It was good coming off a win for a change, and a big one at that. Prominent names here in Tension and someone as decorated as Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt was a pretty big deal. Sure she didn’t beat them alone, but she was part of it. Her name was front and center on the event card right next to her dumb cousin’s tag team name. Who even said scallywag anymore besides elderly people in retirement homes? It was what she needed though, a good jumping-off point to start back on her her wrestling career.

Tonight was set to be a pretty easy one as well. Part of a tag team, one that got cannibalized in their debut by some really gnarly secretaries. She had gone through the trouble of finding the match and actually had trouble watching it through in its entirety. They had worked over the guy she was wrestling tonight pretty badly. The thing that stuck out to her the most though was his willingness to stay the legal man to keep his sister from getting in the ring with their sadistic opponents. It was an admirable thing. Elliot was the sort of brother sisters were supposed to have, in their corner and sticking up for them. Not ones like her brother.

Kairi Kamiya:

Kairi slipped from from gorilla position and strode across the metal grating as pink and gold lights fanned across the arena. She took center stage, throwing up a hand, dramatically lowering it to point the ring with a mimed finger gun. She pretended to pull the trigger, pointing a thumb back at herself, popping out her tongue in a cutsie way, and winking for the crowd. She made her way down to the ring in a fast jog, sliding onto the apron and below the bottom rope with a dive. Popping to her feet, she walked the inside of the ring, waving to the crowd on her way to the far corner of the ring, to get in a few stretches as she waited for her opponent.

Backstage, Elliot Gemina finished tying his shoes, double knotting them so they stayed on nice and tight, standing up and pulling on his long black and orange shirt. One of these days, when they could afford it, he was going to get his own custom gear made. One day.

He and his twin sister, Katie, hadn't been in Japan for very long. But the honeymoon period for their time in Japan hadn't been very long either. Not that they didn't enjoy it, as Japan was a fascniating, fun, and beautiful country.

Buuuuuuut...they had definitely realizd that full consequences of their rash and, in hindsight, somewhat ridiculous decision. They had lied to their parents about attending college in person, taking courses online instead while flyinig off to Japan instead.

Then they basically lied their way into AFW, literally finding a line of "enhancement talent" entering in a different entranceway into the arena and simply joined in the line. Elliot was pretty sure at least a few of the people in charge here knew that they weren't legitimtely hired, but just didn't care because they were considered low level nothing wreslers.

They were put up in one of Tensions complimentary dorms, found jobs at a local convienence store nearby that needed workers, and did their studies online when not working or training.

Now it was time for his second ever televized match, and his first singles matches...which he had to admit, he was grateful for to a degree. He loved his twin sister Katie dearly, and in thei last tag match together, he had tried to do everything he could to protect her from their far more skilled and dandgerous opponents, and as a result, he had taken a hell of a beating in thtat match. No major injrues, but the minor ones took weeks to fully recover.

So tonight, he had asked Katie to stay in the backstage area instead of being at ringside, out of concern that, depending on his opponent, they might try to go after Katie to screw with him or make him put himself in harms way.

She didn't like it at all, but she understood what he meant, and that going in the ring alone meant he could go all out without concern, and if that helped him win, she didn't want to screw that up.

So now, as his music played, he heade from the gorilla posiion and made his way down the ramp, running down full speed down the ramp, his small size letting him easily blitz down to the ring without breaking a sweat, sliding underneath the rpes and hopping up to his feet. The crowd gave him a polite applause, but not much reaction after that, having little idea who he even was.

Looking over at his opponent, Elliot let out a smaall low whistle of appreciation. He had heard of Kairi Kamiya, being a longtime fan of the show. One couldn't be a fan of Tension, without knowing of the Kamiya Family after all.

"Heya!" He said in a cheerful, friendly tone. "I know you, You're Kairi Kamiya! I saw that six man tag match you were in with Ryo and Ed! You were great in that match! That running front flip senton you did off the entrance ramp onto both members of Dominon was really cool, and how you scored the winning pinfall over Gwendolyn was awesome!!"

He exclaimed with excitement in his voice, fan-boying over the lovely young woman, boh out of geniunely enjoying her work in the few matches he'd seen of her...and partially trying to butter up so she wouldn't be as mean to him as those last girls were!

“Hey to you too.” Kairi shot back with a small smile. She raised at brow when he said he was familiar with her. Her polite smile turned into a beaming smile at the praise, getting a hit of red on her cheeks as she let her eyes drift off to the side. She especially liked the part where he breezed past Ryo’s involvement and focused on her own highlights in the match.

“Yeah… I was pretty great in that match.” She sighed wistfully, wishing the monumental victory had done more to boost her career. It should have been a huge deal, especially over here on Tension. She threw her hands back behind her head, interlocking the fingers as her attention was drawn back to Elliot. “Well, you have good taste. You’re looking at the future Tension World Champion after all.” She flashed a cocksure smirk and gave her fellow wrestler a wink.

“You’re a nice guy El. Do people call you that or do they go for the whole name, Elliot?” She gave a small shrug and a shake of her head. “Since you seem to be such a big fan, I can autograph something for you after the match. It’ll be worth a fortune soon enough.”

Elliot failed to resist a blush as Kairi winked at him and flashed that dazzling smile his way. Opponent or not, firsst singles match or not, he was very well aware hat he was in the ring one on one with a beautiful girl, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head as he chuckled a little.

"Um, most people call me Elliot, but uh...if you wanted to call me El, I would be cool with that...and yeah, an autograph would be great! I...don't have anything on me except my shirt, but I can find something!"

He said cheerfully, trying to sound like he was confident, rather than having his nerves firing as he kept looking a those tanned thiighs, pivoting back to a fiight mindset...and then looking back at those thighs...

He shook his head, clapping his cute cheeks with his hands, trying to re-focus and psyche himself up. "Right well...you probably will be a future champion, but that doesn't mean I won't fight as hard as I can against you!" He said boldly, pointing at the attractive older fighter and trying to seem like he was in control.

...then a few seconds passed and he, not really knowing how to end that statement, blinked and lowered his hand.

"Um...are you ready?"

Kairi, cocked her head slightly as Elliot rambled, just taking it all in with a half smile on her face. All she could think about was how much Tension was going to eat him alive. Herself included in that, but she would at least not maim the poor guy like some of the psychos in the league. The blush hadn’t made it past her notice, shifting slightly to subtly present herself in a more sensual pose. When he posed his question if she was ready, she simply shook her head and raised a finger, looking as if she were waiting for something.


She tapped her finger in the air in time with the bell, her cute expression shifting to a very serious one as she charged Elliot down. Nothing fancy, just trying to sweep him across the chest with a clothesline out the gate. If she hit him, she would turn and take a few steps back, flashing him a smirk and gesturing him to get up. “Are we wrestling or what, El?”

Elliot finally took his eyes off Kairi's body, looking confused as Kairi shook her head, indicating that she...wasn't ready for the match?

Then the bell rang. Oh. Duh. Man, he could be dumb sometim-OH CRAP!

"GAH!"

Elliot, too new to the ring, too new to the ways of pro wrestling, was taken off guard as the bell rang and Kairi suddenly went from being a beautiful girl, to being a pink and black and tanned blur, and he was suddenly being smashed right in the chest with an arm, dropping the blonde teen flat oto the mat, wincing for a moment before he looked up at Kairi, waving him up in a teasing fashion getting another blush out of him.

"O-of course we are! I just...got distracted..."

Elliot said, clearly embarrassed by getting dropped onto his back literally from the word "go", and he kipped up, hopping back to his feet in one smooth motion and took off, charging towards Kairi, showing off his own speed, able to move quick fo his small size, trying to repay her for the attack by throwing his own arm out for a clothesline of his own!

"Nice moves." Kairi quirked a brow, whistling at the impressive kip-up. She fanned her face with a hand, pretending the display had made her feel faint. When he came charging at her though, she dropped the act and took a few steps backward, making him have to close a bit more distance.

When he finally reached her and let the clothesline rip, she snapped forward and dipped beneath it, her hands went down to the canvas while one of her legs shot up and hooked over, looking to catch Elliot with a scorpion kick to his head or chest, weaponizing his own momentum against him.

Elliot really had taken off as fast as he could when he made his charge, hasty decision, based off of nerves, a desire to prove himself, and a bit of embarrassment from getting taken off his fight so instantly in the match, he wanted to show that, while he was certainly new and a total rookie, he wasn't going to get such a one-sided beating like he did in his last match!

So naturally, he ran right into a foot.

Kairi had been there, right in front of him as he charged in towards her, and suddenly, she was gone, and before Elliot could factor that, slow himself, adjust his speed or stride or direction, anything...a foot swung upwards in her place, the sole smacking the twin right between the eyes, snapping his head back against his own forward momentum, causing his body fall backwards to the mat, his momentum causing him to slide a couple of inches before coming to a stop, the boy groaning and shaking his head, seeing stars and spots float in his vision after that surprise scorpion kick!

Kairi pushed off the canvas with her fingers, gliding back to an upright position with a smug smirk on her face. Without wasting time, she strode up to where Elliot had slid to along the mat, stepping up along his side. She hopped up and kicked her legs out, coming down with an elbow drop aimed square at his chest. It was just to soften him up a bit, it didn’t make sense to let him catch a break.

If she hit the elbow, she’d sit herself up and scoot her backside up along the canvas then drop her weight down over him. Not in a pin, instead she would hook an arm around his head and pull him up between her flexing bicep and the side of her breast to squeeze him into a firm headlock. Unless her stopped her, she would cinch the hold easily enough and rest her body on top of him as she cranked the hold. She wasn’t too worried about him trying to escape, most boys enjoyed the view and the feel. The rest hold was an easy way for her to whittle him down without much of a fight.  

“So where’d you learn to wrestle El?” Kairi smiled down at him as she worked the hold, intending to keep him distracted and compliant as long as she could to keep the hold locked in without expending too much energy herself.

"GAH!"

Elliot wasn't given much time, any at all really, to recover or get up after that fast surprise kick to his face, as moments later an elbow came out of nowhere into his vision, before driving down into the center of his chest, his slim legs kicking upwards on reflex from the elbow, his hands going straight to his chest as he let out a pained gasp, some of his air driven out of him by the hard elbow, as his legs flopped back to the mat, leaving the blonde teen coughing and trying to roll away from his opponent.

Only Kairi seemed to realize exactly what he was going to do as she dropped her body down on top of his, wrapped her arm around his neck, and held him in place, his cute face pressed against the side of her breast, his warm breath cascading over it, causing him to blush at the teasing hold, kicking his legs and grabbing at her arm in a futile attempt to protest and escapae, though, still winded from the elbow, and with such a tight grip, Kairi had him good at tight.

"..Erg...I-I...My sister and I are...self taught..." He grunted back, still squirming, but kept tightly under lock in her hold!
