The Apology of Phoebe Vermillion

She didn't feel all too offended when she told her to not act like her team, but she didn't exactly feel too fond of the request; she knew her friends were good people deep down. The blonde sweetheart paused in realization that maybe the team should attend therapy some time; a thought for later, as she glanced over at Ali with amused disbelief that he genuinely likes her. The two haven't exactly gotten on the right foot, and she thinks she might've crushed his balls during their match, but all things considered, she got the impression that there wasn't all that much tension between them right now anyway. If Yona or Iris were around, they'd laugh at how oblivious Phoebe was when Gharam revealed Ali's love for her, but in her blind innocence, she turned her head back to her new acquaintance and giggled in response.
"Oh, I'm sure he does~! But yeah, why wouldn't I be kind to him?"

Ali looks at Gharam with a dirty look, if looks could kill she would be dead, she chuckles, knowing Ali did like the blonde.

Phoebe shrugged, walking over to Ali to pat him on the shoulder. "Let's go get some food, to pay you back for what you've lost," she commented to everyone in the room, but aimed it towards Ali. She was implying how she might have smashed his balls, but could also be seen as her feeling bad about winning against him.

Ali nods "Okay." Was all he said, still very much fluster by what his teacher said.

Phoebe once again held Ali's hand and told Gharam goodbye, before going off to the snack bar on the opposite side of the medical center.

Ali blushes, clearly fluster by how kind she was or maybe more.

She sat down at a nearby table, and re-adjusted her hair, prepared for a long night of conversations.

Ali smiles.

Phoebe was about to ask a question, until she felt a tap on her shoulder; it was Iris and Hazel. They didn't seem to be in any danger, so Phoebe didn't immediately jump out of her seat, but she'd feel a droplet of sweat slither down her cheek, Iris explaining that Raven had beaten Yona so badly that she had to go to the hospital. She jumped up, completely forgetting about Ali for a moment as she spat dozens of questions at both women. Hazel tried to poke at the blonde, asking if she was on a date, looking straight at Ali, but Phoebe was quick to deny it, but also reminded that he was there.
"Oh- uhm, I have to go, but let's hang out another time, alright?"
