Romance of the Shadow Furries

The rope was harder than she thought it would be, only getting through the first of the braids as she worked tirelessly. Likewise, her parents did much the same, all trained classically as ninja and shinobi, "So when were you going to tell us," her mother pryed, looking over to Yori.

"Mooom," she let out, Hairou is just... well... a friend."

As the wolf and cat traveled through the night, they quickly entered the property bounds. Two sentries stood waiting on the outskirts of the woods. Two rabbits, one with a baseball bat and the other sitting lazily with headphones watched for any intruders.

The wolf ninja was sitting crouched on top of a tree top gazing down at these goon-like people who smelled fishy. He never saw such individuals lurking around the city or even the town he resided in and not to mention the Takibi estate boundaries. Unsure what to choose Hairou would hop down as he walked leisurely towards the bat wielding bunny man thinking they might be just little punk kids playing at night

Waving "Hello there. Might I ask who the two of you doing around the Takibi's estate?" He hoped they might answer a few questions to what happened to Yori's weird phone call

"The new owners," spoke the one with headphones as he pulled them off. The rabbit seemed to be still surprised by the sudden introduction of this unknown intruder and seemed to be far more attentive now, "And we don't take too kindly to tresspassin'."

He pulled out a butterfly knew from his pocket, flicking and playing with it in his hands before his buddy would charge forward with the bat, attempting to swing it right at the wolf's head.

Hairou would be a little bit put off by the behaviors of these little goons who thought of themselves rivaling his prowess. Such an exabit of hostility was weird for the grey wolf as he viewed these rabbit boys like some kinda villains from a movie who acted tough yet lacked any kind of strength, raising his muscular arm and simply letting the wooden bat crash into splinters as he gazed back at the bunny man with a clumsy an unamused expression "Hmmmm.....that was awkward"

Those were his words before whipping his fist into the bunny's snout with a loud wetty crunch as the poor bun was flung rotating away with a red trail behind him and then tumbling on the ground. Hairo would gaze sharply at the mic bun giving his the stinky look with cracked fists and slowly strolling towards him "Indeed, I don't like trespassers too......."

He'd swing the bat, aiming straight for Hairou's face, thinking it would very well put the wolf out. It didn't. Instead, was smashed into pieces and soon received a punch directly to the center of his face. It knocked him out immediately, hurtling him back to fall upon the ground. He wouldn't be waking up anytime soon with a blow like that. The other bunny stood there in utter shock before he also charged forward.

"You're dead meat bub!"

At that moment Hairou was not having any more of this street gang bs as charged at the last bunny standing. And by charged it seemed like he teleported right in front of him. With how everything was dark at night and the wolf shinobi towering over the bunny guy, Hairou's dark silhouette showed how much anger was lurking inside his body with only his golden eyes could be seen glaring down at his enemy, or probably prey at this point.

Both his hands would clasp the gangster's cheeks with his thumbs inserted inside his mouth. The goon could feel the claws of Hairou scratching across his bunny skin and fur as his face was slowly being stretched apart as if planning to rip him to shreds. "So.....care to explain why the likes of you are lurking around this place? And please.....don't test me" A small almost silence growl could be heard that was vibrating from the wolf man's who was struggling not to massacre these low lives.

The still standing bunny gangster looked like all the blood from his face had disappeared, Hairou gripping around his face like he about to crush it like a tomato. He didn't know who the Hell this person was, but whomever he had frightened him to no end, "Please don't, I just got into the Kamisori gang just a week ago man," his eyes looking into his like he was about to cry, "Boss said we...we gonna force these folk that live here to... sign the land to us... sell off the land for good money..."

A bunny laid out unconscious as Yori fixed herself up. She had taken a beating, her mother doing her best to bandage her and her father who had seemingly felt better. What the gangster didn't know was that the basement had plenty of supplies and other ninja tools of the Takibi that could be put to good use, including a certain trademark outfit. All geared up and ready to go, she still wasn't in the best of shape. That didn't stop Yori however.

"Ma, dad, stay here. I'm not going to let these people take our home," she spoke, making sure ball at her the end of hair tail was on snug. Ointment had done its best, but she still flinched slightly in pain after taking such a beating as she slowly made her way up the steps. Her parents knew so as well, making way towards a secret passage blocked by a bookcase. A tunnel that led to the old wine cellar not to far away.

Yori knew this home like the back of her hand, creeping through as shadows of the afternoon played their tricks in the dimly lit manor home. Few lights were on, the ones that were snuffed out as she'd silently take out bunny hoodlums and gangsters that patrolled around, finally making way towards the dojo, now converted into a partial family room and shrine. The fox woman would take steps in, hoping that they hadn't touched what she thought they'd had taken.

Hairou would somewhat calm down yet boiling with an inner wrath lnner wrath that these scumbags were scheming something against the Takibi family and it was selling their household by force nonetheless. Who does that at this age and century the wolf thought. Well, hopefully he'll find out soon enough.

Not seeing any uses of this little bun since he was mostly a grunt Hairou decided it was best to let him sleep for the moment for unwanted alarm attention with a pinpointed hand chop into his neck forcing the grunt into a less pained sleep than his partner as he fell on his like a broken twig. Hairou would glare at the estate that's main house that was a bit fat but still viewable, squinting his eyes as the tension around his body was starting to spike him with hyper goosebumps, vanishing with a speedy dashy to see what's actually happening. His partner Kuro be behind standing and gazing at the sleepy grunts before following in pursuit of wolf partner.

With how many bunnies were laying around the estate it was clear the security measures were as lame as it can get, hiring these goons was a waste of money and recourses at this point and the big boss should really consider another option.

The main entrance to the dojo was guarded by the giant sumo panda who basically was used as a meat cage for Yori thus far, standing placing his arms his hoodie's pocket and hoping this boring shift would end.

The panda had not seen her yet, slowly creeping above in the shadowy rafters as she looked down at the Panda. A simple strike could take him out simple as that, all she had to do was get close enough to descend down upon him. That was the true ninja way, but even then, if she had to get into a prolonged fight, she could definitely last a few rounds. However, that was when she wasn't as injured. It was there that she leaped down, spinning down with the thick sturdy ball aimed to thwack him in the head.

The place was crawling with a whole group of thugs, milling about, unprofessional, but in a group potentially deadlier than the two of them could handle. Armed with all sorts of improvised weapons. In the clearing in the middle of the manor property stood the head of bunny, currently beating bloody one of the younger members of the gang. Barbed wire sliced flesh around boxing gloves as he struck with painful accuracy.

"You disappointment me Mr. Yu, had such good faith in you," he spoke, as he landed a straight punch, knocking the bunny named Yu down to the ground. He was bloody and bruised, coughing badly as other members of the gang grabbed him and pulled him away. Meanwhile, other members carefully grabbed the gloves, letting the head bunny grab a pair of sunglasses to don, even this late in the afternoon. It was likely he was Yakuza affiliated, a finger missing.

"Take him away, we have no need for cowards, especially ones working for the fuzz, you hear me!"

Sumo wrestlers were always these kind of people who are trained to be one of the most toughest fighters you could ever imagine. Trained at a young age with harsh training sessions and honed to be as solid as a boulder, many of them emitted a certain concrete energy that showcased that they were superior and among the top players regardless if it was an official match or a street fight. And this certain sumo gangster has leveled up his game with all the gritty battles that were added to his EXP points. "Hmmm?" The panda man sensed something was off as Tori descended on him as if the air itself was stirred. And he was correct as the giant red ball came crashing into the top of his skull with a loud thud and his head stared at the ground instead.

".......Ouch?" The first words he said as he rubbed his sore head while looking at Yori with a weird question mark looming around his head "Was that really necessary?" Apparently this one isn't just thick at body but also fortified in his skull.

The guards would drag the poor snitch who was actually a secret police officer that failed his mission to infiltrate the gang's inner circles. Now, bloodied and bruised and almost on the brink of going to sleep from the constant pain he was dragged outside the back of the estate where both the bunny grunts swung him like a trash bag and into a giant dumpster to be disposed off later.

By the time they were returning back Hairou was watching from the shadow of a nearby tree the violence treatment to the body and needed some answers right away, dashing from his hidden location before grabbing both buns from the neck and placing them chocking for freedom into the wall's building "Where's the Takibi family? Where's Yori?! Who are you people!?" Demanded the wolf with claws perching their skin and on the verge of killing them.
