Zetton Vs The Nomu! A shifting force against an unbreakable object!

The day of the match had finally arrived! Not that it was a long wait, but within the twenty four hours, Eros had managed to drum up quite the audience and press for the fight! It wasn’t every day the scourge of Gaia was unleashed into battle, and the strangeness of Zetton had an allure that many of the citizens found intriguing enough to come and witness the fight first hand! It was always nice to have a hard day's work rewarded by such an impressive turnout, and the Bakeneko had already taken a smug victory lap in her head as she witnessed the impressive fruits of her labor. Few could provide such a turnout like she could, even with the Nomu as leverage! This was why she was the Warden of the SRW! The Overseer himself would be proud were he to witness such an achievement! Just the thought was enough to send a thrill through her body as she brought the microphone to her lips up at the announcing tower!

“GOOOOOOOD MORNING CITIZENS OF TSUBAR!”

Of course, the ever popular announcer got a round of cheers. The SRW was always growing in popularity with every match! Each one growing in intensity and power the likes of which had never been seen by most of the sheltered city citizens. With careful marketing, the SRW was spreading about even the lowest slums of the realm of Gaia. The Overseer’s project was a raging success, by any means of the word.

“Today we have a stunning matchup of both brawn and power! That is sure to send shockwaves through your seats or vibrations through your screens for our home viewers! And why is that? Because tonight, we have a challenger who thinks themselves worthy of trying to best the scourge of our land!”

Once again, the crowd cheered. They were unaware of the thin smirk on Eros’s face as she imagined just how this fight would play out...most likely, just like all the others who dared to challenge The Nomu! That Zetton would learn what true pain was~

“But for now, let's introduce the beast!”

Eros would activate the switch to an enlarged gate leading to the colosseum type arena. The wide, stone doors swung open slowly. The crowd ate the whole thing up as the beast stepped forward. It’s body was enveloped with chains, magical seals, and just about every kind of restraining device known to Gaia. It couldn’t even walk properly, dragging along it’s encased left leg as it’s empty eyes searched the arena for...well, no one could be sure. The Bakeneko was the one wielding the beasts remote, her shining yellow eyes watching the screen with anticipation as the viewership count grew three times what it was before the Nomu entered!

“As you can see, the beast is perfectly harmless until given the order to attack! A weapon with no one to wield it! But, our challenger has the mettle to stand up to such a weapon! Please welcome the Dynamite Dinosaur, Zetton~”

After a complete 24 hour, Zetton can be seen stretch, she had seen what the beast can do, The Nomu will be a difficult one to dealt with, wearing a leotard with thigh high boots and long arm sleeve + gloves as she walk into the arena when she heard herself being introduced, facing the beast, she would remain emotionless as she face him



She would simply nod her head toward the beast, to give it a slight friendly gestures of course, it probably wouldn't get any response as she remain emotionless. Looking around, the audience is all hyped up for the match, so she might as well give them all a show as she then turn around and take her focus back to the beast

"...We will do our best" The Dino said to the beast, both was a short of weapons, so in a way, she is fairly similar to Nomu, but it's not time to be sympathy yet, she have a match to fight, and a hard one at that, she doesn't have times to get distracted as she face the beast without any hesitation as she meet it eyes to eyes

Zetton might have nodded at the Nomu, but the vacancy in its eyes was clear as day. The only movement it committed to was the slight rise of its chest as it took in air, and the occasional twitch of it’s wide eyes, as though it were looking for something that didn’t exist. It was as if it did not even see Zetton standing right in front of it, making it clear just how docile it was when not been given an order from its master. There was no banter exchanged between them but the fight was still expected to be a lively one. The crowd buzzed and bustled as Eros continued to view Zetton from her monitors. While her grudge was admittedly petty, that didn’t mean Eros wouldn’t enjoy herself.

“Hear that, Folks?! A good fight! Lets see what Zetton can bring to the table as we UNLEASH THE NOMU~!!!”

The Nomu:

With an audible flick of a switch, the magical restraints holding the Nomu would fade out and disappear, while the practical, physical restraints deactivated and fell away. It was then that the true size of the creature was known, as it stretched its massive arms and shoulders. Once again, it peered over at Zetton, only this time something seemed to click in those vacant eyes. A strange, guttural squawk slipped through its clenched teeth as the battle was initiated. With just a single step, the living weapon would launch itself at Zetton, looking to grab ahold of the creature in a sick, mindless fashion!

While Zett did nod at Nomu, it offer no response, and then again, not that she expected any, she would look at the beast before she would saw the beast being unleashed, causing it to stand back up as she slowly take few steps back, little surprised but not much as Zett remain keeping an eyes on the beast, as It launch itself toward Zett, the dino girl would simply using her small size as a advantage as she hop backward and dodge the beast

Knowing fighting the beast head on is suicide, she would hop behind the head and give it's head a hard kick before she would then land and then give the back of it's leg a kick, when the beast turn around, she would also circle and remain on the back, remain giving cheap hits on the back instead of fighting head to head

The Nomu’s fist came down with all the grace and power of a wrecking ball! With that one blow, the beast might have easily dispatched Zetton had she not quickly dodged out of the way of it’s unyielding power! The arena floor suddenly exploded into a plume of rubble and dust! Bits of dirt and gravel smacked the defensive barrier that protected the audience watching the fight as a powerful force of air pounded at the stone surrounding the arena. Even powered down by the inhibitor chip installed deep in its neck, the Nomu was a far stronger creature then most of what Gaia had seen in it’s years.

When the dust settled, Zetton was nowhere to be seen. The moronic creature made a curious squealing noise as it looked into the crater it had just created as though it were looking for Zetton’s remains. The living weapon would find no such thing. Instead, Zetton would appear behind the beast with blinding speed! A powerful kick would slam into the back of the creature's head, but other than making the beast lean forward, the kick seemed to have little effect. To Zetton, it might have felt like kicking a solid wall, the creature’s thick skin and sheer muscle mass making it a naturally tough opponent to deal with thanks to the small form the dinosaur had chosen.

The beast would throw a fist behind it, looking to try and swat Zetton away! But once more the dinosaur would evade the Nomu. She was being careful to stay behind it, the creature just a bit too dim to understand where Zetton was hiding as another confused squawk slipped through it’s sharp teeth. When she continued to attack it’s back, the beast finally let out an annoyed squeal as it’s mindless eyes searched about for the bug. As Zetton continued to pepper it with attack, the Nomu would quickly and suddenly spin! With astounding force and speed, the symbol of terror would quickly twist about, looking to smack anything and everything around it in a brutal fashion!

Zett is being careful as she stay behind the terror, strike it from behind, but of course, she can't use the same strategy for long as the beast turn around and attempt to slap her away, cause her skip backward and barely dodge the strike as she take a deep breath in panic, facing the beast with a alerted look, before she would charge toward the beast, at the last second, she would hop back and over the beast as she turn around and kick the beast from behind, using it like a cow and Zett herself as the red sheet

Taking a deep breath and attempt to remain calm, she would wait for it hit the wall or something and turn around, facing Nomu as she simply give a come at me handsign, letting it charge at her once again, treating it like a beast as she attempt to tired it out as she took some deep breaths

Eros kept laughing every time the Zetton woman dodged or ran away from the Nomu’s unrelenting might! In the eyes of the Bakeneko, Zetton hardly stood a chance! Oh, she did her duty as the warden and enabled the Nomu’s dampener to the point where he wouldn’t kill the space dinosaur in a single blow. But Zetton’s stupidity had rubbed Eros the wrong way, and so she decided not to give Zetton any more favors then what was afforded to her. And as a result, the once so proud and blunt Zetton was running around like a rabbit in a construction zone! The Nomu was nigh unstoppable at this rate! And all Zetton could do was hope and pray!

‘’U-um...Ms. Zuul?”

A familiar voice came from behind her, and upon looking, the Head Warden would find that same unnamed grunt she had sent to go and find Zetton. Truthfully, just him being here was spoiling her fun, and she didn’t bother with her friendly tone that she used on the general public.

“What is it?”

“D...don’t you think this fight is too much for the Zetton? You’ve hardly dampened the Nomu’s strength at all, and the magical seals-”

Eros would cut him off immediately with a look. There was something about Eros, something she usually hid from others. She kept it contained for the most part, but right now she was looking at the grunt with the eyes of a predatory animal.

“Now now, you aren’t suggesting that I’m cheating are you?”

Eros hopped out of her chair and approached the grunt. She didn’t lay a hand on him, but a dangerous aura seemed to seep into the room like a noxious gas.

“Because I’ll have you know that it would infringe upon the rules of the SRW to set up a fixed fight, and since the rules are instilled by the Overseer himself, It would be against his will to break them. And that is something I would never allow.”

Those eyes glared at the grunt for a moment more before Eros returned her attention to the fight.

“She just hasn’t found the weapon’s weakness yet…”

The Nomu continued to rush Zetton! It’s spinning attack was narrowly avoided as the Dinosaur proved to be a rather agile being, jumping over and kicking the beast’s broad back in one swift motion! It’s head was sent through the wall, and for a moment it appeared to be stuck! It tugged and pulled, eventually pulling it’s head out of the solid stone. Of course, it appeared that the wall did little in the way of harming the Nomu. The stupid creature simply looked around as it had lost it’s target, only attacking as it spotted Zetton once more with a high pitched shriek and another lunge!

"....Wait a second" The space dinosaur simply look at the beast...The brain is literally exposed...WHY IS IT EXPOSED...That felt like a trap...or a weakness....but then again, it's a 50/50 chance that Zett would take as she charge, this time hop up and give a drop kick toward the brain area, if the kick meet, she would use it as a bounce pad as she send and push herself away from the beast, knowing at Close Range and face to face, she would stood no chance at all against it

Zett let out few pants as she took a deep breath, watching the beast as she ready herself for another attack, if she can, she would dodge and give few more kick from the side and the back, even few to the head again as she attempt to harm the beast with light hits as she attempt to tired the beast out while she glare at it

The Nomu was like a mindless beast as it lunged towards Zetton, every swipe towards the bug dinosaur like being narrowly missed by a speeding car! Thankfully, Zetton had the reflexes to narrowly avoid such impactful strikes and she even continued to think her options through. As wild and powerful as the Nomu was, the beast was predictable. What might have been a natural disaster in the city was easily contained in the barren arena protected by magical seals, making the Nomu much more containable than ever before.

Zetton continued to avoid the beast, desperate to find some way to inflict any sort of damage or pain on this seemingly endless monster! With another lunge, Zetton seemed to come to a realization about the beast, Jumping over its massive form before turning in midair and sending a kick right into the center of it’s exposed brain. The shocking blow landed, and Zetton would notice that instead of a standard brain, this one was so much thicker! Like it was an extension of the creature's muscle! However it did produce a desired effect in a surprised squeal from the lumbering giant as it stumbled a few steps and rubbed its head. Those empty eyes searched around as though it didn’t understand what had just happened.

Which gave Zetton the perfect chance to press the attack! With a flurry of strikes and kicks, Zetton would see that the Nomu was now defending it’s head! Nothing else seemed to affect the creature, its eyes, groin, or any other sensitive spots didn’t elicit nearly the reaction the brain did. It seemed the creature did have a weakness after all!

As Zett give a drop kick to his brain, she is worried that it would have no effect against the mindless beast, if that is so, she really have no idea where to attack, but luckily, the beast would let out a surprised squeal as it would stumble few steps, while it didn't do much, it did confirm it's weakness...as simple as it is, and obvious...it's the freaking brain...of course it is, Thus, she would waste no time as she charge at it again, decide to test her attack against it to see if it have any other weakness

This time she would give a combo of Strikes and kicks, aim at all other body parts, but it doesn't seem to have any reactions as she made a tsk noise, but good thing is that she know that the beast have only one weak spot, decide that the brain is the place to hit, she would hop few steps backward in case the beast is gonna lunge itself at her, if not, she would then charge and hop up, using it's brain as a bounce, cause her to step and kick it and launch herself to his back, attempt to create some space between it and her while damage the beast as she took a deep breath as she reassure herself that she got this
