Physical Appearance: Kasumi is both small and rather thin looking, giving her a fragile look. This belies the fact that she is a trained fighter and her extraordinary strength. She isnâ€t so much buff as wiry, with every inch of her body tightly muscled. You canâ€t tell just by looking at her though.

Personality: Determined and focused, Kasumi seems very serious in the ring when sheâ€s actually fighting. She knows her moves very well, like a second nature, but sheâ€s also disciplined enough to never take any opponent lightly. Outside of fights, however, sheâ€s a very loose and happy person, optimistic most of the time and confident in her own abilities. She is a bit rash and too fearless for her own good sometimes though, since she thinks that because of her training and skills she is a match for everybody, not really realizing just how small she is.

Past/History: The only child of a famous Karate dojo master, Kasumi has had a lot to live up to. Her parents originally desired sons, but after giving birth to Kasumi her mother ended up barren, unable to have any more children. Kasumi also had a difficult birth, and was not expected to live a healthy life. Her father, however, was determined to make his only child survive and inherit the dojo.
Thus Kasumi began learning Karate at a very young age. At first her father only intended for her to gain physical strength so that she would become stronger and healthier. But, as time went on, he found that Kasumi seemed to have a natural genius for fighting, making up for her lack of size with extraordinary proficiency with techniques, and an incredible work ethic. At age eight, Kasumi was already better than most of the other students in the dojo.
Kasumi wanted to become strong enough to make her father proud, and be a worthy inheritor of the dojo. She wanted to be the son that her father could never have. To be a worthy inheritor, however, she had to prove herself, usually by defeating powerful opponents.
She joined AFW from the recommendation of a friend of hers, who told her that there were few places that had so many powerful fighters.
