Ark[D] vs Fate: Emergency Backup

Victory Conditions: Pinfall, submission, or KO

Yasumi was suppose to go against a girl that she had never heard before, so she decide to test the girl out in the locker room, but it seems she went a little too much as she heard that the girl was forced to leave the match and get her arms check and she would have a emergency backup opponent, of course Yasumi would stretch as she ready herself, before she heard her theme would play and she is being introduced, she would put on her mask as she ready herself before she would make her way out and down the ramp as her theme start to blast from the speaker, she would walk toward the ring while ignoring the audience

Her mask would cover her whole face as her left eyes seems like a giant red eye, but of course, she have holes out of it for her to see, her right side is like a giant sunglasses that she can see through, her outfit would have some mechanical looks to it while her side area can be seen ripped and her arms and left chest can be seen with small hole that would originally have tubes that connect for the whole outfit, but the tube would only get in the way, Yasumi would walk into her corner as she wait for her new opponent

Unlike the rest of her family, wrestling was something Fate wasn't into. She didn't hate it, but she had other ambitions, other goals. Before her mother's recent comeback, Fate did however have some ring time with Alaina Sanders on the down low. Since then it was something she worked on here and there, after all they say it can be difficult to not get involved in the family business in some capacity.

Fate was in Japan on an educational visit. Some college and universities were interested in her skills on the basketball court. She's about average height and build, but like her mother and wrestling, it was something she loved to do, and was something she was good at. During an off day she stopped by the site were a wrestling event would be later that night. Sion, her brother, got her inside and got a little bit of an in-ring work in. She understood the basics, but not enough that would deem her ready for competition here.

When it came time for her to leave just before the doors were to open there were people who were in a scramble for some reason. She stayed out of the way, but from what she could pick up, one of the wrestlers was attacked not far away, and there was doubt on who would replace her. She didn't know who the unlucky one was, but she had a feeling she wouldn't want to meet her attacker. As she was about to continue on her way someone who looked like he was in middle management came up to her.

He explained the situation, though didn't mention the victim's specific condition, and asked if she could fill in. She knew she wasn't the right person for the job, but for some reason she said "Sure." As soon as the word left her mouth she knew she fucked up. She couldn't hear what else he was saying as her brain was telling herself 'Are you retarded? There's no way you should do this. What would mom say?' Thankfully, someone else got the guy's attention so when her brain stopped he finished with the other person and he mentioned the details again. She got them that time, but it was more of a family instinctive reaction than her own smarts.

When she returned to the locker room she looked at what she had gear wise...just your basic in-ring workout gear, nothing standing out. Luckily for her, this room did have one of those blowing hand driers so her underwear and socks would be fine. The boots were alright, nothing to write home about though. Could she go out in short and a t-shirt and not be made fun of? Sure she is thrown into an unexpected situation, but given the situation she found her self in maybe some would understand, but who would know the whole story?

She left the room to see if she could figure out something, maybe she could find something more proper laying around. Catching another lucky break, she spots Alaina. Under normal circumstances she'd be calmer, but she was in a bit of a panic when she got Alaina's attention. She had to get calmed down so Alaina could make sense of the situation. Fate explained the situation and asked if Alaina had something she could borrow, even if it was a t-shirt. Alaina looked at what she had on her, and at the very bottom of her bag was something that could pass off as actual two peice wrestling attire. She was told that this was a spare set she got, but who made it here got her size and colours wrong, and the pattern's off, but Alaina thinks it'll fit Fate better because it's tight on her. Fate's eyes lit up as she was handed the clothes. With a quick "Thanks" she ran out the door to get ready.

The outfit did indeed fit her. The top was a bit loose, but she figured she could make it work. There was still time before she had to be out there, which she spent what time she had left trying to get in the right frame of mind. Unlike the first time she sorta did this, tonight would be in front of many people. That didn't help her nerves. When she looked in the mirror and saw what she was wearing it did help somewhat. Even if barely, she did look the part. Plus it was comforting to know someone else on the roster was willing to help her, even if it was someone she knew prior. She pretended for a moment this was just like basketball, a big game. Instead of a team of opponents there's only one, but there was an opposition, and a crowd.

When she got the call to go to the ring she stood up with confidence and left the locker room. She got to the curtain just as her opponent was stepping through the ropes. She took a peek through the curtain. 'Damn that's a lot of people...Focus Fate focus, you can do this, it's just like provincial finals.' checked to see if everything was in place, yep...'Wait a second...they never asked me what entrance music I wanted. Hopefully they don't give me something crappy.' There was no time to worry about that, she'd get her cue in a matter of seconds.

As soon as the generic rock played, she took a deep breath before stepping through the curtain. There was no need to yell or say anything as she made her way out, though she did make hand contact with those sitting close to the railing that wanted the interaction, that was okay she thought. Once she completed a full lap around the ringside area she climbed up the steps and stepped through the ropes. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she'd be in this spot. She moved her hair back before climbing one of the corners to greet the crowd. She had no intention of doing that, it just came to her, as if the wrestling gene was an actual thing. When she touched back down she looked across the ring. Fate appeared to be a couple of inches or so taller than her opponent, but the opposition looked like she had way more experience than her.

The referee came to check Fate over, all's good. Fate gave a quick nod when asked if she was ready, she was as ready as she'll ever be. What her opponent was wearing Fate began to wonder what would await her and if what little she knows could be enough for an upset. Fate wasn't sure, but she was ready to try as soon as the bell rang.

As soon as the bell ring, Ark would charge at Fate, instead of looking for a lock up, she would simply pull back her right arms and form her hand into a fist as she throw her surprise punch at Fate's face, hoping for the fist to meet it's target: Fate's face. Yasumi was never a person who care about the rules, all she want is someone to punch, especially if it's someone who can fight back, that is why she join after all, to find someone else to fight, someone strong, someone that could give her a go, and of course, someone for her to break. That is why, as soon as the bell ring, she would dash and throw out a punch, waiting for Fate's reaction, she would wait to see what she would do as Yasumi/Ark would have a cruel smile under her mask

Of course, if nothing interrupted Yasumi, she would grab Fate by the throat, who she hoped would be stunned by the punch as she tighten the grip on the throat with one hand. Eventually, she would let go after few second before she would turn around and perform a spin kick, aiming to give her a spin kick to the side of her head. Leaving no Mercy as Yasumi or Ark, keep on the pressure on Fate, attempt to keep on the combo and damage that she is dishing out.

Fate done all she could to prepare, now it's a matter of getting what's in front of her. She approached Ark to tie up, however she was instead greeted by her opponent with a running first. Fate stumbled back from the contact, being caught by surprised by that choice of opening the move. Ark got a small reminder about keeping an open fist, though whatever he said seemed to go in and out the other ear as ark was back on her as she grabbed Fate by the throat, making the opening seconds to Fate's in-ring career even more unpleasant.

Ark's grip didn't last too long as the referee's count forced a break of the hold, and earned her an earful. Fate fell back against the ropes as soon as Ark let go and hung against the ropes, coughing and gagging a bit to get some air. Of course Fate knew wrestling wasn't gone to be easy and there were some who don't like playing fair and who would bend the rules whenever possible, but Fate was finding out first hand having to go through it and feel it herself is way different than if she was simply watching on TV or being in the audience.

Yasumi would plan to give Fate a powerful Spin kick to the face, but yet, before she could do that, the Ref break her away from Fate as she start talking, causing Ark simply growl as she push the ref away and give her a middle finger, as she walk toward Fate again, ready to continues the match as she eye Fate, who, for Yasumi seems...simply not that interested, or strong, she think to her self while eyeing Fate and walk toward her before stop and put her right arm on her hips and look at her in the eyes....it's not like her mask would show her eyes to Fate, so not really a eyes to eyes

Yasumi would look at Fate as she had a smirk under the mask before she would decide to go for a little taunt, maybe to damage her confident a little as Yasumi simply said "Heh, So...You're the best they can send? The girl before that I originally gonna fight was more interested than you did before I bashed her head with the locker, what make you think you got what it take?"

Most of what Ark said Fate couldn't make out as she was more concerned about getting proper air flow again, but she was aware Ark was close by. By the time Fate felt she continue from that she could hear Ark asking if that was all she had. Fate turned around to face her opponent and shoved it back to get some distance between them so she could get in proper position again.

Fate holds her arms out and gestures for Ark to come at her and tie up. Fate wasn't sure if Ark would, but since Ark came at her running at the start of the match Fate clued in that it could happen again, and if it did she would be ready. If Ark took her up on that could she out maneuver her masked opponent? Fate didn't have have an answer to that self question, but she knew she could try.

Ark would saw Fate who shove her back and get some distance as she would stand there and ready herself, before she would look at her and ready herself. She can see that Fate gesture for her to make the first move, which Yasumi, of course, took it as a challenge as she move toward  Fate and ready herself, she would charge and raise her right arm, go for a simply clothes line, but of course, she would believe that Fate would dodge it.

That is why, if she missed, she would run to the rope and bounce herself back, and wrap her arms around Fate's wrist from the back and start lifting her up, goes form a Clothesline to a German suplex as she attempt to lift Fate and slam her to the mat behind them as she had a look of confident on her face as she proceed to perform it

As Fate figured what could have been a possibility, Ark again opted to run at her instead of locking up. This time Fate was ready for it and ducked to avoid the line. She turned around as Ark went off the rope, and when Ark came her way she though she'd do what Ark wasn't able to do and clothesline her instead.

Ark somehow avoided Fate's arm and got behind her. Before Fate could properly process what happened she felt Ark's arms around her waist and lifting her up for a german suplex.

As she can see the suplex worked, she would pull herself back up and look down at Fate, Yasumi would simply made a hmph noise as she shake her head, quite disappointed of how easily Fate was taken to the mat, she would start raise up her left up and stomp down, aiming all of her stomps at all over Fate's upper body before she would decide to finish it off with a kick to her belly

If everything goes right, she would move herself backward few steps and wait for Fate to pull herself up as she stand there, as soon as Fate would get back up, Yasumi would run at Fate, and give no time for Fate to rest as Ark proceed to attempt to aim a Clothesline at Fate if nothing goes wrong

Before Fate could process what happened and where she was, Ark was giving her an up close and personal feel of her boot. She didn't expect things to be easy, but Fate wasn't having a good time. Eventually Ark backed off, and after brushing away the referee, Fate stood back up. 'Come on Fate, you can do this' she told herself.

Once Fate regained her footing she turned around, as she was facing away from her opponent...and turned right into a clothesline that took her back down with ease.
