Seeking Revenge (For Tanosh)

IN THE GYM

Beth wouldn't ever forget what had happened. Her loss in the showers a while back. She'd holed herself up in her room. Perhaps some speculated she had a breakdown after her utter humiliating loss. But that couldn't have been further from the truth. Not wanting to be bothered by anyone, she had been working out every day. Yet she knew all that strength wouldn't do her any good without experience. Headstrong as always, she was looking for only one person to fight. One person to get experience out of.

Magnus.

She'd silently been stalking all over the place all day, looking for him. She was getting restless. At this rate, she was liable to charge right into the boy's dorm. But rather than do that, she' decided to go for a swim first, making her way to the pool wearing a white two piece swimsuit. She was sure if she didn't get a chance to inflict pain on Magnus soon, she was liable to lash out at anyone. Though that wasn't exactly a change from her usual behaviour.

Gil Magnus did not forget his match in the showers, but unlike the other participant, he did not dwell upon it. He reviewed the battle with Kent, who had already downloaded the match from his computer and had begun to pick apart Magnus's strategies. The man knew there were bigger, stronger, and better women in the AFW that he'd have to come up against, so reviewing his first fight was a wise move. And it was slightly less nonsensical than reviewing Rudi's first fight over and over again. Much mocking was had at Rudolf's expense for losing against such a small girl. After a particularly harsh row with Rudi about the German's fighting style, Magnus felt it wiser to spend some time away from the dorms, and maybe in the gym.

Having swapped into his swim trunks, he made his way to the pool. He wore mostly white trunks with a black tribal flame design that hung to just below his knees. He was a decent swimmer, capable of each of the basic strokes, though by no means capable of any truly competitive meets. A glance around the otherwise empty Olympic sized pool was all he gave his surroundings before diving straight into the deep end. He'd work his way back and forth along the pool, alternating strokes as he kicked off of each wall. The swim was a good burn, a great way to work his whole body without specifically picking out any one group.

She almost lost it right then and there. She couldn't believe who was going for a swim. Magnus, of all people, didn't even notice her as she stood at poolside, watching him swim. The best idea would be to wait until he wore himself out, and then jump him. But her rage wouldn't be contained that long. She'd move to the edge of the pooll, hands curling into fists as she watched him. He looked quite oblivious, and that was fine. She didn't care about challenging him to a fair fight. She wanted to hurt him, plain and simple. So when he reached the edge of the pool, she'd wait for him to come up for air, and would lash her right foot out to catch the side of his head.

Should that connect, Beth would be quick to jump into the pool, holding onto the side as she reached out with her legs to wrap around his head. The aim was to not only apply a head scissor, but to hold him underwater as well. If he was out cold, he'd be easier to use as a punching bag. Even though this wasn't her usual style of fighting, she figured her advantage would allow her to keep him down long enough.

He let out a sudden yelp when he was kicked in the back of the head, and retreated under water, which was the general direction away from his attacker. Before he had a chance to find the wall again, he felt legs wrap around his head lock onto him. Eyes widened as insight immediately took over. This was the deep end, nine feet or so, thus he had no chance of simply standing up out of the water. His hands reached up to grasp her thighs and work at pulling them apart, but to no avail. Can't panic, heart rate would increase, cause oxygen to last even shorter. No. Well too late for that. His heart was pounding from the kick, and adrenaline had begun to effect his decision, had to keep a clear head.

Either he had to get out, or his opponent had to come in. Yes. As she grasped the edge of the wall his arms found her shoulders, and pulled down. His body was pushed up against the wall, and knees and feet scraped against the cement sides trying to find friction enough to push him up, but only finding his skin would rather be rubbed off at the knees and toes. Flesh wounds, nothing more. His hands worked his opponent's shoulders, trying to force her downward, but eventually began working their way along her arms. He needed to do something desperate. His body was reminding him suddenly he didn't have a full gulp of air when he had surfaced and yelped earlier.

Beth's strength in her arms was usually much more than anyone would anticipate. When she had a good hold of the sde of the pool, he'd have little chance of dragging her down. Mostly because he couldn't get hold of anything to pull with.

Pushing down against the side of the pool, Beth would purposefully pull him upwards, just so she could bring him up, wanting to make him think she was giving him a chance to breath. But the moment he tried to breath, she'd dunk him back under, wanting to make him swallow the water and hopefully push him further towards passing out from the lack of air.

The water around his face never cleared enough to let him think he could breath, unfortunately, and the stale breath that hung in his lungs began to burn as his body tried to scavenge the last of his oxygen. Her taunting of him had one positive aspect, his hands got a chance to find the side also. Gripping tightly to the edge of the pool, he pulled himself upwards, trying to do a chinup with the addition of a small woman on his shoulders, in the water, while she was trying to keep him under was no easy task. His feet kicked under him, trying to give him just enough lift to hold her fully out of the water, and his head enough room to get some air.

The froth caused by their struggle was nearly impossible to breath, and the burn of chlorine in his lunges replaced the burn of de-oxygenation. But at least he was getting some fresh air now, even if it was mixed with pool water. He grunted, coughed, and cursed against the water, trying to fight back against the surprising strength around his next.

Beth didn't want to let go of the side of the pool to try to bash at his hands and make him let go. If she let go, he was more likely to drag her under water. But at this rate, with him gulping in air, he wasn't likely going to pass out. So after a moment of thinking it over, she decided to chance it. Using her left hand to slam at his hands, hoping to force him to let go so she could dunk him back down.

Beth didn't say anything so far, not verbally taunting him. She wanted to save that for later, after she had won.

His head leaned forward into the water, than slammed back between her belly button and her crotch as she lifted her hands from the side of the pool. Strength pulled him upwards, allowing him to get a full gasp of air for a moment before she smashed his digits and set his hands free. Without his hold on the side of the wall, he sunk back under water again by her weight (and his lack of decent buoyancy). But all was not lost, and with renewed breath, he could formulate a new plan.

Beth would hiss a bit as he sent his head slamming against her. But she simply took the brunt of the blow, and held on with all her strength. Once she had him submerged back under water again, she'd squeeze her legs tighter around his neck.

She knew she could hold him like this for quite a long time. Longer than he could hold his breath. But she had no idea how long he could hold his breath for. If she'd paid more attention to when he'd been swimming, she might have been able to geuss. As it was, she hoped she didn't accidentally drown him instead of just knocking him out. She wanted to hurt him, not kill him.

A plan was had as he continued his struggle against her. Once again, he slammed the back of his head between her belly button and her crotch, but this time, it was for good reason. She had to accept he was still struggling with her, and hadn't let go of her legs to push against the wall. His arms pushed against the wall while he brought his legs up. The balls of his feet caught the wall, and his bid for freedom had reached a climax.

His head leaned forward as though he was about to striker with the back of it again, but this time, he pushed hard off the wall. She could hold him down, and he couldn't fight that because her grip on the side of the wall, but if she'd have no grip going away from the wall. Once in the open waters of the deep end, he could deal with her more directly.
