To think it has only dawned on her that this is her second time where she challenges for the title.

The thought of it only came to Haruka as she sat in the locker room, lacing up her boots as she sat upon a chair. It was weird to think about it, considering where she was when AFW took her in. Many changes in Haruka’s life just came to her as she got ready for the match. From looking like a marshmallow to being so chiselled and robust. From needing a trainer to allowing the pinkette to wrestle to now stepping up as the contender for the Friction Hentai Championship. The pinkette wondered if this is how real wrestlers are at? They probably have done this a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand times. It was more than their careers; it is their whole life, integral to them as the air they breathe. Haruka doubted she’d fit into the level of an experienced veteran, but she was getting close.

And that terrified her.

Perhaps it was nerves that came into play. But the more Haruka thought about things that aren’t “how is Sakura going to react to this match that she kept a secret from”, the more she realised what this match represented for her. This was her shot. One on one, woman to woman. None of the sweet treats filling the ring, none of the triple threat; this was all on Haruka and the woman that she’s facing for the belt. This is quite the statement until one realises the first attempt ended in a no-contest because Ari crashed the whole party before taking the belt from her girlfriend. The second time Haruka sets out to win the belt. In some ways, the journey was unfinished. The show was just getting to the good part before it all derailed. This was Haruka’s chance to finish things once and for all. To win back the belt and put an end to Ari’s destruction. Both to the women in the back and to herself. But this brought another question that Haruka has not pondered on.

Was she even ready for the belt?

Haruka had seen the responsibility that it took when Sakura held the title belt. It wasn’t just the matches; it was the press conferences, interviews, talk shows, videos, radio, meetups, talking to management…by the time you do everything, it is hard to do anything else afterwards. Even if it had ended in such circumstances, Lucky did well to come off as a champion. Same with Natasha when she won it twice. Marisa was excellent too. The title needed someone that could take it to the next level, promote it better than the hentai division was far from the land of pornstars looking for a good fuck. The Friction Hentai Championship deserves better. It deserves prestige. And while Haruka had her doubts, she knew it deserved better than the woman holding it right now. It’s funny, Haruka didn’t have enemies like most people, but Ari was the first to make her blood boil on sight. She did well not to fall into that pit again, Haruka promising not to end up there where the darkness will swallow her whole. It had taken a great degree of self-control to not go further. To hold back and save it all. Today, this patience will be rewarded.

Haruka’s head tilted up towards the door, hearing someone knocking on it. It must be one of the stagehands. The pink behemoth stood up, breathing deeply as she rose from her chair. The time has finally come. Haruka had held her own against two people, and while she only has to face one person, Ari was a different beast. A ferocious beast. Haruka had to be ready for anything. Oh god, she was still nervous. What would Sakura say if she was there? In fact, never mind that, best not to go there. Okay Haruka, don’t think about the odds, don’t think about Sakura. Keep your head up and your eyes forward. “I’m ready!” Haruka made her way towards the door, grabbing the doorknob to open it wide…

A full year has passed since Ari had made her turbulent return and had turned the entire Hentai Division upside down as she was back at SummerSplash. How quant that she was defending her prize against one of the women she had barreled through to make a statement as she waited in the hallways leading towards the arena and coming from the locker rooms. She knew that Haruka was going to be heading this way, standing with her title draped over her shoulder as she stood.

She had something special planned for Haruka, for such disgusting words that her Challenger spoke to her the last time they were in the ring and she was ready to pull that pinkette down into the pits of agony with her.

Hearing footsteps behind her, she looked over her shoulder and saw it was indeed Haruka on her way to the ring, looking with a wild eye and a sneer on her face. But rather than acknowledge her foe any more, the Champion simply turned the corner off to a different hallway away from the arena as she soon slipped into the shadows and vanished, only her fading footsteps behind a sign of her presence.

“Hm?”

Haruka swore she saw something soon as she passed through the door of the locker room. She caught a glimpse of a figure passing through the hallway. Was it someone that she knew? The Pinkette couldn’t tell. She stood outside the corridor as she looked left and right. Nobody seemed to be around. No stagehands, no security, nobody. It was strange and unsettling, bringing fresh new worries to think about.

“Hello?”

No answer. Figures, the pinkette walked down the corridor. Instead of the direction to the right where the arena would be, Haruka followed to the left, where that mysterious person went. It might not have been wise to miss her cue, but someone would be around to point her in the right direction anyway. But this was eerily quiet; not a single soul could be heard, apart from the fading footsteps. If Haruka doesn’t want to lose that person, then she must hurry. Something was not right, and curiosity was leading Haruka in a direction she wasn’t supposed to go.

Where precisely the pinkette doesn’t know.

Leading Haruka through the hallway and away from the Arena, Ari would soon reach her destination, a darkened room with dimly lit lights to give a hindered vision except for the dirt pit in the center of the room. The Champion stood in the center of the dirt, her Championship hanging from her hand as she waited for her Challenger to arrive. The darkened nature of the room fit everything that Ari felt about her defense against this disgusting woman.

She wanted to drag her into the darkest reaches of pleasures and drown her in it, to be writhing around with her and realizing that pleasure is a cruel and uncaring mistress. To rend all that Haruka knew and leave nothing but the empty feeling that was inside Ari, that was what she wanted.

Her shoulders were slackened, swaying from side to side as she waited for Haruka to enter from the Darkness, ready to sacrifice a piece of herself for a chance to take her girlfriend's precious title away from her.
