Ava Agate: Celestial Striker!

Describing Ava's fighting prowess is more akin to describing a fighting video game; In her life she has only know discipline and technique, she's sick of that same number, so normally expect her to go for it with extreme brutality and frenetic attacks. Even if her flawless kicks and punches define her style, she is quite eager to learn the other aspects of wrestling as well; She wants to experiment everything; grapples, highflying moves, smothers, submission holds, her only limit is her own endurance.

At first, Ava looks like a polite and sweet girl, always with a smile on her face. She never stops smiling, which can be a bit freaky for a number of people. She's not much for showing her emotions, instead always appearing to be with that expression, even if her eyes can say at times that she isn't happy. In the talking matter, she's not the most talkative, unless one starts asking her questions or talk about martial arts or wrestling, in which case she'll be more talkative. She does have friends as well as people she dislikes, but her way to discern one from the other is quite bizarre, mostly because she never talks about anything of her hobbies unless she's asked.

In her place of birth, Ava Agate was left to her uncles after her irresponsible parents decided that raising a child was too much responsibility for them. Her uncle was on the contrary, a man of discipline and determination, he was married to a Japanese woman that cared for Ava like a mother, while her British uncle took it upon himself to raise the young girl to be an outstanding person. The matrimony was very well-versed in the way of the martial arts, and when their surrogate daughter showed an interest in their it as well, they gladly took her as a student.


Thus, it started little Ava's training, which she took with a smile and enthusiasm at first. She was formed by the fire of constance and discipline, but she was disappointed to find one day that her technique was pretty much like a piece of art. Just for show. Fortunately for her, forging her body like a weapon wasn't her only interest. She had a liking for superhero movies and comics, as well as anime and manga, for it described stories of powerful warriors using their might to change the world for the better and fight enemies of similar power.


It was destined for a flame to be lit in her soul when she learned of competitive fighting when she discovered it through the internet, a tournament of feminine fights took her interest, and after she was done watching the whole thing, all she could think about was: "I wish to try that as well!!!"


And thus, with lots of begging to her father figures and mentors, Ava was able to enter some competitive tournaments; Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Karate, she competed in every event she was able to get to. And she crushed most of them! Sometimes she attended without having practiced that fighting style in her life and still sweeped the floor with the competition after watching the matches before hers, other times she was defeated by the strongest fighters during combat, and then she would return next year to compete again and defeat everyone this time. She never returned to a tournament she already had won, despite technically being their "champion" and being asked to defend the title.


One day, she was asked by one of her friends if she had ever participated in wrestling, when she asked what was that, she was shown what wrestling was. It was love at first sight. The madness, the rivalries, the moves, everything appealed to her! When she saw it through a phone screen, she needed to see it live, and when she did, she needed to be a part of it.


This surprise came to her parents like a bucket of cold water, at first, both were against that idea. But then they realized how much it meant for Ava, so they yielded to her wishes. Staying with her aunt's family, the celestial striker moved in to the land of the rising sun, where she would go for try outs in AFW, and she crushed it, alongside her unfortunate opponent's head. That's the moment she was approached by an interesting-looking man that called himself a manager, asking for her permission to become the one who represented her career, and just because he looked interesting, she agreed!
