scare non fighters off. Nadine didn't want to say anything for once, staring back at her to see if she was all talk or if she was as mean as she looked. She had a feeling it was one of the other without a chance of it being somewhere in the middle and so far it was looking like the latter.

Cecilia already didn't have high hopes that her opponent would measure up to her, and seeing Nadine arrive on the scene did little to change her mind. When the girl cast a look her way, she just folded her arms and looked back at her with a scowl. This girl was supposed to stand a chance against her? She looked like some soft, pathetic weakling who would break down in tears if Cecilia so much as poked her too hard. Was this really the best AFW had to offer for her? Regardless...if Cecilia had to make her opponent into an example, she wasn't afraid to do so. She just hoped it'd send a message to everyone else who might want a piece of her.

Cracking her knuckles, the brunette walked closer to the center of the ring, fixing an unwavering glower on her foe. "Care to give me a reason to believe this'll be worth my time?" she grumbled.

Nadine could see the girls scowl grow looking at her, she didn't deem her to be worth her time. Nadine was not going to let that get to her, she knew that people like her just wanted to intimidate her because she was smaller but being tough meant more than just being brooding and mean. "I'll let the match speak for itself." Nadine said, leaving it at that until the bell would ring to give them permission to start.

Nadi moved in carefully arms raised to be ready to meet Cecilia in grappling until she was close enough to go low, afterwards she'd go for a drop toe hold to send her face first to the mat and then try to shuffle up top and catch her in a headlock.

Despite facing down an opponent as ruthless as Cecilia Lombard, Nadine didn't seem the least bit intimidated. But that wasn't going to slow the newcomer down. If anything, it just brought an even wider smile to her face. She really thought she stood a chance? Cute. But that just meant the lesson would hit her even harder when Cecilia demonstrated where that attitude would really get her.

In fact, Nadine was offering a lockup! That seemed like a laughable mistake, considering she was going up against a submission specialist. Even before Cecilia had taken Nadine's hands, she was already shaking her head, utterly unimpressed with what the girl had to offer. "We'll see something, all right..." Raising her hands, she flashed Nadine a sinister grin, prepared to take hold of her...

But it seemed that Nadine was more clever than Cecilia had bargained for! Just then, the white-haired girl ducked down to grab her by the foot, pulling up to throw her off balance! Cecilia gasped as she flopped over onto her back - but just a moment later, as Nadine grabbed her by the head, she hissed through clenched teeth, her body growing stiff. It seemed she had underestimated just what her opponent was capable of. But all the same, Cecilia wasn't going to let Nadine boast of having overcome her. She was still going to put her in the place she belonged!

Cecilia stomped her foot against the mat, trying to shake Nadine's grip on her. If that worked, she'd swing her knees up, attempting to kick her legs over her body and drive them against her opponent's side!
