Sophia Kin vs Claire Eziyar

Claire gritted her teeth as her back was pushed even higher, bending her body in a painful and unnatural way. However, even though she was damaged - or maybe because of it - the girl's struggles actually increased, desperately trying to get away. After a moment, she was let out of the hold out of a sudden, rolling back to the mat, getting onto her back and gazing at the top of the cage. If Sophia didn't act quick, though, Claire would recollect herself and roll away from her, then try to get to her feet.

Sophia couldn't keep the hold, but she was happy with what she done. She seemingly wore down her opponent. She started to stand up, letting Claire roll away and get onto her feet while Sophia herself resumed her defensive boxing stance. "I'm giving you another chance. I hope you don't put that to waste, or you might regret it." She said as she carefully stared at every detail of Claire's actions, analyzing them thoroughly to plan out her next move.

Claire got back to her feet, looking at her opponent. She didn't like getting free chances like that, but in truth she was needing it. "...Thanks." With only this, she resumed her own stance. Sophia's attacks had put her on the defensive, not wanting to be brought down like that again. Punching had done no good to her. Then...

Claire slowly got closer to Sophia. Then, when she thought she was close enough, she suddenly sprung forward, opening both arms. She'd try to quickly trap Sophia in a bearhug, crushing her waist and trapping her arms as well, if possible.

Sophia narrowed her eyes, trying to see what Claire is going to attack with. When she saw the two arms springing up, she knew what was going to happen next, which made her eyes widen in surprise. She quickly tried to move back while ducking the arms as lowest as possible with the best effort she can muster, and if she was able to dodge the bearhug, she would raise her right arm for an uppercut onto the girl's chin.

Just as Claire was going to complete the hug, Sophia ducked, narrowly avoiding the attack. Claire wouldn't be caught off-guard, though: she already knew that Sophia's defense was formidable, so she was prepared for something like this. When the uppercut came, Claire brought her head back to avoid it; if she did, she would try to latch both hands onto Sophia's extended arm, then try to hiptoss her to the mat.

Sophia's eyes widened once more, showing a shock expression on her face as she was thrown over Claire before being hiptossed onto the mat. "Gah!" She grunted as she landed on her back. Quickly, she tried to get on all fours, before trying to stand up, all before Claire can continue with her offense.

As Sophia got on all fours, Claire would go to her next attack, trying to keep her opponent down. She would execute an elbow drop at Sophia's exposed back, trying to bring her down to the mat again, this time on her front. If she succeeded, she would remain on top of her and move to put her in a crippler crossface.

Sophia grunted as she was sent back down to the mat, dazed for the next move. She couldn't resist being put in the crippler crossface, her left arm trapped in between Claire's thighs as her head was viciously pulled back. She gritted her teeth, not wanting to show a sign of weakness. She was particularly bad against submissions, since she has a low stamina. It was her weakness, and hence, why she desperately tried to get free. With her free arm, she would try to pry the lock on her head apart.

Claire frowned when Sophia stated to pry on her hold. Because she had both hands occupied in locking her head, she could prevent her from doing that, and she knew she would only have a limited time with that hold. Still, she pulled Sophia's head back a little more, trying to get her upper body out of the mat so it would be more difficult to pry. She wished to use the crossface to extract as much energy from Sophia before they continued.

"Ghk!" Sophia grunted as her head was pulled back even a little more, to the point that her bust was nearly off the mat. Seeing that even prying the lock on her head won't work, she decided to desperately throw wild punches to Claire's head, hoping that the attacks would reach and make her opponent release the hold, or else her back will also be in pain from the hold.
