SRW: The Playground full of Monsters

This was quite a weird action from the neko. Why would someone like her accept the job, when the only thing she’s looking for is to play and find something to distract her outside of work? Was perhaps an exception that Felis was about to make to appeal for her new friend, who is also her boss? Felis simply smiled back at Eros, as if she was satisfied with her boss’ orders.

However, that wasn’t the case. Felis knew what was going on, and knowing that Eros couldn’t play with her, she decided to play with her new friend. After all, Eros gave them full freedom to do whatever they wanted as long they did their job, that was the plan. Make that job something exciting, or fail trying! And with Onna, someone with a similar way of thinking as the mischievous neko, was perfect to accompany her on this. Felis may be childish, but she wasn’t quite as foolish as she seemed, especially when it came down to mischief.

Upon hearing Eros reminding of their job and giving additional information, Felis nodded back to say she understood it. “Hai-hai, Errrros!”

Seeing the bakaneko disappearing in a puff of purple smoke, made the small child-like spirit inside the neko to awaken, as she started clapping amazed by that, like an actual kid seeing a magic trick. Didn’t last long, as hearing the lady in red talk quickly brought her back to her senses. “Oh right.”

Felis quickly looked around thinking what to do. In just a few seconds a big devilish smile appeared on her face. In that same instance, she made sure everything was stopped, the item, Onna, time itself, as she dashed around grabbing items all around and stacking the cart with them. In those 5 seconds the cart suddenly was filled with cleaning items and whatever else Felis could find. Pushing the cart forward towards the door, pushing past the door as she was ready to start.

Looking back, the neko saw Onna follow slowly behind, she felt a bit bad and decided to calm down and wait for her. However she had a better idea… Waiting a few seconds, she unleashed another Time-Stop. Within that “time”, the energetic creature attempted to pick up Onna with all her might and try to put her on the cart, before opening a warp gate. Eventually the time would start to move, but Felis wouldn’t be seen anywhere, only appearing a few minutes later through another warp gate, with a Pirate captain hat placing it on Onna’s head as she appeared with a bandana on her head and an eye patch.

Felis then pushed the cart full force forwards with Onna on it, before quickly running after it and jumping on while they both travelled down the hallway, pulling out a mop and using it almost like she was using it steering a ship, as she cleaned everything on a straight line that the cart passed by, still missing a lot of places.

“Fe…lisss”

The Lady in red could hardly keep up with the excited neko even in an enclosed space like a room. Her shuffling, shambling gate could barely be described as walking on the best of days but when paired up with Felis it may as well be an injured crawl! The neko seemed to notice her partner's struggles and paused for a moment to explore the room to see if she could find any gear that might be able to propel the stumbling wraith. By the time the Lady in red made it to the neko's side a cleaning cart seemed to materialize beside her from thin air! The wraith stared at the cart for a moment, her delayed reaction coming as a small step back before Felis suddenly zoomed out the door! If Onna’s head could spin, it probably would have, but instead her eyes followed the smoke trail left behind by her partner. Once again, she began to chase after Felis and quickly fell far behind to the point even Felis noticed. Onna had only just gotten out of the door when she blinked and suddenly felis was picking her up off the floor! Onna wasn’t exactly heavy, but she weighed more than a stack of heavy sheets, and yet Felis scooped her up and plopped her in the cleaning cart like it was nothing. Onna found herself sitting in a pile of paper towels and boxes of gloves, serving as a surprisingly comfortable cushion.

Then, like a racecar blasting off, Felis suddenly surged forward! Onna felt the warmth of the pirate hat on her head just before blasting off, and instinctively put a hand on her hat to keep it on! The Ghost woman yelled in a perfectly monotone manner, sounding more like a dying engine than a scared ghost! Water was being flung everywhere they went, splashing the staff members, wardens, and Golems that were unfortunate enough to be in the cleaning carts path! In some cases, there was more water on the walls then the floor!

“F…Felisss?” Onna muttered in her familiar Monotone voice, “Fasst….Fasssssst!”

Felis suddenly rounded a corner, soapy water from the bucket Onna was clinging to was suddenly thrown overboard and splashed against two guards! Onna heard them sputter and spit the soap water out of their helmet vents just before Felis darted down the hall!

“Hey you two! Hold it!”

The Lady in red was usually a few minutes behind every situation, but for once, she was finally on top of the situation as she peeked over and saw the two armored guards begin to chase them down.

“Felisss….Fasssttt…eeerrr.”

The Neko was finally free to fully explore the building without any contraption, restraint or someone to look after her, well almost. Despite Onna being there to look over her, it seems she was going more along with Felis than stopping her or calling her off, or perhaps it was Felis’ job to look over the lady in red, but even herself couldn’t remember exactly. All she knew was that she had to clean a few areas of the SRW, but was never told how…

So it was completely in the Cat-like woman’s interest to make it as fun as possible, using anything in her surroundings to make it better, like how she was using the cart of cleaning supplies like an imaginary makeshift ship to sail across the seas of the SRW with her captain. She placed Onna as the “Captain” to possibly make her feel well, with her shyness which seemed to be somewhat working. They were traveling quite fast down the hallway sending water flying everywhere, leaving on a mess behind and not cleaning the place at all, but Felis didn’t really cared about it as the concept of cleaning was pretty much non existent on her mind, only thing she had knew was how to make a mess most of the times.

“Are you enjoying this?”

Felis screamed as they traveled at unsafe speeds, however since momentum isn’t infinite Felis has to propel off the ground using a mop to keep at least something, and despite the high velocity that didn’t stop them from doing a clean curve. They however managed to pretty much throw a bucket of water at the guard, which seemed understandably pissed, while leaving Felis burst laughing at them while on escape velocity from the pissed guards.

However a few whimpers near her, made her turn to face Onna, to ask her to go faster, causing to a devious smirk to appear. “Ay-Ay, Captain.” Hoping off the cart she run against the cart, pushing with all strength and putting all of her speed before climbing back on the cart and opening a warp gate right in front of them, and the exit being close to the end of the hall. “See ya!” They’d disappear from their view after taking a turn and rushing down the dungeon.

In a matter of seconds Felis had managed to tick off a good portion of the hallway guards, soak the floors and rugs in soapy mop water, and become a general tornado of destruction the way she was knocking furniture and pictures around without a second thought! Onna was clinging onto the cart for dear life, and in comparison to her slower way of doing things, she may as well be going at the speed of light! The two were heading towards the dungeon at breakneck speed! So fast Onna didn’t even have enough time to yell or warn Felis where they were going!

The wash cart smacked into the dungeon door, the entrance to the deep cavern bursting into a shower of splintered wood as Felis launched off the first step of the descending stairway. Onna hovered in the air for just a moment, clinging to the cart as Felis seemed to wave in the air like a flag. Onne almost had time to register a complaint before the cart dropped like a rock in the air, the two tumbling down the dungeons stairs in a comedic yet painful tumble.

Racing through the dungeon, being followed by the guards while creating such a path of destruction was quite fun, filling Felis with mischievous joy, the same one you feel when you pull a successful prank or by simply causing chaos and mischief. The best part is that they were technically cleaning the dungeon as suggested, but the best part, they were fun, at least Felis was.

Outspeeding the guards and wetting everything and everyone, but she didn’t care as she was too distracted living her fantasy. “We’re the Soap Pirates!” Her laughs echoed through the halls. “I’M THE GOD OF DESTRUCTI- OH SHIT!”


The neko found herself in free fall down the stairs, being interrupted mid-sentence, almost cartoonishly looking, before hitting the steps and starting to crumble down the stairs, rolling down, mangling as she moved, painfully twisting, crushing and moving bones out of place, causing a physical torture to the Neko.

Reaching the floor, she laid there motionless, head turned in a 180, one arm lost, the rest being broken and twisted. Suddenly her head rotated back into place almost like a horror movie or something, before the rest of her body immediately started to heal and return to normal. Getting up, she looked around for Onna and where they were. “Awkward style, I like it. But where is this?”

With Felis’s lack of attention and Onna’s general lack of assertive control, the two just earned a free nonstop ride falling all the way down the stairs! Onna lost count of just how many floors they clattered and collapsed through, but by the time they duo hit solid ground Felis was in literal shambles and Onna’s body was twisted and broken in unsettling ways. The cleaning equipment was lost. Stuck on the steps up above as Felis and Onna continued to fall. The two really should have been dead…but with Onna being a yokai, she already was deceased in a sense. Soon, the red dressed woman was  moving again. Her bones were cracking back into place and rotating to their proper positions. Her mask had been knocked loose, but it was only a few minutes before her hands were perfectly fine and she could hide her stitched up mouth. When Felis proved herself to be fine, Onna took a look around the grungy and dark area they found themselves in.

“I….It….looks like…the lowest dungeon.”

Looking behind them, Onna realized that the pair had actually smashed right through the locked door to the dungeon. Normally it was guarded heavily…why were they gone?

“F…elis…we shouldn’t be…down here. It's…dangerous.”

Onna tried to stand up, her legs a bit shaky but ultimately strong enough to keep her upright. Slowly she lurched around, as though she was about to go up the stairs before remembering that Felis was not behind her.

“Fe…lis?”

It was all in quick succession, getting distracted, falling down the stairs, and crushing against the hard floor of the dungeon, like a mangled toy, however due the quickness of it all it was difficult to remember with clearness all of it, despite happening not even one second ago. Felis simply saw the giant open gate in front of her, and the feeling of pain all round and not being able to move, but that was quickly fixed, before getting up and looking for Onna.

Seeing that she was fine, she quickly got back to look around, dismissing the worryness for her friend once seeing she was fine, her child-like nature not giving her enough worry and responsibility for it, and her sort of indestructibility not making regard how fragile everyone else could be. Upon hearing where they were she simply looked at Onna with a smile on her face.

“Sweet. I’ll go check inside and wait for you.”

Before suddenly disappearing in a split second, as she froze time and got out of there instantly. Once deep into the Dungeons, the neko looked around curious at the several cells, these seemingly different from the ones from before, the ones upstairs. The dungeon seemed to be tighter and more secure than others, and even had an heavy gate on front of it which would draw some really red flags, however to the Felis’ oblivious mind, this was more like a super secret VIP club, a place where a special few get to hangout.

The warnings were futile and with the misinterpretation of the place she was in, drove her to commit what most would consider insane and life threat, but it was the exact opposite for the Vice-Warden. Opening a warp gate inside the cells, Felis would start to mess around inside them and poke whatever would be inside it like an annoying yet curious kid trying to get a reaction from whatever living being could be inside.

With Felis’s ability, all time seemed to stop dead in its tracks. Not a fly, not a speck of dust, not a thing moved when Felis moved in this state. The only person who seemed immune to such an anomaly was Felis herself, and to an extent, her newfound boss Eros Zuul. But since the Bakeneko was not around to stop Felis, the young vice warden had the run of the place all to herself. So long as Felis was in this strange limbo of time, there was very little that could be an obstacle for her curiosity. Unfortunately, Felis was wondering what was behind those heavily padded and secured steel doors that lined the hallway on each side. But what were doors to a creature that could simply open a gate and walk on the other side?

Which is exactly what Felis did. She stepped into multiple rooms, seeing all sorts of creatures and beasts frozen by Felis’s power. Some were simple prisoners going about their daily incarcerated lives. Other rooms had monsters made from nightmares! Legends of Gaia that were infamous across the lands during their days of freedom and torment.

There was the Sand Devil, a great beasts that was chained down by enchanted metal all across it’s body. It resembled a worm, but with rough skin that had what looked to be pointed spike protruding from underneath the beast. Dark black marbles for eyes were scattered all across the creature's head, where a large, misshapen maw lined with a valley of razor sharp teeth was opened and ready to consume whatever entered its domain. Thankfully, the creature was frozen, and so Felis was free to look around to their heart's content.

The next creature was the Hotlands Minotaur. A creature whose own head seemed to be made from molten rock! It was bound and gagged, to ensure its fiery hot breath could not melt its restraints. It was said that this creature's rage could be seen for miles, as even when put under a sleeping spell, the long, thick horns on its head shimmered with molten hot magma! Dripping on the reinforced floor like a slow leaking faucet. Its powerful, almost human body was practically encased in a steel cube. The prison charmed to resist the Magma beast’s heat!

But one room at the end was unlike the others. This room had every kind of charm, lock, chain, and magical seal that could be used slapped onto it. Only the Head Warden themselves had access to it…but then again, Felis was still new. Perhaps her warp gate would work? It was tough to tell, but it would be up to young Felis to try. Though, there were signs all over warning about this room. How no one was allowed in, and it was strictly forbidden to be in this area. These seemed like serious warnings that Felis would hopefully listen to!
