"Silver Ace" Haley Cote vs "La Parca" Maria Castillo - The March of Time

There was at least a dozen moves that Ace knew too expect from the opening parts of a match, wrestlers tended to start matches using a limited number of similar moves. Arm drags, snapmares, so on, all that sort of things.

A curb stomp...was not one of these things.

Just as Ace was getting back to her feet, something, Maria's foot she would later learn, came down on the back of her head, driving the face-painted warrior down face first into the mat, her body jerking upwards upon impact before falling flat, the crowd letting out a shocked gasp as the former champion was curb stomped into the mat by the crafty veteran, only a minute into the match!

The curb stomp was the culmination of months of frustrations in AFW. Maria the target, Maria the loser, Maria the incapable. She was hell bent on showing Ace who the reaper was the moment that bell rang.

No mercy or remorse. She'd fight with honor, but that wasn't going to mean she was going to pull her punches.

Maria reached down, grabbing Ace by the chin and peeling her body off the canvas. Clasping onto one shoulder, Maria let out a savage cry, bringing her leg up for a few stinging snap kicks right to the chest!!!

Ok, that settled it. Ace was going to use her shiny monies, buy a time machine, and tell her younger self to beat Maria down hard, just to avoid taking that curb stomp 15 years later, cause that hurt like helllllllll.

For now though, since she currently lacked the ability to time travel, all Ace really could do is lay on the mat, groaning while time machines danced around her field of vision, being knocked for a loop by that curb stomp. Luckily, Maria was nice enough to help the fallen silver haired fighter to her knees, leaned over in a crouching position as Ace tried to shake off the-SMACK!

"AGH!"

Ace cried out, as her chest was nailed on with a brutally hard kick, followed by another, and another, Maria wasting no time in bringing the pain on the former Entropy and Hardcore champion with a series of kicks while she was still dazed!
