SRW: Velvela vs Croo-El! The Wolf and the Croc!

Another night, another fight! Eros happily hummed to herself as she walked into the commentators booth and sat back in her comfy reclining chair. Everything had been going swimmingly since she had taken over the reins of the SRW, and the Overseer was pleased with her progress in the institution. Each fight was an even bigger hit than the last, and while some viewership numbers were higher than others, they were consistently high no matter what! After all, who wouldn’t want to see who would win between species A or species B? It’s a question everyone has in their head at some point in their lives, and the SRW was there to fulfill that question! And they had been doing it well for the past few years now~

Tonight would be no exception! As Eros turned on her microphone for the crowd!

“Welcome back to the SRW, fighting fans! Today we have a special serving of nasty to show you as we debut one fighter and pit them against one of the most terrible, cruel opponents we have in our roster~”

The cheers that roared up made Eros’s heart flutter. Nothing like the appreciation of the people of Tsubar to make work worth it. Eros was an entertainer at heart, and while she had a bit of a mischievous side it always felt nice receiving positive feedback.

“Well, since we are all so excited, let's skip the pleasantries and get straight to the fighters! Let's keep the debuting fighter a surprise and show you all whom she is up against~”

Suddenly, the doorway at the top of the ramp to the ring exploded outwards! The door was shattered into pieces as it crashed down the metal ramp, leading everyone to focus on the large imposing figure that stepped on through! A large gator woman with a mouth filled with sharp teeth emerged from the doorway. Smiling a hostile smile and looking like a dangerous monster over a fighter, the creature let out a hissing roar that startled the audience.

“And that, our viewing public, is tonight's first fighter! A gator wrestler from a species once thought to be extinct, our very own rough and rampaging roughhouser, Crop-El!”

“WHERE IS SHE! WHO’M I SUPPOSED TA FIGHT?! TELL HER IF SHE TRIES TO RUN, I’LL FIND HER IN THE BACK!!!”

The crocodile woman was clearly aggressive, already cracking her huge fists and looking around for her opponent. She stomped down the ramp, denting the metal somewhat as she did so before pulling herself into the ring and grabbing a microphone.

“HEY! If you're hiding back there, then hurry up and come out! I’m gonna finish you off quick and SWALLOW YOU IN ONE GULP!”

Eros rolled her eyes before clarifying “This is a standard match Croo-El. No biting or eating or anything like that. But back to the matter at hand! Let's introduce our next opponent, shall we~?”

Originally, the match was going to be for Yori, a favored wrestler of the organization, but was still on leave due to her injuries sustained from her match against the serpent submissionist Nagana. This sort of situation was perfect for Velveta as someone that could now be allowed to compete, being cleared by the organization to compete. The white furred wolfess had been eagerly waiting like a hunter about to pounce on their pray as finally she was told to come down to wrestle against her fated opponent.

"I'm right here," she'd call down, not from the entrance ramp but from the stairs among the crowd overlooking the arena in a surprise entrance for herself. Let alone, the fact that her voice was able to carry far and aloud with any sort of micing, one that denoted a power that hushed the audience as she came down stairs, making her way to the ring and over the railing that divided the crowd away. Surely a spectacle as a few more educated wrestling fans recognized her as an indie league favorite. Everyone else getting a good look at her strong body, covered in snow white fur and dressed in garnments that seemed just as punkish any person on the roughest of streets.

With great agility, she'd hop over the top rope, using the ropes to help her over, "So what dump they brought you out of ugly," she spoke as she stood with one hand at her hip. She was definitely not a heel by any means, but sure as Hell wasn't a face, "No offense, I'm sure you already know."

Croo-El rolled her eyes as Eros reminded her about the rules. Such silly rules for a fight between two warriors. In her culture, whoever’s teeth were sharper and fought the hardest was the one who was victorious. These cushy rules that kept her from tearing into her opponent was something like a handicap already, but one that would be welcomed if the fight was exhilarating enough. The opponent assigned to her had better been up for the challenge, because Croo-El was too irritated and energetic to hold much back. The reptilian wrestler was already calling her out, wanting the fight to have begun and hissing at all of the stupid showmanship on display. And when her opponent finally stepped out, the scaly sadist's shoulders slumped.

“You’re fluffy?!? GAH!!! You’re more of a furball than a meal!!!”

Crop-El’s tail slammed the arena’s floor enough to send a vibration through the seats of the first few rows as she glared at Velvela from the arena. The wolf's insults bounced off of the larger fiend, though the crowd seemed to eat it up!

“Well well, I suppose the audience have already picked their favorite for this match~”

Croo-El growled at the unwanted commentary before clenching her fists and glaring at Velvela.

“FINE! I ain’t gonna suffer a furball trying to swallow you, but I’ll enjoy tearing each and every fiber of your fur off of you!”

"Yea right scaley, I doubt you are beating me tonight. I think I'll send you back to whatever swamp you came from. In fact, I think I'd rather be fighting that fox girl that's making the rounds, or maybe cute little tiger boy. He's not bad for a shrimp," Velvela remarked as she danced around the ring, throwing her jacket to a ring post before throwing out some light practice punches. It was clear that she didn't want to fight her, only going seemingly going for it out of sheer curiosity.

She seemed like a sort of boxer type, light and bouncing on her feet, but being so green here in the ring meant that she was a rather unknown quantity. However, so was Croo-El, and the crowed wasn't sure what to expect from the two as they stared down each other, gearing to fight one another, "Now if you don't want to be my new purse, you better quit while your ahead."

“Well everyone! The fighters are here and ready to battle! SO! With introductions out of the way, Let the match commence!”

As the bell went off, Crop-El seemed to finally smile as the fight could finally get started! This Velvela girl was writing checks with her mouth that she probably couldn’t cash, but the seven foot tall crocodile woman aimed to collect anyways as she pounded her fist into her hand. The wolf girl was shadow boxing, getting her muscles warmed up for the incoming Croc! Too bad for her Croo-El was already warmed up from the adrenaline of a fight! Her energy was burned away as she rushed towards the white wolf before the echoes of the bell had even died down! Her powerful claw pulled back like a medieval catapult ready to launch a vicious blow against Velva’s silky white face!

“I’ll show you “ahead” when I tear yours from your shoulders!”

If the words between the two were already heated, then the match itself was definitely going to be a show. Vevela was staring down her opponent like a skilled hunter, and while knew that she wasn't going to be an easy foe to take down, she made sure to try and get into the Reptilians head. She'd mock her, refusing to see her like an equal, even if it wasn't the case as the wolfess blocked the oncoming strike expertly. Though, it was not without issue, Croo-El's strike was strong, and pain began to swell on her arms afterwards.

"You gotta be quicker than that!" she'd taunt, dahsing forward to fake out a punch before coming back.

Croo-El came at Velvela surprisingly quickly for her size, the ancestors of the Crocodile people being known to wait for their prey to come to them. But just like their ancestors, it seemed Croo-El could use her tail to help her spring forward at shocking speed to take her opponents off guard. When the rough and cold blooded heel swiped at the fluffy fiend, she had every intention of knocking her out right then and there! When her strike landed, the reptilian renegade actually seemed surprised that Velvela was still standing, much less that the fluffy wolf managed to mitigate most of the force of the blow. Crop-EL was already hostile, but Velvela’s quick taunt seemed to slip right under the crocodile woman’s thick, armored skin! Her pupil’s shrank into a primal rage as Velvela dashed into the crocs' defense!

The silver wolf went right, but suddenly jumped left just as Croo-El’s head turned to track her! A fist came around and scored a flush strike against the beast's death maw! Croo-El’s head was forced to the side, actually knocking her off balance and causing her to stumble! If it weren’t for the crocodile woman’s tail quickly moving to balance herself, it was Possible Croo-El might have toppled over.

Predatory eyes flashed at Velvela as a disgusting hiss slipped through the dozens of pointed, sharp teeth in Croo-El’s mouth! The croc had been taken off guard, and now she was very angry! But on the bright side, she seemed to be taking Velvela seriously now.

“Hit hard for a furball! But if that’s your only trick, you’re gonna get torn to shreds~”

Velvela backed away after executing the punch. The fake out had been a complete success, having smashed a fist right into Croo-El's face with a simple ease, making them essentially dead even in the hits department. The white fox would keep moving her feet, ever spry and ready to fight as she stared her opponent down. She'd throw out to more punches into the air, a test to show how quick her fists could be as she clearly had a boxing style.

"Hopefully I can show you a few more. You're not going to like it however," she'd smirk, knowing that she could do this all day if she had to, essentially just playing a game of keep away. It wasn't that she couldn't grapple with the croc, Velvela could do well so with it. More so, she didn't seem to care, her nonchalant style of battle clashed with the fierce lizards.

So, Velvela was fast. Big whoop! If the laid back boxer wanted to be intimidating, she had a long road ahead of her. Preferably, one that ended in the Croc woman’s jaws! The Wolf’s fists were blunt, but Croo-El’s thick scales were practically body armor! Impacts like that were easy to tank, especially for someone almost double the white furball’s size! While Velvela was shadow boxing, Croo-El aimed to simply strike the ground with her tail, proving its strength and durability by creating a small, cracked crater of an impact site! The crocodile wrestler knew what Velvela’s game was, and she understood all she had to do was get her claws on her, and this match was finished!

“I’m gonna tear you to pieces, and use your fur to decorate furniture, Hairball~”

Croo-El would march forward, ticked off from the previous blow. Rather than attack with her claws and jaws, she instead used her tail's long reach and swung it at the pugilist pup! The force wasn’t enough to break any bones, but that was the only mercy Croo-El spared, hoping to hit Velvela dead on!

Velvela kept to her footwork, trying to keep herself away from Croo-El and work her down a peg or two. It was honestly easier said than done. At what first she thought was going to be a strike turned into something far different as the gator's tail impacted down upon the ground, creating a small crater where it landed and causing the wolf to stumble back as she was not prepared for it fall dangerously close to her feet. Even if it was likely not as powerful as her blows, it was still something to fear as she would be correct.

It was like a whip, hitting before she could bring her arms to block, striking her off her feet and into the ropes behind her, "You gotta be serious," she spoke with gritted teeth. A red welt where she was stroke across her bare stomach, showing through the fur.
