As she stormed out of the gymnasium, Hazel hoped that Yona would come after her to apologize, but the exit would soon become apparent; the blue-haired brat realizing that she truly didn't feel remorse for hurting her feelings. All had ever tried to do was be a good servant to her, trying to cut out a distraction from her life and avenging her whenever she unfairly lost. She rammed her fist into the wall, dragging it to the doorway—growling silently. She eventually walked outside the building, sitting down on the sidewalk in shame. The girl with nothing else to do, she couldn't get home without Iris, whom she lived with. With that, she thought about the time she first met her brunette leader.
The two weren't exactly friends, but as far as she remembered, she had always adored Yona's spirit. She was usually pretty hostile to conversation and cold to anyone that wasn't her brother or Shana, so the moment Hazel first spoke to her, the brunette shrugged her off, trying to make up any excuse to not talk to her. Both had been victims of Iris, so she thought they'd get along fairly well, but the bitch had loner written all over her face. Despite being so attractive and having such a slender, youthful body back then, she dedicated her time to getting into physical altercations and focusing on her studies. At one point, there was a rumor that Yona had grown a crush on the boy that sat next to her, and it led to her eventually stripped naked and forced to be fucked by every guy in the school. Hazel wish she had done something—anything, but she knew if she messed up with Iris' group, she'd have been in the same position.
In the end, the two never kept in touch after graduation; Hazel's family had fallen on hard times, so she was kicked out of the house and forced to work as a sex worker. Coincidentally, that's where she met back up with both of the girls that would become her teammates today. Hazel wasn't all that good at it, and didn't exactly enjoy giving people blowjobs in the back of the building, but she thrived on the fact that she'd get another chance to befriend Yona. Well, that's what she thought before Yona left weeks later; turns out, they were training the brat to be a replacement for their best worker.
All hope seemed lost forever, until one day, out of boredom, Hazel would turn on the TV and see "Louise Heisenberg" wrestling against Renee Steinhauser for the first time. That's when her infatuation with the red-eyed ice queen rose to an obsessive degree; seeing that she managed to finally reach her goal. Hazel knew she had wanted to be a wrestler for a while, having overheard her conversation with Shana. Not as if she stalked her, at least not on purpose—sorta.
Regardless, it gave her the motivation to pursue her life purpose; having been outcasted by their neighborhood for being a "weird girl;" that's what they called her. She trusted in her potential and perfection; she knew she herself was fated for greatness. She just needed to prove to them that she could be a grand hero, just like her mother described. Not only that, but she was already blessed with overwhelming beauty and a soft, lovely voice. Hazel has all the factors to be even greater than Yona, but she wouldn't get far without her help. The brunette heel was the perfect candidate for her plan, she could be her rival, but to her surprise, Yona already had quite the ruthless rival. She'd be forced to settle for being a teammate, but once the bitch slipped up, Hazel would be there to pull the rug from under her and come out as the hero that defeated Yona. Hazel was already well aware of her criminal history, but she couldn't use it against her just yet. She wanted Renee to do it instead, so Hazel could swoop in and kill two birds with one stone. The brat would solidify her place in wrestling as the best face to ever defeat the worst heel.
However, before she could toot her own horn any more than she already had, Iris placed a hand on her shoulder and gestured for her to follow her to the car. The two didn't say much to each other, not wanting to speak on what had happened back in the training room. Hazel hated how Yona was completely blind to what she was doing for the both of them, and instead, favoring a blonde nobody that served no real benefit to her. Hazel should be her true focus on the team, but for some damned reason, she stuck with Phoebe. In that case, she'd just have to deal with Phoebe herself; when the time is right, she'll ruin their leader, and get back into favor with Yona.
