Sarnai vs. Yori - Goat vs Fox

Despite her attempts, Yori managed to slip out of her hold, causing Sarnai to groan as she lay on her back, taking a breather. She had exerted a lot in her string of offense and that hold, so she had to take a moment to take a breather. As she propped herself on her elbows, she glared at Yori, glancing at her as she sat up, propping her knees up and put her arms on top of them, sitting and taking breathes.

She wiped the sweat that had been increasingly perspiring off her nostrils, and observed Yori trying to get up on her feet. Her leering eyes were fixed on her, the glare never softening. She was mentally preparing plans on what to try next against her opponent as she decided to start to get on her feet.

The both of them had been fighting for a bit, back and forth, and yet none of them had managed to push out against each other. This only proved to rile the crowd up as both of them had been giving it their all throughout. Yori herself wasn't about ready to give up yet, crouching partially and bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet. Her chest swayed back and forth, eyes trained on Sarnai as the both of them seemed to think up what they'd be doing for their next move.

Yori wasn't going to wait forever and decided finally to strike out, charging forward on in a quick charge, darting in as she looked to try and smash a fist into the goat woman before juking behind to the left. Her goal was to use the rope to jump off of, trying to smash a kick into Sarnai.

As Sarnai got back on her feet, Yori was already coming in hot on her! It was surprising how much stamina she still had left after that earlier onslaught of damage she took. She was certainly no easy to break speedster.

And sure enough, as she came in fast, Sarnai took another defensive posture, hunching her shoulders and putting her arms up for her defense. As Yori threw her fist in, Sarnai leaned backwards, bringing her arms up to make sure the strike didn't hit her upper body. She managed to block the strike, but Yori had already flashed away to the side and was leaping off the ropes, bringing a flying kick towards her!

Sarnais eyes widened in surprise as she this time made a mistake; trying to catch the kick. It didn't work as the kick came in very fast, knocking Sarnai several feet away from Yori, sliding across the mat before she backrolled and stood back on her feet, but with a notable wobble. She placed a hand over her chest where the kick had landed. A burning pain was raging and spreading across her upper body, and her face glowered in response.

Between two opponents that used speed and natural agility as part of their repertoire, ferocity was most needed in order to win such a match. Yori had learned from before in her last match with the Steppe warrior that letting your foe dictate the pace of a match could very well lead to defeat, and so it was Yori that making sure that she was on top here, smashing forward and attempting to break the goat before it was far too late.

"Hiya!" she cried out, jumping forward to try and smash her elbow right into Sarnai's chest. A hail mary sort of attack that would likely be rather painful if it impacted.

Although Sarnai seemed hurt and wobbling, Yori had made an error! Though Sarnai did wobble from the pain of that kick, Sarnai still had a lot of fuel left in her gas tank! And this meant her defenses were still up even as she seemed standing in a hurt position.

As Yori's elbow strike came towards her, Sarnai moved towards Yori, side stepping the attack, and shooting her arm towards Yori's neck from under the elbow strike, hooking it around the kitsunes arm and neck, as she jumped and slammed her opponent down in a neckbreaker! But Sarnai didn't let go, still firmly having her arm wrapped around Yori's arm and neck, she scrambled into a semi North to South position, and started punching Yori in the stomach.

Yori was in a daze now, attempting to quickly try and back away, but Sarnai was on her quickly, knowing full well that she had just gained the advantage after countering her. The fox would try and quickly strike again but was grabbed by her foe after the elbow strike to her bouncy chest. It'd hook around her neck before sending her straight into the mat after a small jump in a devastating Neck breaker, sending pain down her body after landing. It wasn't over however as Sarnai kept at it, holding her down before sending strike after strike into her stomach, unprotected.

The fox woman would cough, face scrunching up as strike after strike landed into her. Something had to be done and quickly as well, raising her legs to try and snatch Sarnai's head between them to try and toss aside, but easier said than done as she had to act fast.

Sarnai's face was in a snarl, her gritted teeth visible as she put in as much force as possible into the pounding she was giving to Yori's stomach. Punch after punch landed into Yori's exposed stomach, and Sarnai kept her own lock around Yori's neck in her position.

Nonetheless, Sarnai found herself being surprised by Yori bringing her legs up, wrapping them around Sarnai's head which caused her to stop in surprise, before flinging Sarnai off! She slid along the mat, her face dragging across the canvas, and stayed facing the floor before dazedly pulling her face off the mat where it had clung to.

Yori stayed down on the mat after flipping Sarnai away, groaning as the pain would begin to get to her, clutching over shoulders as she slowly tried to will herself up to get back up but only managed to get on to her knees. Blow after blow, move after move, both of them had matched each other throughout and yet none could get the advantage edge wise as she moved over towards Sarnai, Yori preparing to try and grab her foe. If anything, she was running out of ideas oddly enough, the fox starting to get somewhat desperate now and she wasn't liking that mindset.

So, Yori would slowly grab them, attempting to bring them up from the ground in a rough manner.

Sarnais face drag across the canvas had taken more out of her fur to the face damage than she has expected. Her ears were ringing a bit, and her face burnt like as if she had slapped a hot coal on her face. Sitting up on her knees, she rubbed her face to shake it off, but she hasn't been quick enough.

Yori had already made her way over, roughly grabbing and dragging her up to her feet! Sarnai was caught off guard, realizing the ringing in her ears had been worse than she had expected as she hadn't heard or felt Yori stomping over. In a moment of instinctive retaliation, she grabbed the wrist of Yours hand that was pulling her up, and another band grabbed Yoris other shoulder.

Yori continued to pick up Sarnai off the ground, hoping that there wouldn't be much fight left to her besides what had already transpired. However, she knew that would just be a fantasy in any reality as Sarnai would not go down without a strong fight. It was just in this goat woman's nature to fight until the very end, and Yori could say that she too shared that same drive, recalling back to her battle with the snake heel that had been fought down to a standstill. She could even recall the bruised ribs still from it as well.

In Yori's own retaliation, she'd bring back her right leg before attempting to smash her knee towards Sarnai's face.
