Born in Osaka, Daichi was raised an orphan in an orphanage ever since he was a young child. His mother had passed away shortly after his birth and his father had left him in an orphanage. Despite his tragic past, young Daichi was considered a happy kid and he had a father figure to whom he looked up to. Daichi would be very interest in combat sports since he was young, visiting a wrestling dojo where the head dojomaster would be the father figure he looked up to and considered as his father. The old man was a retired pro-wrestler and was considered to be one of the very best in his days. Daichi would learn everything from him, from wrestling moves to table manners, from discipline to respect and to never always give it all no matter how grim the circumstances may be. He would be told from an early age that he was an orphan but he would learn from his masters teaching and would not let that fact bum him down. As a young boy he wanted affection from those around him and pro-wrestling was a way for him to achieve that, he wanted the world to chant his name!  

After being trained by his father figure, the young Daichi looked to set the world ablaze with his passion and determination to be the best.
