SS22 Rising Star Championship - Maria Castillo vs. Alizeh Midori

Maria knew this was her only chance to truly put the hurt on Alizeh. Her speed and youth offered her a distinct advantage, and she couldn't exactly afford to pass up on this opening. If she faltered even for a moment, it would give her goddaughter a chance to blitz her once more with finishers!

Grabbing Alizeh by the wrist, she dragged up the challenger to her knees before throwing a kick right for her jaw! But she maintained control over the wrist, not allowing Alizeh to crumble before hitting a few more solid kicks!

Getting knocked flat on her back from Maria's elbow strike, the blow catching her totally off guard and leaving her stunned for whatever the older woman may try. Which was why as her hands were grabbed by her godmother Alizeh was helplessly pulled up and struck full force with a kick to the jaw! "Ugh!" Alizeh groaned out, her dazed state not being helped by the blow and worse yet she was kept aloft and was left open to a barrage of kicks now digging into her body from Maria, helpless to do anything about them!

Maria felt she had something to prove, not just to Alizeh, but to every woman in the back. So many people judge her for her age, her absence from the wrestling scene, her validity and claim to this championship. But she was determined to drill into their heads that Maria wasn't going to give in until her body was battered and beaten to the point of exhaustion.

Dragging Alizeh up, she ducked down to sling her goddaughter across her shoulders, before tossing her up to hit the KISS OF THE REAPER, with the knee coming up to strike at the girl's jaw in a possible KNOCK OUT BLOW!

Kept dazed and on her knees at Maria's mercy Alizeh was helpless to the woman as she began delivering kick after kick into Alizeh's jaw, knocking her back again and again, making her dazed state worse with each second! In fact had it not been for the grip holding her upright she'd have likely collapsed backwards long ago!

Dragged up to her feet as near dead weight Alizeh was left all too easy for Maria to sling across her shoulders as the woman stood to her full height! Kicking her legs about weakly in the woman's grip Alizeh could do nothing as she was suddenly taken off Maria's shoulders just as soon as she'd been pulled across them... and left to get a knee driven into her jaw courtesy of Maria! Shooting up to her feet for a moment Alizeh would go cross eyed before tilting backwards and collapsing backwards on the mat, seemingly knocked out!

Maria watched her goddaughter collapse after the GTS, and barely even a second later, the veteran collapsed atop her. Sweat coated her exposed skin, and her breathing was ragged from the sheer beating the pair had wrought upon one another. A part of her felt bad for having to use one of her strongest moves on Alizeh, but she knew the young woman would never forgive her for taking it easy in her title match.

Groaning, she reached out and draped an arm over Alizeh's chest, head resting on her stomach as the ref slid in, "ONE......TWO....."

"THREE!!!"

The GTS landed and lived up to its name with complete effectiveness, leaving Alizeh out of it on the mat, motionless as the ref made the three count with not a single sign of life or fight from Alizeh. Despite a strong start that seemingly nearly led to a total victory, it had slipped from her fingers, Maria's experience and persistence paying off to its fullest as it now won her the rising star championship!
