Fighting Style:
Listen I just keep things simple
If anyone knows Yang, they can all tell you that Yang is a brawler in every sense of the word. Strikes of all kind are Yang’s bread and butter. Slams are something she also keeps in her back pocket. With submissions being something she isn’t great at, but is still something she can do if she wants to mix up the opponent. Outside of that Yang wants to overwhelm her opponent with strikes until they hear a 10 count. Wait a pinfall in this case. Yang’s charisma is almost second to none. Opponents who aren’t even battle hungry like Yang, can my melted by this charisma of Yang. Making them want to fight Yang on her terms.
Going to say it once, I DON’T have an anger issue
I feel like you aren’t helping yourself here
Like you are one to talk
Hey guys lets just keep things nice and calm
NOT NOW RUBY
NOT NOW RUBY
Yeah definitely no anger issues her
As for weaknesses, even for all of her confidence. Yang can be given some trouble by opponents who are submission masters. Submissions are not her kryptonite but its something an opponent can use to get a leg up. The next weakness would have to be Yang’s mental state. Yang can seem like a fun having girl that just wants to punch faces in. Yang is very quick to anger though, so opponents great in psychological warfare can exploit Yang’s anger. Making this a double edge sword tactic, since Yang will be more aggressive, but on the other hand she tends to be more predictable.

Special States:
Not my idea to name itBut it sounds so cool!
Soul of a Dragon: Nothing mystical or like that. It is more of a mindset shift. But in important or serious matches. The longer the match goes and the more damage Yang takes, Yang ramps up. Getting faster, stronger and more effective. During normal matches or when Yang isn’t fully in it. This effect is lesser. The danger comes in that Yang has to sustain damage for this to come into effect.

Battle Stats:
Okay everyone get your scouters out
ITS OVER 9000
Strength: 9/10: Yang’s strong point right here. A brawler at heart and gym rat. Safe to say Yang has some muscle built on her.
Speed: 6/10: Not exactly speedy, so she isn’t catching the speedsters. Outside of that Yang can keep up with most people.
Stamina: 7/10:
Endurance: 10/10: Saying that Yang could take a punch is an understatement. If anything its like Yang wants to get punched in the face.
Defense: 7/10: Yang rolls with the punches, but in combination to a solid strike defense with her endurance. Yang can be a hard person to crack.
Technique: 6/10: Technique when it comes to strikes? Yang is basically a master that. But what knocks Yang down is the fact that her grappling or submissions aren’t the best.
Wrestling Stats:
Strikes: 10/10: Professional Boxer, Bare knuckle fighting, Underground fight club experience. Yeah I think Yang knows how to punch someone more than the average person.
Powerhouse 8/10: “You think these guns are for show?” Yang keeps things power oriented. Her punches wouldn’t hurt if she was weak. So this translates into extra points here.
Submissions 5/10: Honestly this stat should be lower, but in a complete opposite to Ruby. Yang knows the basic submission moves, but that’s her limit. The extra points come from her strength to lock in and keep in holds.
Counters 6/10: Counter punching is something Yang is very good at.
Aerials 4/10: Not exactly the high flyer Ruby is. But Yang definitely can jump off the ropes. Expect this especially if Yang’s ego is high during a match

Personality
What you see is what you get with meSadly that’s the case
- Spoiler:
- You can assign plenty of positive traits to Yang. She is energetic, carefree, bright, straight forward and confident. Yang is more mature than her personality lets on. Often taking the big sister role in many of her relationships. Yang is outgoing and extroverted, so extroverted that it can make people angry. Thanks to her time in the military though, she is focused and a good decision maker. The only negative would have to be Yang’s anger. While she has gotten better at controlling it, there are times where it gets the better of her. Making her completely volatile and violent, just don’t be on her bad side.

History:
Oh god now here comes the sob story- Spoiler:
- Yang always walked around like she had a chip on her shoulder. As if she always had something to prove. Despite her family being okay financially, having a roof over their heads, food to eat. Yang always felt like she had to defend her family. Yang’s father was a military vet that became a famous trainer after his service. Even though she was a child, Yang was always more mature than her age let on. She understood certain things that children her age shouldn’t really know about. The big thing that her mother Raven left her. Leaving Yang with some abandonment issues that she refuses to talk about. Yang always had a temper on her growing up, but this did little to help Yang. It didn’t take much provoking from the other kids to have Yang punching them soon after. Not the greatest student and constant trips to the principle’s office, anyone can see where this story was going. Yang’s father knew this very well and had an idea to filter out some of this rage. Yang would soon join her father’s gym. Taking some fighting lessons, at least this way she could point her rage at a punching bag. That or someone who could take her punches. This would help for a good amount of time. But as time passed and everyone was finding their way into colleges. Yang didn’t really care for it honestly, more content with just going with the win.
There would come a day though were someone decided it would be a good idea to bully her little sister Ruby. These individuals would find themselves vacationing at the hospital. With that said thought of course they would press charges on Yang. Their extensive injuries would add onto the validity of the charges. Luckily the charges would be dropped as the truth would come out. As she was only defending her sister rather than injuring these people maliciously. Yang’s father always knew that she had a temper on her. But he didn’t think that it would reach such volatile levels. Not quite sure what to do with Yang, he decided that she needed a much more rigid approach. An approach he couldn’t give Yang himself. So he would use his contacts to enroll Yang into the military. Hopefully in the military Yang would find a way to control her more violent tendencies. At least this way she would not turn into a delinquent or criminal.
Surprisingly enough, Yang did not oppose the decision. If anything she felt like it was coming. It wasn’t like Yang was doing a good job to control her anger. If there was anyone capable of doing it, it would have to be the military. Boot camp went exactly how you would expect. Yang barking at the drill sergeant, both of them butting heads. With the drill sergeant winning most of the time. Yang on the other hand would take the brunt of his punishments. But when Yang’s punishments weren’t enough, the drill sergeant decided it would be best to target the other recruits. This way they would also have to hold Yang accountable. So whenever Yang would be her usual self and fight back or disrespect commanding officers. Everyone including Yang would take the punishment. Back home her anger rarely came at a detriment to others. If anything it protected Ruby from the bullies. In this case though her anger was directly impacting the people around her. Yang didn’t hate the other recruits, if anything she was friends with some of them. So not wanting to hurt them or bring them down. Yang would pull back on her usual attitude. In moments where she would normally fight back or rips someone’s arm off. Yang would just hold her tongue and keep things controlled.
Despite this being a breach of protocol. Yang’s father would keep tabs on her daughter. Thankfully because his friends would inform him about Yang. Some stories he heard were honestly humorous, others had him worried. Most of all was when he heard the first time that Yang held back her rage. It was then he knew they were going in the right direction. Getting through the beginning stages, Yang would be given the time to go back home for an extended period of time. Once she did, it was like her family was seeing Yang for the first time. Much more mellow and calm, the bar was certainly raised to make Yang angry. Most important thing of all, Yang enjoyed her time training. It gave her a new look on things. Following this time off, when Yang went back, she would be stationed in a military base in California. Here she would finish her training and be sent on various missions. These missions Yang would exceed expectations and receive the attention of the higher branches. Promoting Yang appropriately and thus would be sent overseas to a military base in Germany.- Spoiler:
Yang’s time in Germany would take an interesting turn. She would get the newbie treatment in the base, not necessarily a hazing, but the comparisons are there. Outside of the normal patrol or the occasional mission. Life on the base was quiet. Yang was never one to like the quiet, but really being in a area like this. Yang had to be honest it was nice. One night Yang decided she would go out for a walk and take in some fresh air. She noticed that several officers were more rowdy than usual. Heading into the hanger that should be closed at this hour. Being curious about their destination. Yang decided to follow them, and what she found was something she would never have expected.- Spoiler:
It was a makeshift boxing ring with two officers beating the hell out of each other. The crowd was sizable enough, maybe 35-40% of the base was here. Yang even saw some betting taking place. This was a military fight club! Definitely interested in this, Yang asked around. Wanting to know more about the whole event. The answers she got ranged from “I’m not a snitch” to “Shut up, I’m enjoying the match” Telling she wouldn’t get any straight answers. Yang decided to just go with the flow and watch the event. The energy in the area was contagious, Yang was getting invested into the matches. Things would get even more interesting when one of the larger people in the base went in the ring. He had someone else with him, talking the bigger guy up. Talking him up so that someone in the crowd would fight him. Calling him things like “Super Heavyweight” or “Heavyweight Champ”. Naturally people began to talk amongst themselves. As if trying to offer someone up to fight the guy. Yang figured “What the hell” and volunteered for this match. Yang getting into the ring caused a big uproar. Yang would even stare her now opponent down and even shove him. Adding more gas to the fire and getting everyone amped up.
The rules of the match were VERY loose. Things normally not allowed in boxing were free game here. Yang got the beating of life time, but in the end it was worth it because she won. But explaining her injuries to her CO would be impossible. So she gave them a half truth in that she got into a fight. Getting off with a warning for the first time. Yang was given time to recover. With her performance the night before, Yang was the talk of the base. It was like everyone knew what she did, even if not everyone was there. Be it good or bad, Yang was approached about the fightclub. Being told all about it. Apparently they were running a little league in the base. Which even before she was offered. Yang wanted in on it. So on occasions were she was break from operations and missions. Yang would compete in the fightclub. Boy did she compete, it didn’t long for Yang to gain a following and even becoming the inaugural champ of the league. But the more famous Yang got the more likely the higher ups were to hear about it. Thinking she would be discharged with everyone involved. The higher ups actually liked the idea, it was a good way to keep morale up. It would just have to be kept quiet from the boss’s bosses. Yang loved every match she was in, it was a feeling she wouldn’t trade in for anything. That was when one of her closest friends joked that Yang could make a comfortable living doing this. Thinking back to her family, Yang was always one to look out for them. Even if she shouldn’t be doing so.
Yang actually loved the idea of getting into combat sports. Yang says combat sports over boxing because she didn’t want to limit herself. That said Yang would serve out the rest of her four years. Leaving the army to pursue a life of combat sports. First she would go home and spend some time with her family. But Yang was never one to stay in one place for so long. So Yang and her father were quick to get her boxing career started. It started slow with little matches to build her name and record. Yang built her name on ending careers of other boxers with how hard her punches can me.During the downtime, to get her fighting fix, Yang went into underground fight clubs. Even competing in UFC since Yang was becoming a hot commodity. It didn’t take long for Yang to rise in the ranks of boxing. Getting her title shot and winning that title.
Yang being Yang though she didn’t take kindly to the lack of matches the promoters were getting her. So wanting to expand her horizons she relinquished her title. Now wanting to expand her horizons even further. Fighting the best of the bests, which is reason enough as to why Yang is with LAW.
