At first, Mariah just thought she was hearing things. Her head was so messed up by getting wrecked like that, her thoughts were scattered, still feeling all the aftereffects from that orgasm. How loud would she scream as the full force of Kaija came descending upon her feeble form? How battered would her flesh be as Kaija's came inbounding like an asteroid headed for earth. How desperate would her cries for mercy be as Kaija wouldn't waste a second more to torment the poor girl right after her spectacular splashdown?

None a single one of those questions would be answered. Not a single one. Instead it was Kaija who was sent screaming as she found herself colliding front first into nothing but canvas, her body letting out a smaller bounce as she rebounded from the force of her impact. Instead it was her flesh that felt bruised, tenderized from the speed and intensity of her collision. The only thing she wasn't willing to concede however, were her please for mercy as Mariah took the opportunity to climb on top of her and entrap her upper half in an excruciating crossface crippler.

She refused to satisfy her opponent's demands, grunting and grumbling excessively as the pain built up in intensity. Despite the ferocity of the hold, Kaija simply would not scream, her face turning a dark shade of red as the pain slowly ramped up to a point where it would eventually become too much to bear. She let out a loud yelp, one of the few if not the first of the match so far, gasping loudly as she felt herself become victimized at the hands of the women she was so ruthlessly dominating only seconds ago.

What happened? What did she give away that had allowed for the tides to turn so quickly? She was positive that Mariah was out of it, completely deprived of any strength to retaliate. So confident was she of this, that Kaija had even afforded enough time to gloating, making a show of herself and her opponent previously on the ropes. All that precious time seemed wasted now, only serving to provide her opponent with the time needed to somewhat recuperate, and now here she was, paying for her cockiness in the form of pathetic wheezing and even more embarrassing yelps of pain.

”Hell fucking yes!”

Bubbles leaped up and yelped as her wife turned the tables on Kaija, shifting things back to her favor in an instant. It was one of the things she had taught her back in her early days, back when she was still fresh in the game and learning. Wrestling wasn’t like boxing, where being behind in the match could create an insurmountable gap that could never be closed. No, in wrestling, you always had a chance, you could always turn things around, and Mariah had just proved that splendidly.

It was a close thing, but it worked, and the match was now back on her terms. Mariah hadn’t locked in this move in a long time, but she was more than capable of making it sting. Wrenching it tight, locking it in. It had been a long while since she’d done this move, but everything about it came natural, and the results couldn’t be argued. Definitely not by Kaija, who was in too much pain to really argue.

”What, no scream?” Mariah gave it a good wrench, twisting Kaija’s neck to add in some extra pain. ”Know what? That’s fine. If you don’t want to use that throat to make some noise, I’ll close it for you.”

Mariah moved up Kaija’s back and adjusted her hold, bringing her arms around her foe’s neck and adding a tight choke to the classic hold. It might lose the pain of the submission, but Mariah could already tell this woman was too damn stubborn to give up. But unconsciousness? If she couldn’t breath, her body would lose the match for her.

The rage bubbling up inside of Kaija was at a level not yet seen in the match. She wanted nothing more than to unleash a beatdown on this bitch that would make her regret ever putting her in this position in the first place. While depriving her opponent of her demanded scream certainly satisfied Kaija's sense of dignity, it only served to make her opponent more irate with her defiance. Kaija let out a sharp and perhaps the loudest cry yet as Mariah twisted Kaija's neck even further, bringing the level of pain up to another notch. She began clawing away at Mariah's arms desperately trying to pry them away and provide at least a little bit of space for herself to breath. As powerful as she was, there simply wasn't getting out of a move as tight locked as a crippler cross face. Well, at least not through force anyways.

She felt the hold adjust suddenly, with Mariah now further up her back and her arms wrapped her neck as opposed to her chin. Kaija was left coughing and sputtering, realizing her opponent was intending to choke her out right here and now. Time was limited as oxygen was slowly being deprived form Kaija's lungs, but if there was any bright side to the situation, it was that the adjustment meant that Mariah had a less firm hold on the powerful fighter. Out of options, Kaija resorted to the only thing that was left to there: Retreat. She shifted her hands away from Mariah's arms and instead planted them along the canvas, digging her fingers deeply into mat and begging to crawl along the surface and towards the ropes.

She put all her muscle into it, dragging both herself and her opponent along the canvas as she inched her way towards the edge of the ring. She put her legs into it too, gripping her barefeet into the mat and using them in tandem with her arms to crawl her way to respite. Her sputtering intensified as the struggle continued, Kaija now only a few moments away from complete asphyxiation while her cheeks turned a flushed shade of red and her eyes bulged with strain. The weight of Mariah on her back was immense given that she didn't have the oxygen and subsequent energy to carry through with it, but nonetheless she persevered, now only inches away from the ropes in a outstanding display of stubbornness and strength. With one last final wheeze she would outstretch her hand in the direction of the lowest ropes, and with all her might would attempt to latch onto it with the final remnants of her strength.

Being this close to Kaija, having their bodies pressed so tight, she could get a much better feel for the level of power she was dealing with, and she had to admit it was more than a little worrying. The woman did little to hide her figure, so it was easy to tell how muscular she was on the surface, but that was no substitute to being this close and having to deal with the strength directly. Bubbles had often told her how a lot of her bodybuilding friends back in the day hadn’t been nearly as strong as they looked, how their were so many tricks and tips you could go with to make your muscles look more impressive than they were really were to win competitions.

There was none of that with Kaija, just raw one-to-one power, and it made her all the more anxious to bring this match to a close. This was closest she had come to a true advantage, and she couldn’t let it slip through her fingers. She did not like her chances if she let this woman go, needed this match over ASAP.

A simple enough demand, but Kaija didn’t seem of a mind to go along with it. The woman fought hard even as the air fled her body, struggling towards the ropes, fighting for every inch. It might’ve been inspiring if she hadn’t just spent the past ten minutes being a legendary bitch to Mariah. As it was, she just wanted this woman to go to sleep so she could go home, have a long bath, and fuck her wife until they both couldn't stay awake. Not asking too much out of life.

But no, it wasn’t enough, and Kaija reached the ropes despite her best effort, latching onto the bottom one tight. Mariah made her frustration known with a long, groaning sigh, and proceeded to wrench the hold even tighter, wanting to milk the move for all it was worth, but that was only ever going to get her so far.

”4! Mariah, let go of the hold or I’ll disqualify you!”

Reluctant, she let go of the hold and rolled off as the referee stepped between them, checking up on Kaija and giving her a few seconds to recover. Annoying as it was to be so close yet so far, she had managed to make some good ground on her opponent, heaped on some decent damage. It wasn’t the end of the world. She could work with this.

The moment she was clear, Mariah moved in, reached out, and grabbed Kaija’s hair, looking to drag her back towards the center of the ring for another submission move. Probably the same one, too - she wasn’t getting extra points for variety, so screw it.

Normally a retreat to the ropes would have been a cowardly move in Kaija's playbook. She was enraged, strong, and skilled - all the necessary traits needed to get out of most submission holds if determined enough. But then again Kaija was facing a pretty damn determined foe herself, one that was especially irked by her past treatment at the hands of the sadistic heel. Add on the fact that the move caught Kaija completely by surprise, and there was no denying that retreat really was the only option available to her. Besides, it wasn't all that bad. She had still put up an impressive feat of strength just crawling herself out of there. Still, the hold had been blemish on her bravado-fueled ego, one that she wasn't planning paying back kindly any time soon.

Worse yet was the fact that the referee of all people had to come to her rescue. Mariah refused to let go, cranking out every last second of the hold for all it was worth. Kaija was already on the brink of passing out, and her opponent didn't seem to keen on letting that opportunity go to waste. It was a dirty tactic, one that Kaija herself had resorted too dozens of times before but sure as hell didn't appreciate it being used on her. It was only after threats of disqualification by the small ref-girl did she finally let go, only digging deeper into the wound that was Kaija's deluded sense of pride

"URGHH!" Kaija let out a loud growl as she was snatched up by her hair and dragged to the center of the ring. Her opponent had given her a few seconds to recover, but she was going to need more time than that in order to recuperate enough strength to strike back. Mariah didn't seem to keen on giving it to her, instead opting to dish out even more punishment. Kaija dug in her heels, violently resisting Mariah's forward motion as she tried to slow her progress as much as possible. She slowed her down a little, but it was going to take a lot more than thrashing around on the mat to stop her opponent drive to induce some much deserved revenge.

Kaija let out one last growl, subsiding with her thrashing in favor of a much more tactful approach. She threw both her hands upwards, latching onto Mariah's outstretched hand as she continued to drag her along the ring. She lowered her grip until she was firmly clamped around Mariah's wrist, and immediately began tugging downwards to hopefully stagger her opponent and temporarily halt her advance. If that worked, Kaija would arch her back upwards, puling along Mariah's arms until she had dragged herself back onto her feet. If she had managed to pull it off, she would refuse to let go of her grip on her opponent, instead sharply yanking Mariah's arm outwards while at the same time swiveling behind her, applying excruciating force in a twisting wrist lock!

The crowd didn’t seem to crazy about Mariah milking the hold - after all, it wasn’t the clean thing to do, not nice girl behavior, far from the sort of thing that was typically associated with her. She got a few boos here and there, some disappointed shakes of the head, the usual stuff.

Somehow, though, she couldn’t bring herself to care too much. For one, she knew that Kaija would do the same thing to her in a heartbeat - she didn’t strike her as the type of woman to let go at count one, either. For two, given the hell she’d been put through in this match, she could hardly be blamed for seizing every opportunity that came her way. She had to win. This was the only real chance that was coming her way, and she couldn't afford to let it slip.

”Watch the hair, Mariah!”

She growled at the referee’s warning and adjusted her hold, moving to grip her skull instead, not much of a downgrade. ”I know, I know.” Mariah had to plant her feet down hard for the next few steps, doing her best to keep Kaija under control, but the woman was a living live wire. ”Jesus, come on, we’re almost-”

Mariah cried out as Kaija rose up with a sudden burst of energy, seizing her arm and twisting it around. She tried to resist, but there was only so far that could get with a woman like this - she was strong, fast, had this explosive energy that was hard to resist, and she couldn’t stop the woman from wrenching her arm back and trapping it, keeping it in an inexorable grip. Trapped, her arm bent in an uncomfortable direction, with an opponent like this in her blindspot. All bad things.

She pressed her feet on the floor and tried to push back, attempting to shuffle them into the ropes and break the hold. It was a long chance, though - she’d almost gotten them to the center of the ring when she dragged Kaija, and there was a good deal of ring to cover.

Just watching Mariah's arm contorted in such an unnatural position was uncomfortable enough, but one could only imagine what it was like to experience. Kaija on the other hand only gleamed with joy as she saw her opponent writhe and cry out in pain beneath her grasp. She would jerk her grip even harder, eliciting more sharp cries of pain from the trapped blonde.

Even more pathetic were her shuffling towards the ropes. Kaija entertained the attempt, even mockingly loosening the grip to allow Mariah to make it towards the center of the ring before yanking it right back to 100% by the time the two of them made it there. There was no way she was going to allow her opponent to snake out of this one. Mariah wasn't strong enough to prevent Kaija's own retreat to the ropes, but luckily the malicious heal wasn't so weak as to make the same mistake. Once they were at the center, Kaija figured that she better put a stop to the women's desperate attempts at escape once and for all. She lashed out with her leg, aiming to kick her opponent in the inner portion of her thigh and calves as many times as it took to send her crumbling to her knees.

If she had managed to down her opponent, she would relieve the viscous hold and instead swoop in behind her and snake both her arms through Mariah's armpits cupping her hands over the women's breasts. Kaija was just not letting her have it. She managed to back them toward the ropes about halfway before she slammed the breaks, halting all progress, as if Mariah had found herself up against a brick wall. Before she could even think about a different tact, kicks hammered her thigh, making her cry out again and again, and she fell to her knees.

That did make Kaija let go of Mariah’s arm, though, so it was a small mercy. What she replaced that hold with, however, was worse in its own way. Kaija slowly licked her lips, admiring the smooth, toned, sweat glistened body of her opponent splayed out in front of her, what was left of her dignity just begging to be taken away.

She took a few heavy steps forward, each footstep shaking the ring in a intimidating approach to her downed opponent. She stopped just short of the ropes, bending down to pick up Mariah's ankle and roughly yank it off the bottom rope. She turned around, heading off to the center of the ring in those same, slow, heavy set footsteps, dragging Mariah along with her and making sure every second was a grueling one for the blonde as they neared the next phase of her torment. She stopped one she got there, taking a moment to raise a quick middle finger to a good chunk of the crowd not to happy with the heel's reversal. Without even looking down at Mariah, she lifted up her leg before sending it flying straight down into her opponent's ribcage, grinding out the last few seconds out with her heel as she snickered at the concerned looking referee.
