SRW Specials: Meet n Greetin' the Earthshaker!

Croo-El wanted to beat Hathiya down, that much was clear. But few noticed the fact that the Croc was using the table to strike out at her foe rather than her tail or fists. Without a doubt, an armored tailed or muscle packed punch would have been more effective then a simple table. But it was clear why after Hathiya completely obliterated the table, leaving only a table leg in Croo-El’s hand. The Croc growled, but actually retreated a few steps! She was clearly affected by Hathiya’s sudden aura and hard glare. Some of the splinters of wood bounced off her scales, the pointed edges causing small pricks of pain, but Croo-El was too focused on Hathiya to notice.

“What the-? Stupid freaking CHEAP ASS FURNATURE!”

Croo-El would throw the table leg in her hand at Hathiya, not getting any closer. It seemed she wasn’t about to attack the enraged Earthshaker. Most people could recognize fear in another creature, and Croo-EL was starting to show some signs.

The flying table leg towards Hathiya's face found itself getting caught by her trunk, making a slap sound of wood smacking hard skin.

The trunk tightened itself around the leg, and the wood snapped, the table leg now 3 pieces as two piece fell to the floor with a wooden sound, while the trunk coiled around the wooden part it had. Then it opened, revealing she had turned the piece into sawdust.

Hathiya took a single step forward, and the ground shook again. Except unlike the other times, where it felt like a tremor but it had some energy that would surprise or excite people, this tremor felt far more ominous.

It had a strange rumble noise, sounding almost alive. And whatever that noise was, however one would call it, sounded like a beast. A beast that had just been disturbed from it's slumber. Not helping that Hathiya's footstep also caused several of the ceiling lights to flicker, with the red dots in her eyes where the pupils are still glowing in the dark, piercing right into Croo-El's eyes.

Hathiya's eyes never blinked. They never looked away. The hateful, rage filled looking eyes just kept staring down at the croc. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. And Hathiya's soul it seemed right now was very, very angry.

The table leg flew through the air like a dart, ready to nail Hathiya right in the head! But the table leg only got so close before being snatched out of the air by Hathiy’s trunk and broke in half instantly! When Hathiya relaxed her trunk, what little remnants of the table leg that remained in her grasp had turned to dust, slowly falling to the ground as Hathiya took a step towards her opponent. The earth shook, just like her nickname implied, but this time it was much more violent than the one that Hathiya did at the start of the meet and greet. This one felt more malicious than anything, and that feeling was all directed at the cold blooded fighter. Croo-El actually stood her ground, her tail helping her balance against the ground's violent shaking. Hathiya had beaten her once before, but Croo-El hadn’t expected such a reaction from the bubbly newcomer. Croo-El scowled, slamming her own tail onto the ground.

“The hell’s your problem? If you’re gonna do something, then DO IT! Let’s let everyone see what you’re really capable of when you get in a fit~”

Croo-El raised her fists, looking ready to take things to a slobber knocker, full on brawl right then and there!

Hathiya came to a stand still. The red dots in her eyes glinting, staring directly at Croo-El. Her stance, with one foot forward, and her arms on either side, seemed like she was ready to suddenly strike out. Who could imagine what she was about to do next? Would Croo-El actually be left standing at all after this?!

So color everyone's shock when Hathiya....took a deep sigh and closed her eyes. Her brows were still knit into a frown, and she was now shaking in anger. The floor under her suddenly cracked, which caught some people watching offguard, as she relaxed and opened her eyes. Now she had returned to normal. The same gentle, kind face (though still frowning) had returned. And so had her voice.

"....no." she said with a notable tone of annoyance in her voice.

Everyone was waiting! Everyone was wondering just what might happen. Hathiya’s muscles were tense! Like she was going to launch a fist or a tackle at any moment! The added stress caused the floor to crack underneath the weight, and the entire crowd took a few extra steps back! But no one could take their eyes off the prospective fight! The curiosity was simply too strong! Croo-El had the guts to continue egging Hathiya on, and for a split second it looked like the fight was about to commence!

But something of a miracle occurred. Despite everything, Hathiya seemed to relax. The Earthshaker closed her eyes for a moment, the hateful aura around her dissipating before opening them again. The terrifying glare was gone! Hathiya’s gentle gaze had returned, though her voice still had a touch of disappointment. In a single word, she threw Croo-El off more than that terrifying display, flat out denying the fight.

“N…No?” The croc stuttered, clearly confused, “THE HELL DO YOU MEAN NO?!”

The Croc suddenly threw all caution to the wind and stepped right up to Hathiya, looking her right in the eyes!

“Don’t tell me that whole show was just an act! You said you were up for a rematch, then ran off like a rat in a hole! Then you think you can just try to scare me off, and give up?!?! The hell you are!”

Hathiya let Croo-El finish what she had to say, and then replied,

"Yes. When I said I can get you a rematch, I meant it. All we had to do...was ask. I'd be willing to respect whatever timing Eros gave. Anytime. Anywhere." Then she frowned. "So mark my words when I say what you just saw was not an act. You almost killed someone, a child, because of your impatience. You should be glad they didn't die. I wouldn't have found something to calm down over, and...." then she paused for a bit, and sighed, resuming, "...all I'm gonna say is you would prefer me like this rather than that. So please. Before you call me a rat running into a hole, remember you're the coward attacking me from behind." She said the last bit with a tone of irritation.

Croo-El, despite being a clear hot head, actually had the patience to let Hathiya speak. The only noticeable reaction was when Hathiya brought up Eros, which got the Crocodile woman to roll her eyes in annoyance. But once the Ganeeshay was finisher with her small speech, Croo-El only scoffed and smacked the ground with her tail once again.

“Little Warden’s pet! Do you ask her when you can shit and eat too?!” The Croc snapped, almost looking like she was going to lunge at Hathiya’s face!

“If I got something to say, I don’t use a middleman! And if there's someone that deserves an ass whooping, then I’m going to deliver it personally. It’s not my fault you were absorbing the limelight from these losers when I found you. Or was this something the Cat put you up to too?”

Croo-El’s teeth gleamed as she glared right into Hathiya’s eyes, probably knowing more than she should about Eros and Hathiya’s connection. The Head Warden never showed much interest in one individual. It made the Ganeeshay suspicious for a number of reasons. An outburst like Hathiya’s earthshaking should have caused a swarm of guards to arrive. Yet it was still just the crowd and the two fighters. Only adding to Croo-El’s frustration before she eventually shouldered Hathiya aside.

“You’re too trusting. It pisses me off! Just hurry up and get the cat to schedule the fight already! Or I’ll do this again!”

And indeed a swarm of guards arrived! They were a bit late (or too late) but the fighters found themselves being surrounded on both sides by armed guards (numbering at least 50) wearing armor that was clearly designed to protect against blunt force trauma. Though whether it would've been any good is questionable. The guards were all carrying a variety of stun weapons, ranging from tranquilizers to shock lances for poking at troublesome people from a safe distance.

And then, right from among the midst of these guards, a figure popped out. He wasn't particularly tall, but his figure was noteworthy. Namely, his hair being a bushel of leaves with some odd purple flowers growing in them, his face a texture of wood with what seemed like carve lines that were in the shape of a face. He wore a sharp, black suit with a white shirt and a black tie, and on his chest was a lapel. It was the lapel of a Wardens Acolyte, and this one was one known among the employees as one of Eros' secretaries. The plant man Cirkot.

Cirkot had a rather jittery stance. It seemed he couldn't stop twitching and shaking for some reason, yet when he spoke, it was a calm and young voice speaking out that contrasted his rather erratic standing stance.

"Enough, ladies!" Cirkot demanded in a calm but firm voice. "Croo-El, you've had your fun for now. Hathiya, that's enough for today's Meet n Greet. Both of you have caused enough of a scene for today. Save it up for the ring, will you?"

Hathiya simply folded her arms, saying, "All right then. I will." She stared hard into Croo-El's eyes. "I'll try to get us the biggest arena that can fit the most people in, so everyone can watch you make an arrogant fool out of yourself again. How about that?"

Suddenly, guards would arrive and swarm the two fighters. Leading them was some grass root looking thing. Croo-El hadn’t seen one of these things before. But seeing it jitter around like a broken puppet and being half her size didn’t interest the Croc wrestler. There were dozens of guards, all with tranquilizers or stun batons just waiting for them to make a move. Only a few were pointed at Hathiya, while a majority of them were pointing at Croo-El. The Croc clicked her tongue, crossing her arms under her chest as Hathiya promised to humble the Croc in the rematch.

“Don’t think things will be so easy.” She hissed, before turning away and leaving.

Almost the instant Croo-El left and Cirkot told the guards to begin escorting the guests out, a cheerful snicker erupted behind them. Poking her head into view was Eros’s bright yellow eyes and Warden cap and cat ears. There was a sweet smile on her face as she arrived with a teacup in her hand, its gentle fragrance wafting in the air for Hathiya and Cirkrot to smell. Catnip tea, with Eros taking a sip from her cup. Her tail twitched from the taste before her eyes turned to Hathiya.

“Well, that was certainly an exciting way to announce a rematch, wasn’t it?” She purred, tilting her head as the guards began helping the guests leave.

“A bit of a sad end for the first Meet and Greet…but I’m sure it will get people talking~”

Cirkot's eyes widened incredulously. His usual jitteriness seemed to increase, and he even pulled his collar a bit. "W...you were right around the corner, ma'am? B-but I thought you said you were here with her! I came here because I thought you needed....." he sputtered. His calm tone had evaporated and a nervous one seemed to emerge. Cirkot then sighed.
"Gotta admit, this would become the talk of the town for the next week or so. Maybe longer? At least worth a Pay Per View."

But Hathiya seemed focused on some other factor. She stared at Eros.

"How....how long were you there?"
