Bridgette appreciates the art of flying in the ring. She tends to use the ropes and high flying techniques but she won’t shy away from the pummeling when she knows she won’t catch hell for it. She’s an opportunist at its finest and uses her engineering knowledge to set herself up for success with her top rope maneuvers. Her approach is innocent until shown guilty, expect a lot of acting before the punch.

Personality:
She has a very innocent demeanor but she’s anything other than that. Just like the Tanuki’s she obsesses over, she’s a trickster through and through. She pulls pranks, gets up to no good and laughs about it while doing it too. Bridgette tends to be very laid back when she’s by herself, only acting out when opportunities present themselves or if she’s planned the prank in advance.

History/Biography:
Bridgette was born to a moderate family in a small town in Wisconsin, her father worked hard at the factory while her mother took care of her and her two brothers. The youngest of three, Bridgette worked hard to meet her family’s expectations through their struggles. It wasn’t until she got into anime that she became obsessed over Japanese culture, more so, Tanuki’s. For most of her childhood, she always tried her best to be this rigid, perfect girl her mother wanted but deep down, that wasn’t her. She felt she’d found herself the more she learned about Tanuki’s and how they were depicted as nuisances or tricksters; playing pranks and getting up to no good. Bridgette would often paint a black face mask onto her face, the sort of old time robbers would wear and wreak havoc in her home, toppling pictures, pillows scattered across the room. She’d get into so much trouble that she practically stayed grounded all throughout her middle school and early high school years.

Along with her absurd obsession with the mischievous critters, she had another love in her life: wrestling. Bridgette would sneak into her brothers room while her parents were away to watch matches with them. Of course they would never sell out their younger sister, not when she had dirt on the both of them. She couldn’t exactly tell you what it was she liked about it. Maybe it was the hardcore action or possibly the storytelling? If anyone had to guess, it was most likely the heels that caught her attention the most. She had a knack for falling for villains, most of her favorite anime characters happened to be villains. She loved the dastardly ones, the handsome ones, the diabolical and heartless, the goofy and clumsy ones. Each of them found a place in her heart and that was no different when she lost herself in the world of wrestling. Despite her want to be the quirky villain type, Bridgette was still out occasionally putting up her perfect girl persona. In school,although usually in trouble, she excelled in mathematics and was apart of the honors society program there. She managed to keep A’s in all her classes giving her a high GPA for college.

For a while, Bridgette wasn’t even sure she wanted to go to college, her dreams of becoming a nefarious villain, a trickster in the ring that all fans could hate and adore. It wasn’t until she put her math skills to the test with a heinous prank that she realized first and foremost that she had the potential to become an engineer. Using that knowledge her pranks and plots would be on an even grander scale. Under the guise of wanting to seek out a higher education, the Tanuki obsessed girl was able to find a college rather easily with the scholarships she had coming in the mail. She had a plan to get away from home and carry out her actual plan and get her degree at the same time. Her sights were set in Arizona and in the five years she worked her tail off to get her degree she was also training to become a professional wrestler. Villains had a secret identity too when it benefitted and Bridgette was going to have her dream one way or the other. It was honestly grueling work to do both. The late night classes and the mid day workouts followed by training. More often than not, she would collapse in her dorm room after such a grueling day. It took her a bit of practice to cover her bruises too so no one would ask where she got them. Around half way through her third year, Bridgette took a massive step in her career. Her first wrestling match in Arizona was something she looked forward to for a long time. She felt ecstatic to be the person she was meant to be and this is where she learned it was going to be a dream worth fighting for.

Her opponent was her fellow rookie in training, a girl named Samantha. Blonde and small, she was the perfect vic-, opponent for the Tanuki to take on. Bridgette had put her usual soft and innocent face on, luring the woman into a false sense of security until it was time to act. Not many people in the crowd seemed to be on her side when she let poor Samantha have it, especially near the end when the arena was filled with the sound of conks from her toy hammer, hitting their head again and again after all the punishment they had to endure only to be humiliated with a toy at the end. Needless to say she earned a bad rep with the audience with the help of her unknowing foe. Of course Bridgette wasn’t a total monster, she pranked the blonde with a cream filled pie to the face the next day as an apology and after much convincing, they accepted.

At the age of twenty-three, Bridgette finally held her degree high, basking in all its glory and the possibilities that would come with it. All throughout the last two and a half years, she had managed to keep her double life from her mother, of course her brothers had found out but they’d never tell on their little sister, who had grown to be much more…trigger happy with her pranks. She had also picked up cosmetics as well from her dorm mate who loved the chaos just as much as her. While the two weren’t close by any means, they had helped each other out through their studies. Bridgette had taught them the art of war with her pranks and helped them with their math homework while they helped her learn more about makeup and the art of deception through latex face masks. She had managed to fool an entire class disguised as the professor before the actual professor arrived and sent her to her seat. Little by little her transformation into a Tanuki was coming ever so close.

In her search for a job to keep her secret hidden, a curious invitation found its way to her, something she couldn’t pass up. An organization called AFW had scouted her, she was rather intrigued with the thought of wrestling full time and the hope that she’d get to pull all her stunts and toy with so many people made her heart flutter. She grinned ear to ear when she expressed to her parents she had gotten a job overseas, of course embellished so that her actual plans wouldn’t be interrupted. With a fierce hug goodbye, she’d leave to travel to Japan and make something of herself there. The Tanuki inside her was just waiting to come out!

Trivia:
-Bridgette had a small collection of Tanuki inspired merch that she has set up in her apartment. A little being over 200 items.
-She loves spicey food but hates Dark Chocloate
-In her apartment, she has a secret room where she works on her disguises, she has notes, materials, and a security system in place.
-She has another secret room where she makes her prank plans.
-On all her clothes that she doesn’t use for disguises, there’s a striped violet Tanuki tail on every single pair of pants she owns. Her ears are magnetic and stuck to a hidden headband in her hair.
