SS21 - Death Bunny vs Rebecca Tomko

The sirens blared over the not-peaceful beach as the Big Guns of the Bullet Club set out to make it even less peaceful. The ebony amazon was on a mission tonight and this encounter with the Grim Hopper had been brewing for over a year, ever since Death Bunny was Alaina's emergency replacement in the main event of last year's Summer Splash the rabbit had held on to a grudge against the Bullet Club and more specifically: their leader. DB wouldn't be able to get her hands on Adrian tonight but with how Rebecca was whenever anyone threatened her girlfriend then the hat wearing biker bunny was going to have to deal with the Amazon Enforcer sooner rather than later. She'd encountered her at SS2020 and Cyber Sunday after Adrian's matches but now she was going one on one with the bigger woman stepping into the ring.

As for Rebecca herself, she was itching for the chance to start putting Death Bunny through stuff and a falls count anywhere match was the perfect thing to do it. Guard rails, steel stairs, announce tables, she could just bury the rabbit in whatever she liked to make sure that the Bullet Club had at least one less problem. She'd gotten the Bunny's attention by trashing her bike (literally. She picked it up and threw it in the trash) and now she was gonna have to deal with the consequences.

Imagine Death's abject shock and awe when, in her visceral vendetta against the obnoxious commander of Bullet Club, that she'd instead be getting visited by the scrawny puke's muscle-bound meathead of an enforcer. In all upright honesty, D.B. knew that Adrian wouldn't be honorable enough to willingly offer a rematch off the bat and confront the infernal damnation breathing down her neck. Death knew that she would have to scratch, claw, and crack some skulls to overcome some B.C. themed barriers first. The Ebon Amazonian stepping up to the plate and capturing Death's attention in a manner that nigh everyone backstage would have strictly advised against. Codes Of Honor were breached upon by this faction of feckless windbags, and just for tonight, dragging Adrian to her tomb was a distant second in terms of Death's priorities. Ending tonight with Rebecca looking just as decimated and dismantled as her chopper was Numero Uno with a bullet.

A singular chime signaled the complete and absolute eclipsing of the stadium into abject darkness, not one fleeting glint of luminescence could be seen as an all-encompassing shadow muted out all sense of hope and faith-driven optimism. A midnight tint of shaded blue was reflected all along the entrance-way and was therefore the only visible structure being lit before several lightning strikes started shooting downward at the fogged over flooring. Visions of lightning alongside a full moon were being broadcast from the monolithic screen until a lone silhouette would shamble forth from seemingly out of nowhere. The ominous figure becoming the centered point of breath-taken fixation for every living soul in the stadium simultaneously captivated yet instilled with a bone-chilling dread from The Phenom's ethereal aura. Who'd make her lethargic steps down the ramp and eventually into the ring, illuminating the arena once more with the tipping off of her hat and soulless eyes centered onto Tomko.

Rebecca had wanted Death Bunny's attention and she'd most assuredly had it judging by the fiery glare emanating from the normally stone cold eyes of the undead rabbit, but it was going to take more than a smoke and light show to make the Big Guns of the Bullet Club back away from the otherwise imposing figure. When even was the last time the six foot phenom went up against someone who wasn't just a little bigger than her but towered over the purple haired dead woman the way she towered over others?

"Come on, we don't have all day here. Show's got a schedule to keep." Rebecca mumbled out as she got in some last stretches against the far side ropes while Death Bunny took her sweet time getting in the ring before stepping up to the centre of the ring and holding up her hand for what was the universal call for a test of strength between the two.

Sans Jacket:

"...*sigh*...Crap. Never did like fighting the muscle heads." Death muttered while disrobing her jacket and hat, handing both articles of clothing off to the ringside official. The self-evident difference between this particular throwdown and her myriad of others was more than a tad obvious. In fact that specific difference this time around had about six inches of towering height on her and was built like a brick outhouse. So it was safe to surmise that the sheer strength advantage she'd relied on in previous matches could sufficiently be dubbed a non-factor, Death figured.

Upon getting the crinks and cracks out of her neck after some light stretches herself, D.B. exhaled through pursed lips and unflinchingly marched towards the middle of the ring. Where the jacked enforcer awaited with a cordial invitation to a test of strength. At first balking slightly from the gesture as she stood before Ms. Big Guns, eyes cast from Rebecca's own iris' towards the palm of the presented hand and back again. The Grim Hopper's steadily raising her own mit before attempting to interlock them together and siphon every ounce of strength Death had into it. An apprehensive audience holding their breath...

It wasn't surprising when a woman of Rebecca's size and stature called for a test of strength. She had the edge in leverage and muscle mass just from her physique and the crowd knew it. It would take all the power beyond the grave to challenge the Amazon like this... but Rebecca never gave Death Bunny the chance to try. Instead of raising up her other hand while their fingers interlocked, the Big Guns balled her free hand into a fist and swung up to try and catch the purple haired bunny girl unprepared for the surprise slug to the face. As if being big wasn't enough, she had to be cheap as well like... uh... some kind of bulk buy discount store or something.

Showcasing overwhelming gumption in actually accepting Rebecca's proposition in an arena where she obviously held the advantage, Death asserted that she had little to zero choice in the matter considering she abides by a darkened code of honor that all but insists she accept what is still ostensibly a fair and balanced way to open a match. The psychological impact of backing down perhaps doing more damage on a fighter than any actual physical impact ever could...although Rebecca certainly tried nevertheless with a walloping right slug that spun Death around on her feet with her back shown to Rebecca and a hand masking her mouth. The boo-birds flying at the enforcer's deceitful ploy, although soon afterward the still upright Bunny Reaper would turn back towards Rebecca with a spiteful glare and a swatting right hook as well.

Rebecca thought she had a pretty powerful right hand. Sure it helped having that much bulk behind it but with her father being a heavyweight boxer, she thought that she could throw a punch fairly well. Whatever her actual punching power it was enough to really give Death Bunny a headache but what it wasn't was enough to leave her laying on the canvas in one shot.

Nor was the rabbit's reply enough to send the Big Guns pitching backwards to look up at the lights, that didn't mean the heavy haymaker didn't ring the ebony amazon's bell in return. "Motherf-" the heavyweight grumbled as she tried to shake away some of the impact before going back into the fray with a raised knee to the exposed belly of the beast.

Well that was a freaking fantastic confirmation that every single solitary member of that putrid faction were just duplicitous asshats beneath all of that black and white bullshit. Not even the official muscle of the organization can enter into a clearly advantageous test of strength without being a cheap-shotting punk. Death's irritation probably being obvious enough by now. But just getting a thwacking taste of that mighty strength, while rattling her senses and perhaps loosening a tooth, compelled Death to pay her back with a knuckled receipt of her own. Repaid back in kind with a blasting knee strike rammed into her breadbasket to have her feet hop off the canvas for a split second. A puffed cheeked Reaper stepping back while huddled over herself to cradle her midsection with a sputtered cough or two...before bounding up to clasp onto Tomko's attire, and yank her into a rocketing knee strike of her own.

This seemed to be an emerging theme in the opening moments of the match: Whatever Rebecca did to Death Bunny the Grim Hopper repaid in kind, giving a receipt for every potato thrown up to and including driving her knee harshly into the impressive set of abs on the ebony Amazon "Oomph!" She wheezed out as she was pulled in to heavy strike, buckling the big woman over. Gritting her teeth in frustration, Rebecca pushed forward, shoving her way into Death Bunny to press her against the ropes, letting them buckle against their combined weight and strength before sending the Bunny running across the ring.
